Today was a bit of a hectic day, the type your on the phone back and forth, running around and talking to people. It was nonstop! I even had a presentation to put together which wasn’t too bad, but it needed slightly more substance and the formating needed improvement. I was really running around with zero time, didn’t get much to eat too much on my mind. Thanks to some coworkers they did the formating for me while I was in some important meetings and they turned the bland slides to some AMAZING styles, I called each and every one of them after work and thanked them for the complete reformatting. It was great, and I really appreciated all the help and support from my coworkers so I’m getting them all Krispy Kreme! hehehe!

I didn’t have a chance to ride this weekend because of the weird weather, but as soon as I got off work around 6:40pm I got home changed got on my bike and went straight to the gym for about 40 minutes of cardio. After that I head home to change and go to my cousin’s dewaneya, but right after the shower I felt exhausted. But before going out I had a salad and grilled chicken while watching one episode of anime. It was good and then I headed out to the dewaneya. It was good night, and I was happy I got some riding in today. I still have a few things to take care of tomorrow but it isn’t too bad.

Going to be an interesting week, I just hope the weekend weather will be good so I can ride. It sounds really bad outside with thunder and a bit windy, I wonder how its going to be in the morning.

Today I have been flying around from meeting to meeting! It was insane, I was getting a lot done but I still didn’t get much of a breather!

Meetings:

• 8:00am – 10:30am
• 11:30am – 1:00pm
• 1:30pm – 3:00pm
• 3:45pm – 5:00pm

For some reason I couldn’t get any of them to move to Wednesday! It wasn’t an overwhelming amount of work as much as running around all over the place! None of the meetings wanted to move to Wednesday, it was funny. And I burnt about half a tank of gas flying around making sure I wouldn’t be late for a meeting, I had a few coworkers hitting the floor in the seat next to me thinking that they had the breaks, I find that to be funny. I like being on time. Hopefully it will be a little less running around tomorrow.

I know a lot of people in the Banking Industry who are working, but a lot of people just arent showing up. Its kind of funny since it feels like the whole day is going slow. I was even surprised for those people who didn’t show up, and when I came to call a few people nobody picked up. So for the first day of work nobody was there!

I’ve been running around non-stop all day yesterday and this morning trying to get things done and between people and phone calls just to get the phone thing that I need. I have to say that I have learned more in the last 3 days then I did before, you learn a lot from screw ups! And its insane when the responsibility is in your face.

Im just hoping that this all gets resolved today so I can relax for a bit. Looking forward to doing nothing later and catching up on some needed R & R!

Everything is hanging on the balance towards the end of the year. Maybe its just my case with what I’m handling but its insane when you have so much on your plate. Everyone keeps talking to me about holidays and where your traveling and things of that nature. Personelly my head is still stuck in work and all the other nitty gritty details that Im trying to workout.

Im just hoping that I will have better news then yesterday where I got screwed by customs. Customs in Kuwait is useless, they dont get things done and there are too many damn approvals for so many different branches in the damn government. They should try streamlining things because they are really screwing with businesses.

And there is getting more projects and information towards the end of the year. Because of work I haven’t had a chance to go to the gym for the past two weeks and that thought is sitting in the back of my head and annoying me. People want to travel and all I want to do is lay down on a couch for a couple of hours with nothing to think about except when to ride and when Im going to eat.

I’m at work and I have few things to do, basically wrapping up some paperwork and details. But I have one thing sitting on the balance and it has all to do with customs. This a large shipment of equipment for a project and I’m basically 100% safe or 100% screwed all depending on customs. Im crossing my fingers here and hoping everything goes well.

This is going to be a good day! Reminds me of being in San Francisco when its just one of those days I look forward to freezing my butt off on the bike! Its been three weeks since I had the chance to ride but damn today is going to be good. For those who want to know Im going to be on the Gulf Road between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.

I dont think Im missing anything but this time Im giving anyone a window who wants to spot me on the road. You might see me or a black blur depends on your luck. Now you see me .. now you dont!

The funny part is that Im not even thinking about work.

Juggling all the meetings plus emails plus conference calls plus reports is one hell of a funny thing. People asking questions shouting answers across the open area and then just running around tracking people down.

The thing that drives me nuts is people who leave their office to do someting and not taking their cellphone with them its hard has hell to track them down when you need them for that one thing. You really do go nuts trying to find out information, and the worst thing possible is being given the wrong information! Its as if your left to walk the plank.

Yesterday I went a bit to Villa Moda for the Freej visit but I could only stay at most 10 mins, and I enjoyed myself but I had to come back to work where I stayed to 5:30pm it was a damn long day. And the funny part is the Free Zone is three minutes away from me so Villa Moda wasn’t out of the way. One more week and then we get a week off, I think. I dont know how many days everyone is getting off but I know one thing I will be doing. Watching a good amount of tv and riding as much as humanly possible.

When you are hoping that everything goes smoothly for the end of the year and then everything will sail from there, but something is always bound to go wrong. The last couple of weeks has been a bit rough at work, and yesterday I thought I could relax after getting when I needed from a supplier.

Then I got a call late in the day saying there was a huge mix up and the items in stock aren’t yours. I knew that this week isnt going to be easy. The problem is the domino affect this might have with the rest of the project. Things are not going to be pretty.

At work we have a tea guy who goes around and takes orders and he knows everyone. Its two guys and they are pretty funny! They walk around like they own the place, and sometimes I think they do.

I come in early in the morning and he always passes by my office to ask if I want something and I only ask for water. He is really nice, and so is the other guy. And they are nice in their own way. They always walk over from the other building so I dont really complain about anything and they always bring it hot. He made me laugh the other week because he told me that I never order anything and everybody is ordering coffee, tea, turkish coffee, french coffee, or other things, and Im always ordering water water water water. He was getting pissed off that I dont ask for anything! hahahaha..

It made me laugh, both of them noticed that I dont drink anything except water and I like tea sometimes but I dont have the time to sit in front of the desk sometimes so I dont want to ask and then I have to leave. So now he comes in and asks me if I have any appointments and then he goes and gets me tea without me saying anything. I told him he doesnt need to bring anything expcet water and then he goes and brings me water and tea. I thought they were great, but now they are just fantastic! They go about it in their own way, its just funny. I thank them, but sometimes I dont think its enough because they make me laugh.
