There is no doubting that I am a huge comic fan, but surprisingly I’m no the biggest fan of Iron Man since Tony Stark annoys me a bit, but this is different. This is not an animated tv show but rather an animated comic or to be exact motion comics, which is mix still and moving images to give this very cool comic feel, it feels like the comic is alive and the action in the Iron Man Extremis series is amazing. The story revolves around the Extremis experiment which helps explain some of the Iron Man development, you can see the trailer below for a brief short of the show and the idea of motion comics.
After watching this I downloaded other motion comics but Iron Man Extremis set the standard high with diverse set of characters, excellent animation and great sound. It has this noir feeling to it but seeing the Iron Man in action is fantastic, I’m just frustrated that the episodes were so short, I wanted a lot more. The action is great and the flow is fantastic, well worth watching and I hoping to see more Motion Comics of this caliber.

Being a Star Wars fan I have piled up the Cartoon Network TV show for a while now waiting to watch it at the right time. I watch one or two episodes a while ago and I knew it was good but for some reason I decided to watch it later. Recently using the AirVideo App on my iPad I have been streaming the show from my PC and watching it whenever I have a chance. I have watched about 4 episodes in one shot on the first day, I know I for one can never get enough of Star Wars and I love the animation work. Luckily season two is already done and I’m just one season one so I have a lot to look forward to and enjoy, the character I tend to enjoy the most is General Grievous from the Separatists, he tends to always get pissed off and takes his rage out on the dumb robots.
Betrayed by the Romans. Forced into slavery. Reborn as a Gladiator. The classic tale of the Republic’s most infamous rebel comes alive in the graphic and visceral new series, “Spartacus: Blood and Sand”. Torn from his homeland and the woman he loves, Spartacus is condemned to the brutal world of the arena where blood and death are primetime entertainment. But not all battles are fought upon the sands. Treachery, corruption, and the allure of sensual pleasures will constantly test Spartacus. To survive, he must become more than a man. More than a gladiator. He must become a legend.
Below is a slight short warning of the show but it doesn’t even define the gruesomeness of this show, you think that it couldn’t get any crazier but it does and they set their limits very far.
Spartacus depicts extreme sensuality, brutality and language that some viewers may find objectionable.
The show is a historical portrayal of ancient Roman Society and the intensity of the content is to suggest an authentic representation of that period
This show took a quick turn for the better, it got a mixed reception of people liking it and disliking it. I for one wasn’t too keen on it from the first few episodes since the graphics seemed a bit cheap, but I was very mistaken, it takes a quick turn for the better and very quickly. As the statement above says its a graphic representation of that period, not the noble kind we are used to seeing of Romans but the raw and ruthless that would show of the time. The show revolves around Spartacus and the Gladiators, and it is filled with twist after twist. The show is just greatly thoughout and its different the show Rome that people might compare it to, its not for everyone’s appetite but nonetheless an amazing show which I’m looking forward to season 2 and not sure what to expect and the ending is epic.

The summer shows are always light and fun, some actions, some sci fi, a little thriller, a great combination of shows for the summer. The only one I’m watching that isn’t part of the summer line up is Spartacus which is drawing me but not as a good as I expected, enjoying the action the graphics are a little over the top and not enough story to bite into. But the rest are the usual great shows, I just can’t get enough of Eureka, Royal Pains, and Lie to Me.
The Shows
Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is a 19th century-style but modern-day officer, who enforces his brand of justice which puts a target on his back with criminals and puts him at odds with his bosses in the U.S. Marshals Service. As a result of his having eagerly shot a Miami fugitive in a “justified” shooting in his South Florida assignment, he gets reassigned to the district covering his rural Eastern Kentucky mining hometown of Harlan County.
Timothy Olyphant carries a certain type of character, and perfects the bad ass modern cowboy, shooting first and asking questions later. The show revolves around U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens who gets reassinged to his home town filled with hillbillies and are more criminally inclined, and his type of justice works perfectly. A simple story that is easy to understand, and gets complex enough to keep things interesting. Right of the bat its action packed with the special type of humor thrown into the mix, a fun show and I’m looking forward to season 2.

Its one of those shows that just falls under the radar, Alicia Floric is a lawyer working for a Chicago law firm, she got her degree long ago but became a wife & mother. Husband to the States Attorney who falls prey to a scandal and ends up behind bars, she has to find her way as a new lawyer taking care of her family and keeping away from the press. Not your usual lawyer show, but something a little different with thrilling action and political spice. I like how the show develops and it only gets better episode to episode, its one those shows that you don’t mind spending a whole day watching, and I enjoyed it. Now for season 2 to start this fall.

The Botwin family is back and they are in a lot more trouble then they were before. I just can’t wait for it, I haven’t completely finished Season 5 but I’m planning on finishing it before its done since it now takes a completely different story and its looking good. The Botwins on the run, check out the short fun intro below and you know where its going, and its just getting better. With the previous seasons the Botwins always operated from a home base and the regular people they are dealing with, but this time around they are on the run and its getting exciting, and the intro is looking good.
Season Intro Below:
I don’t know what these custom builders are up to, first it was Omega Supreme, and now the Dinobots Combinior “Extinction”. Frenzy_rumble, the artist behind this model, put together an idea he had about the Dinobots and created this awesome model. Previously I always just remembered Grimlock and the Dinobots, they were clumsy but they were powerful autobots, not the smartest bunch but you wouldn’t want to be on their bad side. This model is a combined version of all five Dinobot the limbs, Slag, Snarl, Swoop and Sludge, form around their leader, Grimlock, who forms the torso and combine into the massive robot “Extinction.” I love the “DYNO” and “MYTE” on each hand!
In the original fiction, the Dinobots were the Autobot’s wrecking crew. If it was big and needed to be dead in minutes, you’d call for these boys, but unlike other subgroups that came later, one thing these guys couldn’t do was combine into a bigger robot. Customizer frenzy_rumble aims to change all that with this beautiful piece of toy.

This screen cast brings back memories, there is no man on earth that isn’t a fan of Bruce Lee, every Martial Artist after him could never surpass what he did. He brought martial arts to a new level, that exceeding normal expectations, and his speed is amazing in the video. Jackie Chan is a different kind of martial artist, a lot of people compare Jet Li to Bruce Lee because of his speed, but even in this Screen Test Bruce Lee is extremely cast. What surprised me honestly is his grasp of the english language and your talking about 50 years ago which is a different time. What’s also funny is the man refers to them as “Orientals” which could be considered political incorrect in these times, and that old man kept moving after Bruce Lee made his move. For such a short life he has had an impact on the cinema and martial arts world that nobody could compare to.
