Warner Brothers has at last announced the new images of Thunder Cats that they have been working, and I really like where this is going. A lot of shows are going the Anime way to give it the more adult like look rather then cartoonish look. And the way this is going I think they are working hard on it to get the story right and to perfect the animation for a show that so many of us hold so dear. I’m hoping it comes out soon, but for now I’m enjoying a good amount of animated shows and other then my usual anime line up.

Generations of one family all in the NYPD, from the normal street cop all the way to the commissionar. All with their own issues while on the police force with Donnie Wahlberg (Yes the brother of Mark Wahlberg) as the troubled detective who breaks the rules to get the job done. This show turned out to be the little gem of the season, an unexpected success and I really like it. If you are into cop shows then this is a must see, I like where its going and I like the Police Commissionar played Tom Selleck.
There are a lot of good shows this up coming season, and some I’m very much looking forward to like V, it seems they have really worked on the story to make it a blockbuster for this season and I hope it keeps going. The new Spartacus seems pretty good, I’m just hoping its as good as the original. This list will be added to the usual shows I’m following, I’m honestly confused as to which episodes I have reached with each show, these days I’m losing track.
Supernatural is a crazy show in the first place but transforming into an anime is GENIUS! I understand a little bit of the trailer but without subtitles I’m a little lost, since I know the Supernatural storyline pretty well I can somewhat understand whats going on, the best part is that they are using the same soundtrack which is one part that makes the show great. They can go even farther and darker then the show has already done with Anime. Its a production by Madhouse who are behind Paprika, Batman: Gotham Knights, and The Animatrix. I’m going to enjoy watching these season one shot and now I have the animation to look forward to.

The Lonely Planet are back and this time they have brought Blake Lively and Jessica Alba this time around featuring Akon. And this is just as funny as Jizz in Your Pants. These guys never stop and I hope they just keep making these funny videos. Now the new Album is coming out in 2011, I’m wondering what other music videos will be coming out.
Transformers: Prime is a computer-animated television series that premiered on The Hub on November 2010 with a five-part mini-series, which will be followed by a full season in February 2011. There are 26 episodes scheduled for the first season and another three seasons have been outlined by the screenwriters.
For a CGI animated cartoon it turned out much better then I expected, and they don’t waste any time and jump right into the thick of the story. Optimus Prime at the throat of Megatron with a lot at stake. This is part of the continuing storyline and I hope more autobots show up, I enjoy when they kick Decipticon ass. The first five part miniseries was a lot of fun, I’m going to be looking forward to the upcoming season.

Recently there have been a lot of good animated shows coming out. I have been a huge fan of the Justice League and follow it throughout the seasons and Justice League Unlimited, Im still hoping that they come up with another show of the Justice League. Because of the success of that show on Cartoon Network they have started to make high quality and somewhat mature animated shows, which both the young and old can relate to (I still I’m young). Whats good now is that the producers of these shows don’t think crappy animation and simple stories can satisfy kids, they know to be successful they have to engage them and produce quality shows. Below are some of the good shows I’m following, some are more serious then the others, and they are all different kinds of animation but great shows!
There is no question as to the importance of having this boxset on your mantel and watching the whole show. I have watched every season except season 8 and I’m planning a marathon soon to watch it, I honestly don’t want to think the show has ended, I think thats one of the reasons why I haven’t watched season 8. Everyone said its one of the best seasons yet, and I’m still crossing my fingers for the movie. If you have or haven’t you must get the Box Set and watch it, and if it comes out on Blu-Ray you should get it then too!

After the last few months I’m starting a few shows that they have just wrapped up to watch them one shot, or at least a good chunk of the episodes before the start of next year. A lot of good shows to catch up on, overall this year has been pretty good and I hope they renew most of these shows.
Defending the Earth from giant space monsters is tough for Lance, Ilana and Octus. But fitting in at high school might be even tougher. Sym-Bionic Titan follows the lives of Ilana, Lance and Octus, three alien teens that crash-land on Earth while attempting to escape an evil General who has taken over their home planet, Galaluna. Ilana, princess of Galaluna, Lance, a rebellious but capable soldier, and Octus, a bio-cybernetic robot, must now blend into everyday life in Sherman, Illinois. Posing as high school students, Lance and Octus work to conceal Princess Ilana from General Modula and his hideous space mutants sent to harm the sole royal heir of Galaluna.
This motley trio makes a real effort to navigate high school life, all while saving the planet and themselves from an onslaught of inter-galactic attacks. In their everyday forms, Ilana and Lance act as brother and sister, while Octus portrays dual roles of father at home and their friend Newton at school.
When called into battle, our Galalunians are outfitted with individual armor that provides more than ample protection. It’s when the gravest of danger appears that Octus activates the sym-bionic defense program and Ilana, Lance and Octus come together to form the spectacular cyber-giant Sym-Bionic Titan. It is in this form that they battle the most evil of beasts.
Cartoon Network has aired of the awesome episodes their new series Sym-Bionic Titan, from creator Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter’s Lab and Samurai Jack).I love the mix of 2D and CGI to give it that adult yet fun effect of all of Tartakovsky’s creations. Tartakovsky’s shows have a unique style and Sym-Bionic Titan is no exception. The first set of episodes are almost done and I watched all ten episodes in one night, only one left and I’m craving a lot more of this show. I knew it would be good coming from Tartakovsky but it turned out to be even better then I expected. The best part is that there is soooo much story that they can develop and you don’t know where this is going to go but I’m hoping for a lot, I enjoyed Dexter’s Labratory, and I loved and was addicted to Samurai Jack, this looks to be no different in my enjoyment of this show. I hope they don’t take too long for next season or next batch of episodes.
