This is great news for fans of Voltron from the 80s, the new cartoon has just aired on Nick Toons and this is what they look like. The animation is a combination of CGI and traditional animation which I think is very cool and its a winning combination. The first pic is of the very cool looking Voltron Lions inside of their Moon Base. I’m looking forward to watching this show, I’m going to let it air a few episodes before I start watching it and going to try to get my nephew into as well.
This weekend consisted of a lot of TV time, I really didn’t move much, except when it was time to eat, I was completely and utterly lazy but I did catch up on a lot of online content and managed to work on a few Mecha/Robot Models that I had ordered a while ago.
TV:
About to start watching Stargate Universe and Camelot. SGU ended which saddens me since I’m a huge fan of the Stargate Series, and Camelot is the forgotten brother of The Borgia and Game Of Thrones but seems very interesting. Now there are some good shows coming up this summer, I can’t wait for Eureka and other good shows this summer.
These are the shows that I have finished this season and loved, there are few that I am still working on. I have sort of been saving them to watch them all one go when I have the chance and luckily there is a small break between now and when the summer shows start.
With the cancellation of some of the shows that I like there are some interesting new line ups coming up such as these three. Alcatraz, Terra Nova and Charlies Angels. I watch anything done by JJ Abrahms and in this case it is Alcatraz and it looks very interesting. Terra Nova is from FOX and how humans travel to 85 Million years to the past to start civilization again. Charlies Angel is a reboot and it looks pretty good. So there is a decent line up for next year to keep an eye on.
There is a lot of TV shows which are doing very well and they have ordered some new seasons, but these shows are the ones that have dropped, the ones that couldn’t make it. Some should have another chance and the ones below that are the shows that have had a good run and will be missed. This will affect some TV addicts and I for one will have to adjust the shows I’m watching for next season as there will be some empty slots to fill.
Premature Cancellation:
Coming To An End (A nice run):
On the seventh season finale of ‘The Office’ , it feels like everyone on the planet is coming to Dunder Mifflin Scranton to interview for Michael Scott’s old job. Jim Carrey, Ray Romano, Warren Buffett, Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader and Catherine Tate will all be appearing in the episode as possible replacements.
The Office Search Committee, for the man to replace Michael Scott as the boss at Dunder Mifflin. We are still guessing who the boss is going to be, and I’m one man who is happy Will Ferrel is not the new boss and it seems a lot of people will be interviewed for the role at Dunder Mifflin. The new boss won’t be known until the first episode of Season 8 in the fall season of The Office.

Dwight takes charge of the office and immediately imposes his will on the staff.
Yes it happened! At last the one thing that I thought that wouldn’t happen on this show for the past 7 years happened at last! Dwight became the manager of Dunder Mifflin, that I wasn’t expecting. I was a bit worried for the show with Will Ferrel or D’Angelo at the helm, it felt like he didn’t fit in with them. When Dwight took over I got insanely excited, he really fit perfectly it got back to its funny roots, it feels like Michael Scott is just gone on an extended vacation. I’m looking forward to the next episode or the season finale I think, what ever it may I am curious as to the course set for The Office.

This was one of the coolest shows from back in the 90s and I was reminded of it when I saw the article by TV Squad. It was really a show that was unexpected in its time and so well done. I remember buying the videos from the Video Club in Salmiya to watch each and every episode that I could. Earl Sinclair was the head of the family, and I loved that baby, he would do the funniest things and always hitting Earl with the frying pan. Then there is the grandmother who was slightly evil but I loved her sarcasm. I always wondered how they made the characters, and I love how they made them seem so normal. I wish they would refresh this show and bring it back.

Don’t call them sidekicks! Young Justice follows the adventures of the teenaged superheroes Aqualad, Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Artemis , who have finally gained independence from their leaders and the privilege to start their own covert operations team with the Justice League.
Warner Brothers and DC Comics brought us another amazing animated show, for any fan of Justice League and Justice Leauge Unlimited you must watch this. The animation is similar to the previous shows and I really like the style of it. The intro to the show is bad ass, I really like the characters in the show and I like where it is going. There is unknown enemy working in the background, something is going on, I really want to see more episodes and luckily its only at the 9th episode and going.

Rating:
The last weekend it was a TV overdose, I literally sat as much as possible in front of the screen to watch as much shows as possible. There are a lot of good shows out there right now and I seriously can’t get enough of TV these days.
I have three shows that I am waiting to watch this summer during those slow days, and its going to be good.
