Life Size Gundam in Tokyo...

How cool is that, the Japanese have taken the step in the right direction. They have built a life size Gundam in Odaiba, I can’t believe they have finally completed it. This is the Gundam from the Original Series, the RX-78 Gundam. The detail of this Gundam is amazing, I wish I could see it, it will be taken down at the end of August but I hope they keep it up somehwere because that is really a work of art and such an attraction. Check out the link for a lot more details.

Gundam Fix Metal Composite MSZ-006A1/C! ...

A metal Gundam figure is rare to find, luckily for me I have received two as a gift from a friend. One is blue and the other is red, they came in pretty big boxes. I started with the red one since I have been watching the last Gundam series and it got me worked up. It turns out this figure can have about four different variations, two are robots and two are planes, and it gets pretty complicated.

I unpacked the boxes, kept everything its place but spread around me on the floor. The instructions are in Japanese but its pretty clear from the pictures, but sometimes I had a hard time trying to figure out how exactly they stayed in place. I didn’t go for the plane version of the Gundam I’m thinking of doing that for the other one, with the Robot version you have a lot of options. The bigger robot version looks damn cool but the normal version looks great as well, so I went halfway and beefed up the normal version a bit. Didn’t take too long, one hour and a bit of sitting on the floor and tinkering with it and all the different pieces and I have my Gundam put together.

Now to find a place for it, after searching around I decided to put it in the location of the evil Mazinger and move that next to my other Mazinger Z figures. Right now its sitting next to my Sonos Speaker and looks pretty good. I really have to reorganize the items I have in my room, too many things piled up.

LEGO Technic Street Bike...

I have recently gotten the urge to put things together and what better to satisfy that urge then with Lego Technic. I was just think how I’m being childish about this until I came across this beauty of a model, they made a model of the Ducati 749, how appropriate is that. The lines look great on this piece, it seems to have a V4 based on the commentary. Who doesn’t enjoy putting a Lego model together that really functions like this motorcycle.

iLauncher Gives You iPhone Controls for ...

I knew there was a USB missile launcher that you can control from your PC, but now they developed an iPhone application which you can control from anywhere on your netwok. Its $30 for the USB Missile Launcher and $3 for the application, but I think its pretty damn cool you can control from anywhere on the network.

PSE TAC-15, Tactical Assault Crossbow...

TAC-15 ‘Tactical Assault Crossbow’, the sort of crossbow designed for when aliens invade from another dimension. It actually replaces the upper receiver from an AR-15 so you can swap between assault rifle and crossbow with a little tinkering. The payoff is at the end when they sell you that it comes with a picatinny rail system. For, you know, when you need a grenade launcher on your crossbow.

I don’t know anything about crossbows, all I know is that I want this weapon with every fiber of my being. I think that because I am a man I want this weapon of choice, a powerful weapon which requires intense skills and precision to be able to use it, yet you think you are Rambo when you have this in your possession. I don’t know the reason this weapon would invoke such feelings, but it would be great to have, who cares about customs, there has to be a way to bring it through the borders.

Bulldog R/C Rider...

I’m wondering why people didn’t think of this before, is it such a crazy idea. I love R/C cars and this one is huge with all the bells and whistles for something its size. 110 Four strock engine, disc brakes, aluminum wheels, and an automatic transmission in such a fun R/C. You can’t control the car while somebody is riding it, that would have been a ton of fun. Approximate cost of this beast is in the $2000 range, I wouldn’t mind trying it out in R/C mode. I keep wondering how fast it will go and what would happen if you ram somebody with it.

Space Battleship Yamato Cruises into Leg...

This is probably the coolest Lego replica I have ever seen, this takes it back to the old days of the original dubbed Anime which was introduced to the West. It looks more like a work of art then made out of Lego pieces, I wish I had it and somewhere to store something like this, kudos to the artists behind it.

If anything represents Star Wars and the Rebel Alliance then it is this Fighter Plane. They have made the most detailed oriented model I have ever seen, and they are only making limited amounts of this model. Its is die cast and molded details looks identical to the real thing. It is a prize for any Star Wars fan to have, I’m one hoping to get my hands on it.

Nerf N-Strike Vulcan...

I don’t think there is a person who didn’t play with a Nerf Gun or a Water Gun at some point in their lives. This has to be the coolest Nerf Gun I have ever seen, it can fire three darts per second, also precision single shot is availabl. This Vulcan Nerf Gun can destroy your target and I think every person should have one.

Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann Diecast Robot...

I have been a fan of Gurren-Lagann since I finished the anime. It was amazing and I don’t mind watching it again since it gets my blood pumping. I’m always on the lookout for these high quality diecast models and I couldn’t believe when I cound it on Ebay so I bid for it right away. I’m crossing my fingers over the next couple of days, hopefully I will be getting it but its shipping from Hong Kong which might take 2 – 3 weeks.
