I think everyone knows how Mazinger is, well at least the kids from the 80s do but he has crossed many generations and I think we are especially familiar with him in Kuwait. Now that I managed to get my hands on a Fewture Great Mazinger 1969 Model, I was very excited, for those who don’t know Fewture makes THE coolest models, and they are almost all metal and are very high quality. I have this model for sometime but I wanted to place him in the perfect spot, somewhere I would see every day and enjoy it.
It took me about 30 minutes to unbox, clean, and put him together while taking the photographs and I think in my head I was waiting for him to come alive and to become a real gigantic robot, I still have a notion that one day I will be piloting a super robot. From my previous posts I have the Senshiro Jumaro Model and Ghost In The Shell – Tachikoma which is still one of my favorites.
This is just ridiculous, I didn’t even think that an RC Car can go this was, Traxxas make some fun RC Cars but this one is above and beyond what they have come up with. This is RC Super Car is even faster then a Real-life supercar, and its expensive for a RC Car too price at $1’150 which is on the high side. It’s capable of 100 mph speeds and boasts a 0-60 time of just 2.3 seconds, thats insane. The X0-1 features an aerodynamic body, a big block brushless motor, an integrated speed, RPM, temperature, and voltage telemetry system that works with an iPhone or iPod touch mounted in the controller’s docking base to give you unheard of control over your mini-ride, and heavy-duty AWD drivetrain so you don’t burn the thing up in the first weekend. From the looks of the video below you really do need a race track to drive this car, if it hits the wall at the speed its capable of say good bye to $1’150.

Street Fighter is still one of the coolest video games out there, the latest iteration on PS3 was amazing but I wasn’t good at it all, I need a lot of practice to get all the moves down and the counter moves. That said, I think Ryu is one of the coolest characters and Sagat is one bad ass fighter, he is big, and a damn good fighter. So I didn’t have to think about it when I saw this model, and the pictures don’t do it any justice at all.
I couldn’t have the real one so I went for the Lego version. Every once in a while I roam about Ebay searching randomly for things and sometimes I find some interesting items. Only this time around I found a Desert Eagle Mark XIV made out of Lego, it looked amazing, and it was a custom design from a Swedish seller. This called out to my inner child, I do love Lego and the I have to admit it was really cool so I bid for it and got it.
It got delivered about two weeks ago but the other day I was looking at it and decided to try to finish it one go. Thats my problem with Lego and other items, whenever I start something I have to finish it, I literally obssess over it and in this case it wasn’t so big so I knew I would finish it in a few hours. These instructions were a bit harder then usual but still excellent considering one guy put them together. I managed to put the Lego Desert Eagle together in about 3 hours, half the time was spent looking for the right part but at the end it looks insanely real.
Over the last year I have piled up a few boxes of Lego which have been sitting on the floor for about 8 months now. I get annoyed seeing the boxes on the floor but then I realize the time commitment required for me to finish them, and I hate to leaving something unfinished. Still I’m getting more and more anxious to work on these two Lego models first, I do have other one’s as well but these two are the one’s I have to see completed first. I have the space to place them right now, or at least one of them but after that I don’t think I have anymore space to place the other ones. Need to think of a solution, I seriously can’t get enough of Lego.
There is no question that I am huge fan of Bleach and especially Kurosaki Ichigo, the main character from the show. I have always been looking for the perfect display piece for Ichigo only to find that Square Enix made this amazing sculpture which surpassed the usual plastic models they make, and their models are usually impressive but this one is over the top with the details.
I really haven’t been following Bleach as much I should be, so I have no clue why Ichigo has a phoenix. But in any case, it’s totally badass so I approve. The face is very detailed, even though it has no real distinct facial details, it really gives off the impression of being made of fire. If you are a fan of the show then this is a must have for your collection even though its pricey at $500 but the quality the piece is clear.
The extent some of these Professional Lego Builders go to is amazing. This is probably one of the coolest custom LEGO builds I have seen to date. The Battlestar Galactica Spaceship is amazing and totally made out of LEGO. It weighs close to 25 Kilograms and about 2 meters long which is huge, this ship from the show is actually called Battlestar Berzerk. The interior of this ship had to be reinforced with another materials because the LEGO pieces started to bend and shear from the weight of this beast.
The ship is so large and heavy that it requires internal supports made from wood and steel – and that 54-pound weight doesn’t include the support structure. The support was required after parts started to bend and shear off the craft.

Rule the office airspace with HELO TC, the touch-controlled RC helicopter you control with your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
Griffin make the most interesting and convenient accessories for Apple Products, I wasn’t expecting them to come with helicopter controlled by your IOs device. And for $50 its very cheap and fun, you get to control it with any of your devices, through touch or tilt, I would prefer tilt.

Halo is one my favorite games, it never gets old playing this game, I’m even excited they are releasing the original Halo with updated graphics soon for XBox 360 with multiplayer. Now it seems Benny Brickster is also a huge fan of Halo to the extent that he has custom built a Pelican right out of Halo by just studying the design. I am always amazed at the skill of some of these custom builds, I wouldn’t have a clue where to start or how to put one together, check out his flickr gallery for more pictures.

Lego is coming out with another massive Star Wars Lego Piece and this one is massive! At 1.2 meters long weighing 3.2 kilograms this is one massive Lego model, comprised of 3,152 bricks and pieces it will take a long time to put this together. With several parts and attachments to this massive piece you will even have a Darth Vader in the mix, and for all who don’t know the Super Star Destroyer Executor is Darth Vader’s personal ship. They have really done this piece justice and I can’t wait to get my hands on it, going on sale September 1st for $400. I have to make sure I get it before it goes into a collector edition right away then it will triple in price right away.
