Ok I like cool PC cases just like anyone else, but I like the clean look.
This PC case is the best looking PC case that I have ever seen which isnt normal! I think this would look great behind my plasma screen. But Damn this looks cool!!!! And it has lost of space to do what you would like with it as well as all the adequate cooling! If I were to have this I would have to watch every Batman movie (no matter how bad), before I watch any other movie for the opening ceremony!!

More Pics and Info at Computer Choppers.
This is the new External HD from Maxtor which has a Gigabit Connection. A 500 GB 7200Rpm HD with a very clean AJAX (Google looking) Interface! It makes things really easy and makes streaming simple. Its more of a multimedia type Network Area Storage then a back storage on the network. But the one thing I worry about enclosure for Network Area Storages is if the hard drive fails! But it still looks sweet!!
I still think the Infrant NV is the way to go!

This is an amazing toy a man can have! I have gone sky diving before and its fun as hell. But No way close to as much as jumping out of a plane at 30’000ft and flying over 120 miles at 220 mph! Your going faster then most cars can go! This is the carbon fiber mono wings! You have your own are tank, and navigational equipment. Also there are compartments on these wings for weapons and ammunition! I hope they make commericial version of it! I would love to fly like that! And they are also thinking about putting rockets on those wings to fly even farther! I would be doing loops and diving trying to see how fast I can go! And if I dressed up like that I would have be James Bond!

Since I was in New York for a bit I wanted to go see the new Apple Store. And I was lucky, by chance I was there for the opening, but I thought I would avoid the lines and go a few days later! It is one of the most unique stores I have seen. Your going underground, but you dont feel like your underground. And at the time I was there the elevator got stuck with the people in it so I couldnt even use the cool looking elevator!
I dont have any apple products, but damn that MacBook looked good! And they were selling a lot of them, but the problem is the price they charge for upgrading! I was thinking of getting the black MacBook and upgrading the ram, but they wanted to charge 300 for an upgrade to 1 Gig Ram! I thought that was rediculous, but still it was hard not to buy the MacBook!! The Matt Black MacBook just looked so cool! And the place was huge! I just playing around with different Macs, and enjoying the atmosphere! You could hear music bouncing around in every direction and every type of music! Sometimes you feel the ground shake from some of the sound system that people were buying! And the lines at the cashiers were crazy! You have to wait a while to buy something! And I havent ever seen so many accessories in one place! It was huge! And all the apple people flying all over the place answering questions, and there was an area in the back called the genius bar if I remember correctly and they were working on the apple products and I think explaining to people how to use different things! Now thats an Apple Store!! If your ever in New York City then its really worth a visit! Pictures are worth a thousand words so I got a lot pictures!!
To say this place was packed is an understatement!
New York traffic Cop!! Had to take a picture of him!
Im going to run across the street and tackle everyone! Im so close to the Apple Cube!!!

Just in case you didn’t manage to catch Sony’s E3 presentation, or can’t handle scrolling through our liveblog of the event (though we can’t imagine why that would be the case), here’s what you need to know about the PS3 launch, straight from the conference floor: “Today we’re pleased to announce the global PS3 launch details. We will make PS3 available via a two-configuration plan. One with a 60GB HD. And the other with a 20GB hard drive. Japan’s date: Nov. 11. In Japan 59,800 Yen. The 60GB PS3 will have an open price which retailers will set. In North America [to launch Nov 17]: 20GB for $499, 60GB for $599. Europe has 20GB for 499 Euro, 60GB for 599 Euro. 2 million to ship worldwide during the launch window. 4 million by end of calendar year 2006. By March 31, 2007 they’ll have shipped 6 million worldwide.”
I cant wait for it! Its going to be fantastic! The controller doesnt have vibration in it like the dual shock 2. But we shall see what else they anounce!
I’ve looked around for VoIP type service. First thing I looked at was Vonage, but they required a lot of details that I didnt feel like providing. And i had to pay a monthly service charge. So there was a lot things I had to do to get the Vonage service which I didnt want to do.
The first alternative I found that suited my requirements is Skype.
Skype:
– A fixed number in the US.
– No yearly required fee except for phone number if required. (Which I got)
– I could use it on any computer.
I went with Skype because of the features it had, but like Mark I didnt like using headphones and a microphone so I went with Mark’s review from using the IPEVO. So I got the IPEVO and its a cool looking phone! Well designed and easy to use.
IPEVO:
+ Its easy to access your contact list from Skype
+ Programmable buttons through the IPEVO software
+ Very clear
+ Feels like a phone
– This part is the only bad point i think the IPEVO has. I dont know how it works with the mac, but on the PC when you connect the IPEVO it takes over all the audio components of the PC. So if you want to listen to music you have to listen through the IPEVO phone, which isnt meant for music. And even if you disconnect the USB connection from the PC it doesnt revert back to the PC Sound Card, so you have to restart the PC to listen to music or watch tv through the speakers.
Other then that its a very good service and a very good phone.
So I went to Professional Computer in Wala’a complex last night.. and since I was there I thought I would post some details that people were asking about over the past couple of weeks.
Phone Number:
Maxtor OneTouch II 300GB: 72KD
Maxtor OneTouch III 200GB: 58.5KD
Maxtor OneTouch III 1TB: 245KD (I want!!)
Seagate 400GB: 95KD
I love electronics! I probably dont need it, but damn I want more storage! lol
After going to multiple shops in Kuwait, and trying to come up with the best Home Theatre setup that I can afford, and one that can last me a while with out any upgrades! I went to Panasonic in Salmiya, and they had all the Denon Equipment, which was what I wanted to look at. But the problem I faced was uninformed sales people. Which causes me to doubt their capabilities. The person who is usually at the reciever section wasnt available at the time, so there wasnt anyone to answer my questions. So I was skeptical about them.
After doing a little research I found a place that was only for home theatres and home theatre equipment. The company is called ETC, and the owner is Nasser Al Shallal, great guy to talk to. He is completely into his equipment and he has a very nice setup. And has a lot of high quality items such as, Meridean Speakers, Mirage Speakers, Onkyo Recievers, Ready Home Theater setups, different types of projectors, plamsa screen mounts (the ones that swivel around completely), tables to place equipment or plasma screens, and he also has a few theatre rooms setup. When I was sitting in one of the theatre rooms he started playing the last battle seen from Lord of the Rings III. I completely forgot why I came, I just sat there watching the scene that I have seen many times and got lost watching it! It was fantastic! I felt like a complete idiot when he switched the lights back on! lol. Even his cabling is high quality, because a lot places get the equipment without quality wires!
