Monster Controller 300...

Monsteravl300.jpg

This is one amazing remote it does everything that the Logitech Harmony does and it also has access to the same database so you can load your equipment into the remote from the online database. On top of that it has the Omnilink system which controllers your lighting system in the house.

You can take a look at the review on Engadget below, and you can also see the list of items which work with it. And it isn’t an expensive system to equip in your house, since you can equip it to control the lights in your house.

It isn’t cheap but not too expensive either it goes for $600. I would like to get my hands on this at a later point but first I want to figure out how exactly the lighting control system works with the normal lighting.

Laser Etching...

laseretched2.jpg

This new company that came up in New York City called Adafruit Laser Services which etches images on any types of gadget you have a camera, a phone, an ipod, a shuffle, an mp3 player, and a laptop.

Its just like tattoo for laptops! It will never go away and they do an amazing job. You have to make an appointment to get your gadget etched which is like a high-end tattoo parlor. So the only place to do it at this point is New York since they don’t accept any mail oder equipment. I think thats the first thing I would do if Im in New York anytime soon. It would be pretty damn cool.

Its $100 for a laptop/power book, and $30 for smaller gadgets.

Sunlight Transportation...

paransunwire.jpg

If you have those rooms in the middle of a house or office which doesnt haven any natural lighting or window its usually constricting to some degree. For the first time this Swedish company came up with an ingenious idea of transporting the natural light through a wire called Sunwire. Paran is the Swedish company and I think that would be extremely succesful in helping to conserve energy and at the same time provide a different kind of lighting. Its fantastic, it work great in Kuwait, but I wonder how expensive it will be or how exactly it works.

Tourbillon...

IWCBP.jpg

It is basically an extremely well crafted type of watch, quite a few manufacturers make tourbillon type watches and one of my pet peeves are these types of watches. I usually like my to be industrial looking, and rough so that I wouldn’t be afraid to use and I do like nice watches. A good watch always catches my eye, and some of them really amazing.

Project-Z3.jpg

The pricing of these watches reflect the amount of work going into it. The price range of tourbillon watches is between $90’000 up to $1’000’000 and these watches most probably do not have any type of jewellery attached to it. I extremely dislike any male watch that is literred with jewellery I think they are very tacky.

Microsoft Zune Reviews...

Zune.jpg

I read two really informative reviews on the Microsoft Zune, and I have to say Im happy I dont own one. It some good features but at the same time there are issues with this product from Microsoft. Like usual when it comes from Microsoft it will have problems from day one, people were hoping that Microsoft would start from scratch with this, but there were issues.

The Zune is a player riddled with a lot of small issues — death by a thousand cuts. Do we think any particular one is a deal breaker? Well, even given our nightmarish software issues, not really. Do we think they should have worked out the kinks and sat out this holiday season? Probably, yeah. Do we think there’s potential for betterment of the platform and especially the player through software updates? Given enough time, absolutely. Would we recommend the product for purchase, like, right now? Not a chance.

N73 Speed Up...

I have had this phone for a little while now, and I think its the perfect size for my use with a lot of good features, but things that slow it down get to me. It drives me up the wall sometimes, but at last there has been update sent to me by my friend which speeds up the SMS system of this phone. I tried storing the SMS on the phone and on the memory card and it made no difference in speed in the beginning after I downloaded the file from my pc to the phone using the bluetooth, I installed it and restarted it and the sms became 80% faster! It was fantastic!

1) Click on link to Download

2) Transfer to Phone through: USB or Bluetooth

3) Click on File to Install

4) Try sending an SMS

dBi Monster...

dBi.jpg

Im adding this to my new Buffalo Router that I havent even opened yet. Its fantastic that I got all the pieces together. This way I can see how much better the connection will be across the house. I really want to get an outside antenna but that would require some drilling. I dont think they would be too happy about my drilling throug the window frame or wall just to increase the signal across the house! But if this antenna works out then I might try to figure out how I can get a high dBi antenna for the exterior so I can get the signal all the way to the basement. This is requiring a lot of testing and I feel like a complete nerd, and Im looking forward to it!

Robot Musuem...

When I saw this piece of news I knew I have to see this museum! I know Im a total nerd deep down, because its filled with Robots, and robots from different anime’s so it would look awesome.

Nexus Psile Media PC...

psile_black.jpg

This is a cool looking PC, its really slick and very compact. Its a Core 2 Duo, 320 GB Hard Drive, DVD Burner, but it only comes on Windows Media and no the only graphics output is through the mother board. You cant even install one if you wanted. I just thought it was a cool looking case, but extremely over priced. I could just go with a shuttle case and fully configure it without half the issues of this case. $1600 starting is just rediculous, but I still think the case is cool looking, thats what caught my eye!
