Making Progress...

As of a few weeks ago I started cutting back on food a few weeks ago now and I have officially gone to the gym more times in the past 10 days then I did the whole of last year. I have been going to Inspire gym and it really is named right, you feel motivated to work out, and I haven’t done this in a very long time. I pretty much worked out until the point I almost blacked out.

I feel good working out and it will take a couple of weeks for my body to get used to this because I haven’t done this in such a long time and I am EXTREMELY out of shape but I’m very determined to get there. I honestly dropped a few times, lost balance and landed hard on the floor, and I almost blacked out twice but I have a goal and I plan to achieve it.

As of today I dropped from 106.7 Kilograms to 103.6 Kilograms in two and a half weeks which isn’t too bad, I’m planning to drop 10 KG by the end of the a month. That is an achievable goal but I have to commit to it.

But what I felt today really through me off but still pulled myself together at the end:

  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Light Headedness
  • And Pain In Places I Never Felt Before
The Work Out Regime...

Yesterday was the first day I went to the gym as part of my plan, and I have lessened the amount of food I consume recently as well. Overall the plan is somewhat working, I feel a bit healthier and better overall because I’m sleeping lighter. Still I’m not even the same league as M.F.W since he is going over board with pretty much everything, he set his sights to destroy me in every way shape or form but I have plan to win.

After working out at C Club for about an hour I felt that I didn’t have the right type of direction or help that I need and recently I found out about a new gym called Inspire who have trainers who pretty much put you through your worst physical nightmare to get you into shape and on your time. People recommended Core and Sidekick to me, and they are excellent gyms but they aren’t for me. M.F.W trains every morning between 6 and 7 am and at Core Fitness then goes to the gym again after work then plays football twice a week, not including barely eating anything but protein at this point. He may have a head start on me but I am very good on planning and this time around I will execute these plans.

Trike Drifting...

Full grown men riding customized trikes and drifting them around the road is something you would think a 6 year old would love, and I agree 100% . Watching this video Trike Drifting is insanely cool and looks ridiculously dangerous, there are some close moments but looking at them having fun makes me want to try it out. This video is from the guys who made the Largest Rope Swing, I hope they keep coming up with more cool stuff.

One Huge Swing...

I think we have all had our fare share of large swings, but this one tops em all. Tying a rope across this ridge and swing through looks like an insane amount of fun, I keep wondering if anyone would hit the other side but everyone seems to make it through fine. I love how it was shot, the music fits perfectly, their might be other swings out there but this one is especially heart-stopping because it’s right up against the canyon. I have absolutely no idea how everyone isn’t in a hospital bed, but the Go-Pro footage makes me want to get out there and try it myself.

Base Jumping Off the Most Insane Pool in...

Singapore is known for a lot of things, one of them is their strict rules, organization, innovative business, cleanliness, and delicious food. What I wasn’t expecting was someone to jump off the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, I don’t know how much paperwork they went through to get this done and it is extremely intimidating to jump off a building. One time in my life I would like to try Base Jumping one time in my life but for now this video is fun to watch.

Mirage – The Full Experience...

30 Go Pro Cameras put this amazing video together of some extremely talented surfers. The waters just look amazing, and the videography itself is amazing, they really did a fantastic job of taking full advantage of all the cameras.

Rip Curl has again created a technological world-first by capturing full-tilt surfing action using a “30 camera Array” — a line of cameras firing consistently as surfers ride towards and past it. The results are unique “frozen moments of time” – that can be viewed in a combination of angles for a true in the round perspective.

Wakeboarding – Liquid Force Harley...

I have always been a fan of Wakeboarding and I remember trying it about 5 or 6 years ago and I liked it but never had the chance to do it again until recently. This summer I would wakeboard every weekend or any chance that I got. I love the feeling of being sore the next day, feels like a real workout. I would take 10 – 15 min breaks between sessions, I had a few hard falls but I still kept trying. Last week the bindings from my Loose Unit Wakeboard ripped off the board and stuck to my friends foot as he took a fall.

So I decided to pick up a real high quality wakeboard since I’m wakeboarding almost every weekend even though the water has been a bit on the rough side. So I called and Extreme Sport in Tilal carried Liquid Force which is one of the best wakeboarding manufacturers out there, and I am far from a professional but I would I get a comfortable board which is easy to maneuver and light, that is exactly what the Liquid Force Harley 143 is, and I got the Savon Bindings with it which were overkill for me because they held on too much. These bindings are meant for smooth waters so you have complete control over your board, in my case I wanted the open toe bindings which give you that extra leeway when moving around. And in this photo session Abdulla my friend was the guinea pig, lets just say we can’t recommend this board enough.

Parkour in Mardin – Turkey...

Parkour is one of the most amazing things to watch, I am still amazed by some of these people’s physical abilities to pull of impossible looking stunts. It is truly a work of art seeing parkour athletes perform, they really are the modern day ninjas. This video was shot in Mardin Turkey in an ancient city and it is beautiful, the mold between modern moves and ancient architecture is amazing.

MJ: How Quickly They Forget...

Scottie Pippen recently said that LeBron James may become the greatest player ever, check the ESPN article below. I think out of all people Scottie Pippen would know better, I for one am a huge fan of Michael Jordan a name known the world over, just like Michael Jackson – MJ, Michael Jordan brought basketball to the world arena. I am not a huge fan of the NBA but I always enjoyed watching it when its on TV, and Michael Jordan is one of those players that made it that much more entertaining. I remember even back in the day I used to have a denim jacket with the Bulls Logo stitched on to it with the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets. Michael Jordan redefined Basket Ball winning 6 championships with the Chicago Bulls, we loved them as kids and didn’t watch all the games, Michael Jordan reached people across the globe, LeBron James will not be able to do what he has done.

Tempest Freerunning Academy...

Parkor and Freerunning is one of the coolest physical sports that I have seen, they are like modern day ninjas with what they do. Now Tempest is a new Academy in a LA and their training wharehouse looks like one giant video game, this is one of the coolest videos I have seen in a while, it feels like a Nintendo video and especially at the end when all the foam pieces is flying around.
