Plot Summary: Renton Thurston is a 14-year-old boy who lived with his mechanic grandfather in a backwater town. Every day he dreamed of being with the mercenary “Light Finding Operation (LFO)” aircraft pilot group “Gekkostate” and riding “Trapar” particle waves– a sport called “reffing”– with their charismatic leader Holland, especially when faced with his father’s acclaimed past or his grandfather’s desire to protect him. When a young girl named Eureka riding the original LFO, the “Nirvash typeZERO”, asks his grandfather for a tune-up, she inadvertently brings the attention of the military to the garage; as a result, the garage is destroyed and Renton is forced to deliver a new type of interface– the “Amita Drive”– to the Nirvash. After a heated fight in which the Nirvash destroys the military LFOs by unleashing an immense amount of power, Renton is invited into Gekkostate. However, he quickly realizes that behind the facade of a traveling group of mercenaries is a very bitter reality.

I have to say when I first saw the cover of the movie, I didnt think it was going to be any good. Its about a man who lost faith in the Gulf War during 1990, and then he had to go back to his family in the mob after leaving the marines. It was an interesting cast of people, James Marsden (Cyclops from X-Men) and Piper Perabo are two people I do like, the one guy I really dislike is Giovanni Ribisi, he gets on my nerves for some reason. This isnt the best story in the world like a Mario Pucci story or something, but this is a pretty good mob story and I really enjoyed the different way they went about it. Tommy (Marsden) is in a tough position and he has to save his family and be a rat to help them out. Even though he is a smart person he has to help out those closest to him, but not everything goes so smoothly. It would be a movie you would watch once, and thats about it.

I have been looking forward to watching this movie for a while since it has motorcycles in the movie, and its a movie with Athony Hopkins. Its a true story about a man who wants to break the land speed record on a motorcycle. This an amazing story about a man who wanted to achieve his dream no matter what is the case. Anthony Hopkins plays his character amazingly, coming out of Australia in the 1940s to race his Indian Motorcycle on the Bonnevile Salt Lake Flats. The thing that I found extremely great was his ability to help people and for people who want to help him out, who believe in him. His stubbornness and kindness helped him get where he wanted, there wasnt an obstacle that he couldnt overcome. Anthony Hopkins played Burt Munro so well that you really believed in the guy, you wanted him to achieve his goal in any way possible. So I really recommend the movie for someone who wants a really endearing story.

Plot Summary: Fourteen years after defeating the immortal warrior Himuro Genma and thwarting the Shogun of the Dark’s evil plans, Kibagami Jubei continues to roam all over Japan as a masterless swordsman. During his journey, he meets Shigure, a priestess who has never seen the world outside her village. But when a group of demons destroys the village and kills everyone, Jubei becomes a prime target after acquiring the Dragon Jewel – a stone with an unknown origin. Meanwhile, Shigure – along with the monk Dakuan and a young thief named Tsubute – travels to the village of Yagyu. And with two demon clans now hunting down Shigure, Dakuan must once again acquire the services of Jubei to protect the Priestess of Light.

This is one of the series that I really enjoyed and wished that they made more episodes! This series came out years after the original Ninja Scroll Movie came out years ago. The storyline doesnt follow the original story completely but it does have the same demons fighting to get the Dragon Jewel. Jubei is the main character, who is an extremely skilled swordsman taking out demon after demon protecting Shigure. Jubei is pretty funny, and he is roaming around with his rat pack trying to accomplish their mission. The storyline is great, and the animation is extremely well done, they did a really good job with the dubbing. I really recommend it for those who like ninja story lines with amazing animaion.

Now this book was an interesting read, at first its starts off with the MacKenzie’s in Shanghai. Their parents went missing on a mission in asia, and they have been bouncing around from family member to family member. Doug and Becca are a handful until they land in their uncle’s ship in south east asia. This story is all based in the 1920s with secrets in the shadows, and people looking for something. This story was a bit weird in the beginning but there is so much scientific knowledge and history intertwined with this story its amazing. They have to meet pirates, secret guilds, break rules, and follow their insticnts to help them get closer to their parents. This is the first volume of a trilogy, and I have to say I cant wait for the other three! Its torture when you want to know whats happening and cant get it! But such a colorful story, and you feel like your in the jungles of asia in the 1920s with your biege jungle attire. This book was so good that I really am not sure if its a fiction or non-fiction at this point.

Now this an interesting movie with a great bunch of characters. I thought it was going to be a bit of a flop, but when I saw who was acting in it I knew it was going to be hilarious. It starts off with the guys at the airport, 5 guys each of different character. The shinanigans start and they really never end. If your looking for a movie with the usual Bachelor Party story line, then this isnt it. Its the complete opposite, things going crazy and you cant stop laughing at these guys! I watched it with my friends and I have seen it a second time. Its light and extremely entertaining. If you want comedy then this would be it.

This was interesting movie, at first I just started playing it with the guys thinking that its a Ben Affleck movie and he has been making crap movies for the past five years. I thought that it wouldnt be that bad. So we just popped it in just as Kabab-Ji made their delivery. We started the movie and there is also a pretty interesting cast such as Rebbeca Romijn, Kal Penn, John Cleese, and Gina Gershon. This is one interesting combination of a cast! Affleck is the main character but his character wouldnt have come out as good as he did without these characters around him to give him depth. Its a very funny movie and an extremely meaningful movie. He has secrets he has to keep, and through a journal class he is taking for reasons unknown to others he documents the secret, and people get their hands on it. A huge mess arises from it, and through all this he is really going through an extreme case of self discovery you start to relate to the guy in one form or another. For once I didnt think that Ben Affleck was an idiot and the movie was pointless. It just shows you the teeth of show business in the bustling life of Hollywood. I really recommend this movie, and its really enjoyable. I have to say that Rebbeca Romijn is so hot especially in this movie, and Gina Gershon is so hot in that evil kind of way.

This is one of those movies that you watch at least once. It isnt a blockbuster movie, but its very entertaining. Im not that found of Tyrese’s acting, but I am of Meagan Good since she is rediculously hot. This an action movie with guns blazing and people getting knocked out. A man who will stop for nothing to save his son, the story line is cool. The action is pretty good, dont expect an oscar for the acting but still really entertaining. Its one of those movies that you just watch once and you really enjoy it. They do have a good sound track playing in the movie. If you like hip hop/action movies then I recommend this movie for those people.

Plot Summary: The year is now 2041 AD. A new enemy called Zeravire suddenly appears in the solar system, destroying all military installations it comes across. However, a wealthy man named Klein Sandman is already aware of this planned invasion and had been secretly preparing his army for battle. His trump card is Gravion, a giant robot that utilizes gravity as its source of energy. Meanwhile a young man named Eiji secretly enters Sandman’s base in search for his missing sister. It is there that he meets another young man by the name of Toga… These two must now fight together with four other individuals aboard the super robot, Gravion to fend off the Zeravire threat.

This is a cool Mecha anime with an interesting story. You have a group of people with a leader who seems to have technology to fight an Alienrace that is trying to annialate the human race. And the human race is completely dependent on them since they dont have the developed milatary technology to fight them. Sandman is their charismatic leader who has a bit of mystery surrounding him. Eiji is a loud, arrogant, stubborn guy who is looking for his sister who he last knew was in Sandman’s castle. So he joins them and becomes part of the team, but he is still searching for his sister between the fights. Its one entertaining anime and there is a lot sexual comedy involved since Eiji, Toga, Sandman and one more are the only men in a huge castle filled with female mechanics, maids, cooks, and female fighter pilots. If your looking for an entertaining mecha anime then this is what you should see, it doesnt have a deep story but its entertaining.

I have been using this head set for almost two years now everyday when I drive and when Im on the computer and cant really pick up the phone. I use this headset, and its relatively light. I know there are smaller ones out there right now. I tried some Nokia’s and ended up returning them because I didnt like the sound quality. I even tried the Jabra JX-10 which I kept hearing good reviews, but I really didnt like it. Because i got used to the BT-500. I think the BT-500 is so good because of the gel insert that goes into your ear and a four to five day battery life with normal use. And I use it a lot since I drive a manual and while Im on the computer or in the office. I have used it so much over the years that now the battery only lasts two days at most and I got used to it lasting a long time. After two weeks of searching I found it in Khalid Bin Waleed street for 30 KD. I really recommend this headset, but I know people might like its size, but its performance and quality out weigh its size in my opinion.
