I had a feeling this movie was going to be good, but I wasnt completely sure. Kevin Costner has had a few misses the past couple of movies and I wasn’t sure about Ashton Kutcher in this movie, but I have to say that I was pleasently surprised. A few people kept recommending this movie to me and I have to say that its a pretty good movie about Costner being the Veteran Coast Guard and Kutcher being the new hot shot in the Coast Guard. It is all about what people go through in this line of work and the relationships they form. In kuwait there were only a few cut scenes but it didnt have a bad affect on the movie. You get pulled into the story and you will really like the characters.

I seem to have a liking for dance movies, and some might not have the best story line or dancing. But this movie has a decent story line and fantastic dancing! And it has a better storyline then most dance movies I have seen yet. I really enjoyed the main character since I think he fit the character like a glove. Secondly when a movie has an amazing sound track that helps a greatly, and I noticed every time that my feet were moving on its own to the beat. I wish I could dance half as good as some of the people in this movie. I really like how they used hiphop in this movie, it made it that much more entertaining for us. I really recommend this movie for whoever likes this type of movie, dont miss it if you have the time.

I heard that this movie was funny, but I wasn’t expecting much since Will Ferrel doesn’t make a great movie everytime. I had a feeling it would be funny, but I wasn’t sure how funny though. The movie was better then I predicted because Will Ferrel fit the character like a glove. It was hysterical since everyone’s lives revolved around racing and their attitudes towards racing and the american way. The part that was hilarous was Ali G’s part in the whole movie, he was Will Ferrel mortal enemy and this whole movie is just funny as hell. It was well made, and the actors fit their parts. If you like Will Ferrel then you will love this movie, and love him in this movie.

After reading Company I really liked Max Barry’s style and so I decided to get another book of his, and I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed. It is one great book, and an entertaining read. You get immersed into this book so much so that you think that your part of this other dimension, and you understand how he presents the state of world and how people lead normal lives. Consumerism is of the highest priority in this world, and the corporate world is just as powerful as the government, and its an intricate balance. Jennifer is one the main characters in this book but you get introduced to other characters who are also extremely important. What I love about his style is his ability to slowly take different parts and enticingly tie them together to make for a riveting story.

Plot Summary: Mugen is a fierce animal-like warrior with a unique Bboying (break-dance) inspired fighting style. Jin has a more traditional style but don’t think of this as a weakness because his skills are amazing. The two contrasting samurai warriors are far from friends, yet their separate paths seem to cross anyways. Mugen is wandering aimlessly through the city when he stumbles upon a teahouse where he meets Jin and Fuu (A ditzy waitress, but don‘t think she doesn‘t have anything hidden up her sleeves). Fuu convinces them both to come with her in search of a mysterious samurai that smells like sunflowers and their journey begins. This modernized hip-hop tale breaks the barriers of the common, historical, samurai anime.
Samurai Champoo is one of the best animes I have seen in a while, the animation itself is different and the fusion of different styles is fantastic. The Japanese era mixed in with some HipHop style and presented in a fantastic manner. Three companions are tied together by this journey and each of one them is completely different from the other. Mugen is wild one, Jin is the cool headed samurai, and Fuu is the girl stuck between the two trying to find her father. It really is a great samurai tale which is extremely enjoyable. In my opinion its a revolutionary anime since they approached the story completely differently then see before, and I loved the beats in the series. You never get bored of the story because its anything but conventional and its extremely entertaining. That is why its one of my top ten animes.

Im the type of person to really beat the crap out of something before giving it my seal of approval. And this DAP has my seal of approval. Im really picky about mp3 players since I totally dislike using MP3 players that force me to use their software to put music on their mp3 player. I dont mind a piece of software that helps format certain things to play on it, but not to be forced to use it. This DAP (Digital Audio Player) fits the bill.

This was an entertaining movie, and I had a bit low expectations for it. It was a bit of conflict for me, I like Kate Hudson, but Im not much of a fan of Owen Wilson or Matt Dillon. But it turned out to be better then I expected, and my Michael Douglas added just enough flavor in this movie to make it funny. It was about a new couple trying to get things right in the beginning and Owen (the best man) trying to get his life together. Its a funny rollercoaster and how married lives could vary. Overall its an entertaining movie and worthwhile to watch.

Plot Summary: Aoba is a young girl who loves to build models of robots. She lived alone with her grandmother until her grandmother passes away. Shortly after she is kidnapped and brought to a secret base where she discovers a huge robot. The piloted robots fight against Ancient-Jinki in The Grand Savanna, but the true meaning behind the fights is hidden. Aoba works hard at the base so one day she can pilot one of the robots and discover these secrets.
Mecha anime sometimes follow a usual theme, and its very entertaining watching the use of powerful mechs. But this anime takes a completely different angle, and its all about the pilots and the lives that revolves around them. This anime does a little jumping between lives and you move from the main characters to other characters who become the main characters as its phasing through. Between Aoba and Akanao the story shifts and then it unites them in the end, at the end all the pieces come together like a good story should, and I really like that. Towards the end its about the team, and what each and everyone of them is fighting are fighting for, two sides to the same coin. I really enjoyed this short and sweet anime, it was only 12 episodes.

Plot Summary: Seven schools are constantly ‘at war’ with each other, and the students within – both male and female – have become skilled fighters and constantly battle with rival schools. Their lives and fates are guided by strange jewels that contain the spirits and destinies of warriors from the Sangokushi period. One girl, Sonsaku Hakufu, has recently moved to Japan and is apparently destined to unite the schools as her counterpart united seven countries long ago. But, like all heroes, there is a darker side to her fate, and as always there is a constant struggle by those around her to break the chains of their own destinies and make their own lives.
At first I wasnt sure how this anime was going to be and I do like the type of fighting and this probably has an interesting story line. It seems that these highschool student’s lives are predetermined by the “Magatama” or soulstones that they carry and which schools they are affiliated with. Its an interesting story line that every student in these schools is a certain type of fighter, and the clumsy Hakufu is the supposed to be King of these fighters and she will rule over her domain. This fighting anime is filled with comedy, nudity, and a lot of action. Its funny how when fighting these girls strategically keep ripping articles of clothing while fighting for their honor. Overall this anime is pretty funny with all the comedy going through it but its for a mature audience and they do a lot fanfare to the semi-nude scenes, but that aside the fighting is pretty good and the action is entertaining.

This is one movie that is filled with twists and plots in the criminal world. Suppliers, Sellers, and Buyers with all the money in between. This movie is where I think Daniel Craig is doing an amazing job as a criminal who you would like. The action is non-stop it has the same type of feeling you get from watching Robert Deniro’s Ronin. You cant figure out who is with you, who is against you, and who is selling you out. And there is the idiot who is screwing everything up since that moment everybody is pointing a gun at everybody else. The story line is fantastic, and I think its great british movie with the right amount of action and suspense.
