Plot Summary: Hellsing follows the antiheroic vampire, Alucard, and a police girl-turned-vampire, Seras Victoria, two vampires employed by the vampire-extermination group of England, the Hellsing Organization. Slowly but surely, through their active duty, they find a new breed of vampires beginning to arise.

Watching Hellsing is really interesting since you get into this anime as the Hellsing organization represents the protestants in England. And the Catholic Church despise them and consider everywhere to be their jurisdication. This is a noir type anime with vampires and lots of blood, but this isnt just it, there is an underlying story that you slowly find out as you watch this anime and keeps pulling you in more and more. Alucard is the most mysterious character since he is a demon for a vampire and he serves the humans and is the Hellsing Organizations’ Trump Card. It is a battle with the vampires and clashes with the Vatican, its one hell of anime and by the end of the 13 episodes you want more and want to see more. I really enjoyed it.

Plot Summary: Throughout the passage of time and the shifts in backgrounds, a particular war continues to leave its mark on history, extending its influence into the modern world. There are two major groups involved in the ensuring war. The first group consists of monsters known as Chiropterans who can change their appearances into that of human beings. They are actually immortals who feed on the blood of the living. The second group is an organisation known as the “Red Shield”, formed to track down these monsters and exterminate them. Otonashi Saya is a high-school girl who lives a peaceful life with her family. The only problem is, she has no recollections of her life beyond that of the past year. However, her happy life will be destroyed by an event that will lead her to her destined fate.

This was a bit of a long anime about Saya who is one is the queen of the Chiropterans, and her sister Diva who is also another queen. Diva is trying to fill the world with her Chiropteran and she only has sense of destruction, chaos, and dispair. Saya loves her family and wants to protect her friends. The story does have tragedy and action with a lot of drama, but I felt it was a little too long it could have been warpped up a little faster. There is a lot a blood shed but it is a really good anime and I really enjoyed it. You get pulled into Saya’s life and her friends and how Kai develops throughout the anime, you just keep getting pulled in more and more into it and want to see where the conclusion is, and I have to say I was satisfied, but I wish the pace was a little faster.

I got this book as a recommendation from Max Barry since I enjoy his tastes in books. This is the story of an autistic boy named Christopher Boone who is trying to discover who killed the dog, and he tries to figure out prime numbers and multiples of two to calm down. He goes through this world as if it is a shock to his senses. This is a smartly funny and very heart felt story about the young man and living his life. You want to see how he goes about doing things we take for granted, and how difficult it is for an autistic person to understand emotion so he finds it easy to understand animals and numbers since they are logical. Your heart goes out to the young man and his family and you really are viewing things from his point of view. This book has broadened my outlook and my hat goes off to the other for making such as simple story so reviting by giving it from the point of view from this young man, and what his family goes through is what many go through but also they are very understanding towards him. This isn’t a book you pick up everyday, but worth a read because you really do feel you were touched as well as learning something new. It’s an easy story to read but it will have a lastin affect.

This was the first time I even thought about having Fuddruckers for over 10 years ago, I thought the quality of their food decreased dramaticatlly. The other night while at my cousins’s home we were hungry and he recommened Fuddruckers so I thought why not, its not like I could come up with anything else. So we ordered to go while finishing up what we were watching. We got the food and it still was pretty hot, we got it from the Fuddruckers in Dahia Abdulla Al Salem. I was really looking forward to it, because I remember the spot is very clean and for it to survive in that area I bet it has to be good.

I ordered a 1/2 lb Cheeseburger with Cheddar Cheese and grilled Onions, and that is what I got. We also ordered some chicken wings, fries, and onion wings, and my cousin got a cheese burger. So I chewed into the burger and I have to say that this was an extremely juicy burger and the grilled onions were done right. The buns of the burger were very soft as well, all together its a decent size burger and I chewed through it very quickly. I was surprised how good this burger was and I will be going back consistantnly.

I kept lots praises for this movie, and so I decided to watch this movie about Idi Ameen the “President” of Uganda. I didn’t know what exactly to expect but it starts off with Dr. Garrigan leaving Scotland to do humanitarian work in Uganda, going to a mission to help out as the second doctor. As things play out he meets President Idi Ameen, and things get interesting from there. This man is a Scottish Doctor and he likes things given to him straight and giving it straight, he hasn’t been used to the poiltical scene before. It gets really intense as the movie goes forward you get to see the real side of Idi Ameen, and all the twists and plots in this movie. I have to say that there were times where I was completely in shock of how unstable this man is, and what the dear Doctor got himself into. I don’t want to ruin this movie for anyone but it does have its slightly gory moments, and its extremely worth seeing. For a movie being this good, its shocking that this is a true story.

This was a movie I really wanted to see since it showed the perspective of the US Prisoners had in the Japanese camps, and this one was in the phillippines. James Franco and Benjamin Bratt are the two main actors in this movie, James Franco is known as the James Dean look a like and I really enjoy his acting. Especially in this movie he did a really great job acting out his part. This movie is split into two story lines, those men who want to save the US prisoners in the Prison Camp, and the men in the Prison Camp. There are better movies out there but overall this is a good movie and entertaining.

I dont think there is game series with more fans then Final Fantasy and so most everyone is very familiar with the different story lines and the complexity of the ideas behind it. I remember playing Final Fantasy with my cousin on PS one until morning light during the weekend, we had many sleepless nights because of it. This follows Cloud after a big event has taken place, even a person who doesn’t follow the series will extremely enjoy this animation. A few years back the Life Force attacked the earth and so only ruins were left but people survived, but people were hurt from the Geostigma. And its seems Cloud is also affected by this Geostigma, there doesn’t seem to be a cure for this. Then things get hectic because three unknown men show up who are powerful and they are looking for the remenents of Jenova, so they can find what they are looking for. The story line is simple enough to follow but if you had all the background information it would be even better. The one thing about this whole animation is the beauty of the animation itself, and the amazing battle scenes. This animation wraps up the story line and answers questions while being one the CG animations I have ever seen.

Rocky has a lot of sentimental meaning to all of us since we grew up watching these movies and we didn’t want it ruined by a new movie that might be try to milk a great franchise movie. I thought it wasn’t going to be too bad and I was afraid that they might try to make Rocky look like he was invincible in this movie. This movie turned out to be better then I expected, you really feel good about Rocky and how he is living his life. This movie is a lot about the Rocky back in the day and his iron will. This isn’t a movie trying to sell on its history, you feel that it has a bit of closure and Rocky does his thing. I felt good after watching it.

This is about a bunch of young American men training to be pilots in WWI to fight for the French before America entered the war. This is a true story and a well done movie, with a great cast of actors. Each one of these men come from different parts and for different reasons. They came to make a change and to have an affect, and their captain is Jean Reno who is the perfect character for this. They are all training to be great pilots, and they realize that they will loose their comrades when they have their first dog fight, its the scenes from the Dog Fights which mesmerize you in the movie. It is a bunch of American guys who are learning to live with each other and care about each other to do great things and fight for a reason. Everytime they take flight it is a hell of an adventure.

Tenchi is one the first anime’s I was watching back in the early 90s, and it has a special spot for me. For those who don’t know Tenchi was just a normal kid, but had an extraordinary backgroun that he doesn’t even know about. And slowly each one of these women that surround him is attracted to him and wants to stay with him. He think he is just normal, but he has other powers to protect his friends and family. This anime just really brings back good memories and this specific series of Tenchi Muyo wraps up the whole series by answering a lot of the questions you have during all the series, and it explains a lot of the reasons why they are all there, but it isn’t an ending really but a satisfying explanation. I think I’m going to purchase the whole series after watchin this, it really brought back good memories of an extremely entertaining, but you should be familiar with the Tenchi Series to watch this.
