Plot Summary: One night, Kazuki Muto jumps in to try to save what he thinks is a girl in distress from a monster and instead gets impaled through the heart. The girl, Tokiko, is actually an alchemic warrior with a Busou Renkin, name of Valkerie Skirt, with the mission to exterminate Homunculi. She implants the only other successful work of alchemy than the Homunculus, the Kakugane, to take the place of Kazuki’s heart. The Kakugane resonates with his fighting spirit and forms a Busou Renkin (in his case a spear) so he can fight the Homunculus monsters who prey on humans. Kazuki joins with Tokiko to battle with the Homunculi and protect his friends and his sister Mahiro.

Busou Renkin is a story revolving around a student named Kazuki who fell into a conflict between warrior alchemists and homonculus monsters. These homonculus have to consume humans to survive, and the warrior alchemists fight them to stop them. There is a darker secret which is slowly unveiled but it has lots of action and comedy, and you slowly see the deeper storyline as time progress. An action anime with a character you can’t help but like, and its an easy anime to watch and enjoy. Busou Renkin itself is the weapon manifestation of the alchemists power through the Kakugane. If you liked Full Metal Alchemist then you will find this enjoyable.

This is one of funniest of the whole Rush Hour series of movie, this has just the right amount of comedy and action with a storyline that you can enjoy it. This has more comedy then Rush Hour 2, and the comedy is fresh with a tie to the original Rush Hour. Chris Tucker is just as funny, his character has developed in this movie because time has passed by and they are still good friends. Jackie is protecting his old boss but he is almost assassinated so he must track down the Triad which leads them into Europe. They are pulled into something bigger then what they expected, but it just keeps getting funnier as they barely avoid getting killed every time. If you liked the original Rush Hour then you will love this movie and it is a perfect end to this set of movies.

This is one of the most riveting anime stories ever told, and you are kept on your toes throughout every episode. Each one keeps getting better and better. Yagami Light discovers a notebook, which seems rather normal until he reads the content which describes it as a Death Note, a notebook of Shinigami (A Death God). And if he writes a person’s name there and he has an image of his face then that person will die of a heart attack unless otherwise specified differently. This is a very twisted and action packed anime about a young man who is given the power to kill at his will just by writing a persons’ name down. Things get very intense as he is challenged by one of the most intelligent investigator in the current century and Yagami is also on the same level of intelligence. That person is known as L, and Yagami is given the name Kira since they do not know his real name. From the start it is Kira vs. L and thing progress in a way which leaves you no idea what is the next step. This is one of the best animes ever made and should be watched by any person who remotely likes anime, you want nothing but to watch it from end to end but you are not satisfied when it finishes since it is so damn good.

This is a different sequel to Bruce Almighty in which Jim Carrey was a man who got in touch with God, and things just went crazy from there. In this movie God approached Evan Baxter (Steve Carell) to get his message across in Washington. Carell is one funny character, just the man you want for this situation and I really enoyed him from 40yr Virgin. He is told to build the Ark, and to save the animals from a flood, and everyone thinks he has gone over the top at this point. Morgan Freeman plays the role of God in this movie and plays the same character as the previous one. All the things that happen to Baxter are nothing short of hilarious and you just follow along as his role unfolds. Its an entertaining move to watch, and worth watching if you like Steven Carell.

I stopped by the Avenues the other day since it was close to a meeting we had and so we decided to go in to get a bite to eat. We really had a lot of choices but we decided to go with Noodle Factory even though I heard some very mixed opinions and most of them not too good. I think the whole design and location attracts you to it so we decided to go for it. I am going to say this from the beginning, it was a mistake to go there and there were so many other food choices to go with. I really wanted to try a lot of different items they had since they had a large selection of mixed Eastern Foods. They had Thai, Malaysian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisines which seemed like I could order what I want. We were relatively hungry and between us we got a nice selection. First off the food was soggy at some points, bland in others, sometimes tasteless, and some points we couldn’t eat it. They are trying to do too many things at one time and they aren’t good at anything. I should have listened to all the other reviews, avoid Noodle Factory.

This is one interesting movie with some very disturbing twists. When things just aren’t going well for some people, people with different backgrounds but the same situation, the country has failed them, their law has failed them, This movie is made up of some very interesting characters who give it a different taste. The law has failed them and they have taken matters into their own hands turning London and the surrounding area into their own backyard. They punish those they see as guilty, and they attack the criminals at their vitals points. All this and the law is always one step behind them. Its a really good movie if you like the criminal type movies, and its interesting to see these combination of actors, really worth seeing.

I have really been looking forward to seeing this Pixar movie, and usually I have high expectations for them. This movie is an extremely funny movie about a rat who goes to Paris to become a chef. He doesn’t realize the difficulty of the whole concept but he is determined to reach his goal, the funny part is how he reaches this goal. Remy has the talent to be a great chef, but he is a rat. Linguini is the boy who works at the restaurant and has no cooking skills and he is too afraid to try. Together they partner to make some amazing creations but there is something brewing with the head chef. The whole movie was enjoyable from start to finish and you can’t help but love all the characters, even the different rats. If you like Pixar movies then you will love this movie, I can’t see how anyone can’t enjoy this.

I went to Slider Station for the first time with the Family a couple of nights ago. I have been hearing a lot about it and how good these sliders (min-burgers) taste great and they have a large selection. I tried previously just walking in but they said they were booked up for the week so I didn’t bother going there again until the hype goes down, but I was invited so I didn’t have to make too much of an effort.

Overall I really like the setting and style of the whole place, they did a very good job with the bar seating and revolving belt which has burgers and orders. I like the industrial style to the whole place, but it does feel a bit cramped since bar seating takes up a lot of space. Overall there are only five tables available and the bar seating can seat about 14 to 16 people.

The one thing I really liked was the choice of music, its a combination of dance and lounge which I really enjoyed. Overall the setting is nice, the seating on the upper floor is quite comfortable as well.

When they started bringing the food I was looking forward to trying the different sliders they had as well as whatever else was on the menu. They brought the fries out and the different appetizers which were pretty good but the duck quesadillia wasn’t good at all. When ordering the sliders you order these little guys individually so you can mix it up a bit. When we got our sliders I devoured each one with two bites, and most of them were very tasty except for one. There desert was very good, and people just kept going at it, and its worth saving some space for it.

I think they put a lot of effort into Slider Station and it shows, I just hope they keep up the level of quality they have.

I needed an FM transmitter for my Treckstor Vibez Mp3 player, and I had a few choices to choose from but I decided to go with the Griffin iTrip Auto Universal. I wanted something I could use in multiple vehicle and had a strong signal as well as being compact. The Griffin iTrip fit all those criteria, its very simple to use, you have one controller to tune to the channel you want and then click of a button to activate it. It switches on when your Mp3 player is switched on and it switches off when your mp3 player switches off.

Signal Strength:

Just to give you an idea, if a high quality CD would be a 10 in sound quality then this signal would be from a 7.0 to 7.5. It is pretty good but I would prefer if it had a stronger transmitter sometimes there is a bit of white noise on some songs but it is very subtle so it isn’t very annoying.
