Justice League Unlimited continues where Justice League left off, and since they producers were successful with the Justice League they were going to expand and experiment with this series. In this part of the series the Justice League has increased in size to incorporate many superheroes of different talents, the original seven are referred to as the “founding members”. This series is different then the original in that there is a developing plot line followed throughout the whole series of the Justice League dealing with a secret government agency called Project Cadmus. And then later on they are faced with the League of Doom. And you get to see the darker sides of many of the members and what could really happen with them. Its a fantastic addition to the Justice League series, you get to see different parts of Superman and the Green Lantern. They also go into episodes with different superheroes to develop the plot line even more of an underlying power. The best part is their involvement of different superheroes that you get an understanding of their background and the roles they play in the JLU Universe. For those who even remotely like Justice League I really recommend this series, I really couldn’t get enough and I wish there more. The ending was good but I was hoping they would continue the series.

Plot Summary: Devil May Cry follows the adventures of the demon hunter Dante who himself is half demon and half human. Dante is hired through his own business named “Devil May Cry”. The characters are based off of the popular capcom playstation 2 games.>
This anime is based off of the successful Capcom game, Devil May Cry. Dante is the central character but the show has some repeating characters and starts off introducing Dante as the Demon Hunter, and he saves Patty who becomes attached to him. The story doesn’t have a clear plot that it follows through the whole 12 episodes, the one thing is that Dante always takes interesting jobs hunting devils, and he is always in debt no matter how much these jobs pay. Morrison bring these jobs to his shop at Devil May Cry, and sometimes he has help from Trish and Lady who pop in every once in a while. This anime is action packed and entertaining, it doesn’t completely follow a plot but towards the end things start pulling together for one hell of an ending. Dante is a character that you enjoy, and the action is varying in different episodes so that you see the different sides to Dante. Overall a very enjoyable anime and short enough to make it really entertaining.

Plot Summary: Loosely based on the novel ‘Romance of the three kingdoms’, modern day Japan sees a similar struggle for power between different rival schools with the three strongest being; Kyosho Academy led by Sousou Moutoku, Nanyo Academy by Sonsaku Hakufu and Ryuubi Gentoku from Seito High School. Together these three tousei, each with their own mangatama, fight for the honour of becoming ikki tousen and fulfilling their fated destiny through battle and conquest.
This is anime continues where Ikkitousen left off, its still all about the souls within all these student fighters. This really does pick up where the original left off but this time it isn’t about character development, they jump right into the story. As well as all the action going on you find a lot of fanfare in the story. There is just the same amount of nudity in this series as there was in the original Ikkitousen, but with this the story playing out between Nanyo, Seito, and Kyosho. Due to circumstances of the situation Nanyo with Seito have to face Kyosho, and they are all haunted by their destiny of their past, that is something that can not be escaped by these fighters or Toshi. This story answers some questions and you get to see some spectacular fights as well as getting an interesting ending. Its a fun anime if you enjoy martial arts and a little fan fare.

Plot Summary: In an overbuilt world, young Zed dreams of freedom and of a door. While fleeing the authority of his world, he is transported to a completely different place, a world of nature instead of machines. There he meets the young girl Roia and learns that he is a Shard Caster. He can cast Shards and control “Spiritsâ€. Unbeknowst to Zed, his best friend Noah has also travelled to the new world. Noah and Zed become enmeshed in the ways of their new world, while growing into their new abilities.
This is a story about Zed being transported into a different world because he is looking for strength, but not sure what kind of strength. In this anime the fighters called shard casters control spirits which is a part of them, and if they are beat they can lose these spirits to their rivals. There are four lands trying to fight to gain the Key Spirits which are special Spirits which are more powerful then all the Spirits in their world. There are a total of Six, and there is a long story to get to them. The action is non-stop in this anime but with 51 episodes there are quiet a few filler episodes which gets annoying, but the action keeps me watching and it is an interesting story. You want to know where it is going to end, towards the end the story got better so I did enjoy the ending but I think it would have been better if it was a little bit short.

This is just one ridiculous movie which they put together without a script, you feel as if they just went along and made up the story as it was going along. It is funny, but its all slap-stick humor and you would be entertained for a little while but it gets old. The story is simple they take a couple of red necks into the military since they are short of soldiers from the war with Iraq and decides to send them to Iraq, but instead they land in Mexico and all hell breaks loose. It is a funny movie that you only see once, and you can keep it going in the background for funny moments and thats about it.

I have been watching this show throughout the summer, and I only managed to finish it at this point. Its a drama about a comedy show in Los Angeles called Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and it is located on Sunset Set Blvd. Mathew Perry is one of the leading actors, and he is acting as the head writer of Studio 60 due to some circumstances. It is a dark comedy about this show, and there are lots of interesting characters in it and lots of stories between them. Each episode is a story of them trying to get through the week and the stories they are putting up for the show airing every Friday, it is just like Saturday Night Live where they make cameos and new stories every week for the shows. So there is that part of it as well as the theme that carries over and all the chemistry at Studio 60 between certain people. Amanda Peet is president of NBS on the show and she got the new executive producers for the show who are Mathew Perry and Bradely Whitford, and things just went from there. D.L Hughley was also part of the show and I was impressed with his character and what he added to the show, it really was a five star cast with a great story.
The show was dropped by NBC even though I think it was an extremely good show and I was afraid the ending would be horrible and unsatisfying, and leave me hanging wanting for more but there won’t be. The ending satisfied most of my curiosity and I was happy about it, but I still want more since I really did love all the characters and there was a certain level of quality to it. A good show gets you attached to the characters, and I got attached some of these characters. Even though it ended I think everyone should watch it.

This is the final iteration of the Bourne series and what an ending it was. Now they bring back Bourne from his hiding to just to bring him forth and give him his information. There is a different ideas in the Agency regarding Bourne and what they should do since he resurfaced and things only keep getting better. The storyline just keeps getting better and better, things aren’t clear from the start but the action is just perfect. If you liked the previous Bourne movies then you will really enjoy this with all the action, and Matt Damon does an amazing job as born. This movie should not be missed.

I usually watch every movie that Clive Owen is in since I really like his acting, I didn’t know what to expect from this movie expect that it was all action. It turned out to be that and a lot more, this movie was made for Clive Owen. Owen is protecting a baby and he is trying to find out why people are trying to kill this baby, and he gets Monica Belluci to help him. Monica Belluci is one of the hottest actresses and she fits her role in this movie. The limits of your imagination for the action keeps getting pushed from scene to scene, the best part is that it isn’t just senseless action there is a very good plot and the actors are perfect for their roles. The gun fights are nonstop action packed explosions that keep you astonished and entertained throughout the movie, even towards the end you feel like it was a fast blur. Its a movie which is worth watching and owning.

I have been looking forward to seeing this movie for a while I have heard some mixed opinions about this movie. I knew I had to see it since I was a huge fan of TMNT since I was a kid and it brought back memories. As the story starts the Turtles aren’t a team anymore, and Leonardo is in South America for training. As they are split there is something taking place in the city, and Shredder is no longer there. Leonardo then returns to the city after being convinced by April and ending more then year away from his brothers. They did a real good job introducing the characters as the people that they are, and the animation is superb for this type of movie. As things progress the story unfolds and all the pieces start falling into place. The Foot are still there but they are not the threat, whats interesting is that it seems that there is going to be sequel to this movie and it felt more like an introduction then a full movie, but still very enjoyable. Any person who liked TMNT from back in the day will enjoy this movie, its aimed at old geeks and young kids.

Sometimes I get a craving for some pizza and so we decided to stop by Pizza Express. These days there are quiet a few branches of Pizza Express, I can think of four just off the top of my head (Airport, Bida’a, Avenues, & Dahiat Abdulla Al Salem) and there might be more.
We went into the one in the Avenues and there were a lot of seats to choose from for lunch on a weekday. The staff is friendly and we took our seats, and got the menus. I was very hungry at that point so I was looking through the longs list of choices. They do have a nice selection of salad but I went with the Ceaser Salad and a Cream Chicken Pizza, I tend to the like the white sauce. My friend ordered some meat type pizza and that was something different so I wanted to try it as well.
The timing was pretty good, they brought the salad and then 15 minutes later they brought out the pizzas which were nice and hot. I went through the pizza very quickly as well as getting a bite from my friends pizza, what I love about their pizzas is that they are thin crust and not thick. I really dislike thick pizzas because I’m not enjoying the pizza as much.
Overall I really like Pizza Express since they have good food and good service, its not 100% like the ones in the UK but pretty damn good.
