Plot Summary: Life on Mars is hard for those who live here. As the economy worsens, work becomes scarce and food becomes expensive and highly prized. Gram and his friends try to do the best they can but, he finds himself on the run with the most notorious pirates on Mars. The only problem is he soon starts to enjoy the adventure.

Gram joins the band of pirates and gets pulled into the battle between them and the Earth Forces. They are on Mars and they view themselves as the Robinhoods, resources as scarce so Mars is somewhat dependent on Earth. There is a lot going on politically and Gram is stuck in the middle of it, but then there is Gram’s history and something hidden in the background that he is tied to. This anime jumps right into it without too much explanation, so gets right into the anime. I thought it was going one way then it changes direction in the story line. The quality of animation is good with a good amount of humor, I got to really like characters of the pirate ship. Comedy is central to this anime, but the lack of continuity in the storyline got a bit annoying I kept watching the anime over a stretched period. I thought the ending would be better then it was, it was a good anime but there are better animes out there.

I have been in need of a bluetooth headset for a while now but I haven’t fond of the ones that have been out. I drive a manual so bluetooth is essential, when I don’t have handsfree its difficult to answer the phone even though I have pretty much perfected it, I prefer not to.

I wanted something I can clip or hang around my neck, I saw this bluetooth product a few months back and I decided to try it out. I have liked the way SonyEricsson have designed their headphones since regular headphones don’t fit me and hurt after a while. These headphones fit directly into your ear and you can hear everything clearly, what amazed me is how loud this headset it, you can clearly hear people.

This headset is target for MP3 playback of the phone which my W880i does perfectly if I used it that way, the only track I have is the theme song to 24. I have been amazed at the strength of this bluetooth headset, previous headsets would act up and the voice would start crackling at 5 meters (Clear Line of Sight) even if they are rated at 10 meters, but this headset has been able to keep the connection at more then 9 meters clearly, and if does a decent job from behind a wall. The microphone is good, but it also picks up background noises, but not too bad.

The right ear piece has the mouth piece which you speak into, and the left ear piece has the button to end and pick up calls, very simple.

The screen is something else, it is a very simple screen but it does everything. It shows you the name of the track (rotates if it is long), it shows you the name of the caller and shows both Arabic and English which was a surprise and a huge plus.

I thought the price was a bit steep, but it turned out to be a fantastic product and I have been very happy with it.

I have played the Hitman game when it first came out years ago and I really enjoyed it, the game was well made with an original story and the fans grew from there. I never thought that it would grow so big that they would make a movie out of it, I didn’t have high expectations for this movie but I was honestly surprised. This movie picks up right away into the action, it revolves around a company called The Organization which has ties with every government and every company to make sure it makes money. It has no loyalties and their business is the killing business, so they have created these killing machines to do the work for them. One of them is number 47 who is played by Timothy Olyphant. He is betrayed because of the information he knows, and sold out by the organization, from there things pick up. The funny part is how the camera angle in this movie follows that from the game, it keeps things interesting, they also picked the perfect female character to play the victim who is also a bad girl that 47 will protect and fall for. Overall its an easy movie to enjoy and a very well thought out ending.

I had high expectations for a Josh Harnett movie, he is usually in some very good movies and I like his acting. This movie is about an Alaskan town that goes through its usually yearly month of night, one month every year a town goes through 30 days of darkness and now it is their town, but with the darkness something else comes from the darkness. Its about vampires which I thought I would enjoy but the movie was so disconnected, inconsistent, and corny that I was really lost towards the end and it didn’t come to a conclusion, nothing really fit together and it was very badly made. I wouldn’t recommend it, the only thing I enjoy was some of the action scenes.

This was an unexpected movie from Kevin Bacon, I haven’t seen him in a good movie in a while. He plays the role of a man with a family, he loses his son in a gang killing and from there he takes things into his own hands. It doesn’t play out the way he thinks it does and then things go spiraling from there. A great storyline which unfolds at the good pace keeping your toes throughout the movie. One of things that I liked in the movie is the music that was used in different scenes, it complemented the movie perfectly. The fight scenes kept you on your toes, you never knew who was going to win and they were beating the hell out of each other just to survive. This grief stricken family was at the end of their rope and you want to know whats going to happen next. The ending was a little bit unexpected to say the least, but overall a great movie and worth watching.

This is one those books that every 24 fan must have, it is filled with information and all the details of the different seasons. You get an intimate look into the process of 24 and what they do with all the different characters and how people don’t know exactly what is going to happen to them. The images throughout the book are amazing and give you an amazing look into the life of the people on 24.

The photos are delightful, revealing, and a true treat to the fans of 24. You get action shots of the scenes to off-set cast and crew as they are when they are preparing and relaxing at different times. Jon Casser is the executive producer and most of the pictures have his comments on them, they are very heartfelt and enjoyable commentary throughout the book. The photographs are sectionalized into the different seasons, and then going into the different process of 24 to make it what it is, and the special guest appearances on the show and the set. If your a true 24 fan than you need to see this.

Plot Summary: In their closed-off underground village, Kamina and Simon chafe at the limits imposed by the village elder. Yet all this will change, when Simon stumbles across a fantastic device – just as the village’s peace is broken by a violent intrusion.

What an anime, I kept reading about this anime from a little while back and it was getting very high ratings. Its about Simon who lives underground and find Lagann while digging around unerground. Humans were all living underground because of problems they were having above ground, that is what they learned but Simon and Kamina wanted more. They had to battle huge robots, and the battle just began from there, Simon would never give up no matter what the situation was and they were always trying to protect everyone while putting themsevles on the line. It has been a long time since I have seen an anime such as this, the quality of art was amazing, the charisma of the characters was fantastic,and I remember all the characters very intimately. The humor wouldn’t stop in this series, even with all the bad things that was taking place you could see all the characters finding a reason to go forward and fight.  The music used for this anime was perfect and always fitting for the scene, there is nothing that they didn’t do to make this an amazing anime. This is one of my Top Ten anime of all time, and if you like anime remotely then you should be watching this one. It leaves you wanting more, and you get so attached that you miss it.

Bill Bob Thorton plays the role of a cynical heartless physical education couch in a highschool, which seems to be the perfect role for him with his hill billy character. He just comes across as a hateful bastard and its entertaining seeing what he does to these kids to get them toughened up for real life. Sean William Scott plays the author of a self help book who became successful but he goes back to his home town he finds out his mother is involved with the old couch and she is going to marry him, then he tries everything possible to dig up dirt on his past to break them up. Its a funny movie and there are some funny characters, the best part is seeing Sean William Scott and Billy Bob Thorton go at it in the movie. Towards the end of the movie things were getting a bit slow and it wasn’t as funny but it did end on a funny note.

I was really looking forward to watching this movie since it was an interesting story with a good blend of fantasy and science that I enjoy. The movie started off with the children and you get a sense of understanding for time they are living in. The story progresses but a few things seems missing from the story since they left a few parts out from the book. The progress was very good and it was enjoyable, the characters were very interesting. Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman did an amazing job with their characters, and I’m not that fond of Nicole Kidman.

The movie was going at a very good pace, and the story was developing as things got interesting and the action was building up it seems like their would be more. Since this is a trilogy they ended this movie feeling as if it was missing something which was a mistake, I really thought their would be more and for a trilogy they should link the story not leave it feeling as if it was missing something. I expected more from it and I wasn’t satisfied from the ending but I loved the story.

This is one of those sci-fi fantasy movies that I have been looking forward to seeing for a while now. The story follows the life of Tristan Thorn who is told never to cross the wall of the town, when he is trying to convince a woman to be his wife. When he crosses over he finds a land filled with magic, and he goes to the star that he promised his woman to be. He followed the star into the other realm, and when he arrives he discover Yvain (Claire Daines) to be the star, and travels with Yvain throughout the land to return home while being chased by a witch (Michelle Pfieffer).

 This movie is filled with talented actors and they play their roles perfectly. The love interest of Tristan is Victoria played by Sienna Miller. Robert Deniro plays Captain Shakespeare, one of the other entertaining actors in this movie. The story is entertaining with the right combination of actors to bring it to life.
