I don’t know what to say abut this movie without it being bad, it isn’t just bad but it wasn’t horrible. You keep hoping that it will get better but that isn’t the case, it seems the special effects people really put an effort into the movie, really they did. The script is one of a kind, I don’t think they could have made this bad if they intentionally tried. I slept a bit through this movie which hasn’t happened to me in an action movie before. Take a look at the cast list and you tell me what you think, it seems that nobody was into this movie or somebody didn’t screen it.

Hayden Christensen has been under the radar for a little while but with this movie he is coming off to good start. Hayden discovers that he has the power to teleport to any location that he can visualize, at first it seems that nobody notices and he goes for years under the radar of a certain group. After certain events taking place he realizes that he isn’t the only jumper, meaning a person who can create worm holes at a whim. Samuel L. Jackson is the main hunter of this group and he has Hayden in his sights, he wants to hunt him down and kill him as he did many others. There is a bit of underlying story but that is to be discovered in this action packed movie. Everyone who enjoys a good action movie will love this, great acting, and a very good story line with a twist.

Simon Peg is one of the funniest men out of England, there is a reason for that. He is damn good at all the roles he plays, and this one is no different. He walks out of his pregnant wife at the alter only to become a security guard at a women’s retail shop. When his woman gets involved with another man things get brewing with him, he lives in the basement of another person’s home, and he loves his son. He just can’t seem to get things right, and so he vows to beat his woman’s new man at a marathon. He hasn’t completed anything in his life, so how is he going to complete this marathon. You just won’t stop laughing throughout the movie, and he is a genius. A great movie to enjoy and watch.

Now this has turned out to be an interesting show, its about a Suburban widow who recently lost her husband and she lives in the typical white suburban area. The odd thing about her is how she has been introduced to Marijuana, and becomes the king dealer of white suburbia, while still maintaining her suburban lifestyle to a degree. She goes to the PTA meetings, checks on her kids, deals load of marijuana, meets up with dealers, gets frightened which has to fight for her territory. The story is damn original, its hilarious and its the perfect mix of drama and comedy.

This is a film adaptation of a comic class from DC comics, I was really looking forward to more from DC Comics after JLA-Unlimited but it set high standards to meet. This story is based in the 1950s when the Heroes were just starting out, America is in the midst of a war against the communist, things are just not looking good. You get introduced very quickly to a number of DC Comic Heroes; Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Man Hunter, Flash, and more as the story progresses. The Justice League wasn’t there and the Heroes are all fighting their own fight with things slowly falling apart until they face a real threat which unites them. The story has a very good feeling to it, you appreciate how the story progress and it doesn’t revolve around one character but around the DC Universe. I enjoyed it but I felt that it felt a bit dated for being a 2008 movie, I expected something more on the level of JLA-Unlimited. The story is good, the coloring is very good, music is good as well, the animation overall feels slightly old and it could have been spiced up a bit more but if your a comic fan then you will enjoy it.

I was hungry and I knew the new Applebees was open in Mishref but I heard that it wasn’t that good from a friend. I took the jump and decided to try even though it went against my usual rule. The rule is simple, if I’m hungry then go to some place I know is good so that I will be happy with my decision, but tonight I felt risky.
I Googled Applebees Mishref and found the contact number right away so I called for a Cheddar Cheese Burger with Fries, and I asked for it medium so that they won’t burn it to a piece of rubber. They told me it would take 8 – 10 minutes which I thought was pretty good, I took a bit to find my car keys then I headed down. As I was driving they called me telling my order was ready which is pretty fast.
When I arrived there were a few cars parked outside, there is ample parking but I double parked up front. I walked in and I got the strangest looks, but I’m assuming its because I was holding a very big camera with me. I wanted to take some pictures inside but there were families so I decided to take a picture in area where no one was seated. I paid but they didn’t have any change and it took them more time to find change then it did to make the food, but they were very friendly about it.
The ToGo box is very smart and meant to keep the fries from getting soggy. I took the food and flew home since I was hungry and I wanted to continue my show. I unpacked the food and it looked ok, the fries were a bit bland. As I got into the burger was ok, nothing special but it was cooked right. There was something about the meat then just wasn’t what I expected and the fries just didn’t taste that good. The food wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t that good either, the best part of my meal was the ice cold coke. I don’t think I will be passing by there again, I would rather driver all the way to the city to pick up some burgers from Fuddruckers which is a lot.

This movie picks up as Michael Clayton playing poker in an underground china town place. George Clooney plays the role of Michael Clayton who is “the fixer” in a big New York law firm, he his in the lime light of the company but someone who manages to fix difficult situations for important people. Then he gets caught up with one the firms top lawyers gone AWOL, and things get really hairy when the lead lawyer of 6 year class action lawsuit can’t handle his situation and Michael is supposed to handle this. As time progresses he starts piecing things together. The character the Clooney plays is great, he pulls him off perfectly, you really feel that he doesn’t want to be a hero but he can’t help but put pieces together. The movie overall is good but the story feels a bit weak, and if you like Clooney then you will like this movie.

Plot Summary:High school student Takumi Fujiwara works as a gas station attendant during the day and a delivery boy for his father’s tofu shop during late nights. I just finished Initial D First Stage and it was one hell of an adrenaline rush. This is a classic Anime from 1998, and it turned into a cult following. Some people say that this is one of the main causes of drifting spreading globally. Takumi is this calm person who doesn’t look like he has a worry in the world except to deliver his father’s tofu. He takes is routes and with time he learns lots of different skills to driving, this just to deliver tofu. He has some friends who make up a racing group in Akina, and when they see his skills he becomes legend. The anime is simple but great, it keeps you on your toes from episode to episode, you see how Takumi develops and with that he gains more enemies who want to compete with him, and this is just First Stage making the AE86 legend.

I have been reading this book for a while, and it was one the best books I have read in a long time. If you are interested in the trials, tribulations, accomplishments of these people.
She interviews over 30 people from different 30 companies in the last two decades and a few before that. So many questions are answered, their motivation, the issues they faced, how they triumphed over their obstacles.
This book is very motivational, and you can read the different sections at different times. You get pulled into the emotions of some of these people, and what they did isn’t magic but a lot of luck played into it, timing is key to a lot of what they did. I loved this book, there was a lot to learn and gain from other people’s experiences and I know I shall be reading it again and again. Even with all the difficulties they went through it felt fantastic when they move forward with their lives, these are the types of people that you would want to work with.

I have been looking forward to this movie for a long time, I have been a fan of predator since Predator 2. My expectations haven’t been met over the years, the first AVP was a bit disappointing but interesting. This seemed as if it was going to be a better story but it wasn’t the case either. I won’t ruin the story, but if your a fan of this sci-fi franchise then you should watch it. It just isn’t satisfying, it feels like they didn’t know who to concentrate on and the usually the Predator has a relationship with one character but in this one neither the Alien nor the Predator have anything to do with the people, the people fee like they were just in the way.
The ending was a bit annoying, but I still did enjoy the movie. It could have been done a lot better then what they did, but its always fun watching the Predator beat the crap out of the Alien at different points.
