We just saw a pre-screening of the new James Bond movie, I thought it might be uncut in Kuwait for this pre-screening but I was wrong. Starts off with a nice car chase getting you into the gritty action right away.
Daniel Craig is the toughest James Bond yet, this movie is filled with rough fight scenes and he is getting beat up at every turn. This movie is very raw with a sense of relentless revenge that Bond is seeking.
I had high expectancy for this movie after Casino Royale’s big band and twisty plot. But in this one Bond is a man on a mission and no one can stop him. Its so hectic that you keep trying to piece things together, and at the end of it you keep thinking that there should be more. I am dissapointed that the story didn’t satisfy me completely, yes, but is it worth watching hell yes.
See it for Craig’s fully-formed Bond: angry, icily unsentimental, and fleetingly borderline psychotic at the close.

Plot Summary:
Allen Walker is a young Exorcist who has a cursed eye that can see the suffering of the Akumas created by The Millenium Earl. He travels to England to the Headquarters of the Exorcists where his Master has sent him to meet with the other Exorcists. The battle with the Millenium Earl and the Noah Family vs. the Exorcists intensifies when some of the best Exorcists begin to get killed by hoards of Akuma. Japan takes center stage in this end of 19th Century plot in order to not let the entire human race be turned into Akumas and the Exorcists have the power of “Innocence” that was given to them by God on their side.Allen Walker, a young man with a cursed eye, lives to destroy a weapon known as Akuma. These weapons created by the Milleneum Earl are sent out by his command to purge the world from humans. Allen Walker uses an anti-akuma weapon, Innocence, to counter the Earl’s attempts at destroying humanity. He travels to the Black Order by his mentor’s directions. There he meets with others who also fight against the Milleneum Earl’s plans. But more questions start to appear as Allen and his friends move further along to reach their goal. And these questions that seem to connect to Allen’s past.
An action packed anime from the start, Allen is thrown in a storm of Akuma (Demons) to fight. He has a powerful Innocence (a weapon fused with a human) to fight these demons, but it might not be enough for the role that he has. It is a long and interesting series with deeper thoughts behind it. With a long series such as this there were a few filler episodes, but still it was an excellent story line which kept things very interesting. The best part is when their fused weapons (Innocence) start developing into something stronger. Allen has a lot of friends, and all of them with different types of weapons and personalities that keep this deep story very light hearted, which is an excellent combination. An anime really worth watching and it has this thing about it, you can’t give up hope and they keep fighting on.

I started playing this game a few months back now since I heard a lot of good things about it. Its very different then Mercenaries when it first came out, it has some similarity of Saints Row but a little different. Your a mercenary on a mission of vengence, and you are putting a ragtag team together to fight and making alliances. The BEST part of this game is that everything can be destroyed, if you have got a big enough gun then it can be destroyed. You build up your characters supplies and contacts trying to get to the one person that you want to kill, and its all in your hands from the choices and missions you make. The best part about this game is that you can fly a helicopter or take a tank from the earlier stages of the game which is a hell of a lot of fun. With all the missions, its a lot of fun figuring out the type of support that you need to complete your mission, I usually go in guns blazing and some times I get killed but you start off from your main house. Its a lot of fun and it doesn’t feel like its endless, and doesn’t eat up all the time you have during the day.

Shia LaBeouf is one of those actors that I enjoy watching, he just keeps getting better and in this movie he was great. From the start its an action packed movie with an array of interesting characters, I especially like the role Billy Bob Thorton plays. Just like Shia you are at a loss in the beginning trying to figure out what is going on, something is tied to the government and nobody knows who is pulling the strings. You are trying to figure out whats is going to happen next after each car chase, explosion, fight, and more. One hell of a movie that keeps you on your toes with an interesting twist for an ending, the best part is at every point throughout the movie there is always something unexpected that is going to happen which you might think you have figured out. An action packed and entertaining movie with a great storyline, go see it.

A man on a path to find his family’s killers, and with only one goal in mind. Mark Wahlberg is Max Payne, a hardened cop who cares nothing but for revenge, and he plays this role really well. There is a lot of similarity to the game in the main story, but thats about it, it takes a completely different path. You pick up the main idea of the story from the start and there an interesting bunch of characters and actors in this movie. I had very high expectations and I wanted to enjoy the action, but there was some confusion as to what was real and what wasn’t. I like most of Mark Wahlberg’s movie and I liked this one too but it was too confusing until the end you understand what they were trying to portray, but I think it should have concentrated more on the story rather then the effects. Bullets are flying every where and you just feel that Mark is really getting beat up, it keeps getting more intense so you get pulled into it. Its worth watching and enjoying the action, but don’t have very high expectations for it.

Review:
Ewan McGreggor and Hugh Jackman are both actors that I tend to like, so I expected something different from this movie. I have to say that they played their characters very well. Ewan is an account working at the biggest law firm, but life seems to be passing him by until Jackman enters the picture and introduces him into a world of extacy and intrigue. It is very interesting once things start coming together, it does have its boring parts but still pretty good and I liked the characters they played.

Cao Cao is usurping the thrown of the Han Dynasty playing the role of the Prime Minister controlling the Han army under the guise of protecting the king. Cao Cao is trying to wipe out his last opponents Lui Bei, the uncle of the King, and Sun Quan the ruler of the Southern Kingdom. Once they are pacified he will have full control of all of China, but they will not stand down under these great numbers, they will fight with so many brave generals fighting against Cao Cao. Directed and written by John Woo, I do love all movies John Woo is involved in. The cast is nothing short of amazing with their acting and martial arts skills. Those who are familiar with Dynasty warriors will know all the characters, and this movie really is a work of art. There is going to be a sequel, those who watch it will understand.

Plot Summary: Answering the call of the “Gold Raceâ€, all the sentient races launch into space. The human race is the last to launch, and are thus known as the “Iron Raceâ€. Much time has passed since then, and humanity is threatened with extinction at the hands of the more dominant “Silver Raceâ€. In order to save her people, Princess Deianeira sets out on a journey to a galaxy far away, following the prophecies of the Gold Race handed down by the royal family. Then, she meets a boy named Age. Their encounter will change the fate of the universe…
Age is of pure of heart and raised by the Gold Race, and he is a Nodos, a person holding a one of the Heroic Tribe inside of him. All of these Heroic tribes are extremely powerful and he is a champion of the Human Race, the Iron Tribe. There are a total of 5 Nodos and he is one of them, the other four Nodos serve the Silver Race who are hell bent on wiping out the Human Race. He meets Dhianeira and their fates take a turn, and it seems that Age has a bigger picture and depends on Dhianeira’s vision to move forward into the future. One hell of an anime which was one roller coaster after another, I couldn’t stop watching it.

The world has fallen apart and it is the post apocalyptic world. Thoorop (Vin Diesel) is a mercenary for hire and he is good at what he does, he is hired to transport a girl from Russia to America and he doesn’t know whats in store for him. I thought it was going to be an action packed Sci-fi but turned out to be a little bit more confusing then that. It seems when they translated the book into a movie script they left out a few parts from the storyline to keep it short, and that is what is confusing. The plot just doesn’t add up together even for a serious action movie. I just expected to be a lot better then it was, it was still enjoyable but not what I was expecting.

Jason Statham and cars is an automatic combination for a succesful movie. The title is just as it states, the United States just had an economic meltdown so private corporations have taken over a lot of the government roles and one of them is the penetentiary system. To make money out of the penetentiary system they have turned them into violent entertainment for the masses, and that resulted in the Death Race. The storyline is good, the acting is pretty good, and the action is nonstop. I do love the role that Jason Statham takes in this movie and how tough he is, he really is as strong as he looks. An action packed entertaining movie which is simple and to the point, if you like action then you will enjoy this movie. Â
