A group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities are hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency. They must utilize their different talents and band together for a final job enabling them to escape the agency forever.
Nick Grant is one of those people with powerful abilities, but he is hiding out in Hong Kong from Division. A part of the government that is trying to manufacturer more powerful meta humans. There is a lot of ties to their history and he meets a girl who is a see-er, someone who can see into the future. The way this plays out is fantastic, there is a feeling of how meta-human capabilities such as these can develop into real life powers and how they can be related. Nick Grant is played by Chris Evans, and I think its an interesting cast of the people with special powers that plays out very nicely, an entertaining and fun movie to watch.

Plot Summary: In the night of Tokyo, mysterious deaths involving the ‘Reborn Dead’ occur. Mysterious transfer student, Tatsuma Hiyuu, and delinquent student, Kyouichi Houraiji, fight these undead every night. They, along with the rest of their group, soon realize that a greater threat, that involves even more powerful demons, is near.
This is the second season of Tokyo Majin and I was a bit disappointed, I was expecting a lot after the first one. Tatsuma’s powers have started to show and the group will come together to fight an evil they never seen before, but it takes all their strength to stay together and pull through against the enemy. They do all feel like all friends but still the storyline just doesn’t feel complete and you feel unsatisfied with the ending, such a build up but not the peak performance I was expecting but the action scenes were pretty good and I like the character development.

Valentino Rossi is one of those stars that rose very quickly through the ranks of the motorcycle world. Many people know of him or have heard of him if they have any interest in motorcycles what so ever, and I am also a fan of this amazing rider including a few other amazing riders such as Noriega Haga, Colin Edwards, Nicky Hayden, Casey Stoner, and Biaggi. I have a lot of respect for these professional riders because they are perfecting their riding techniques in extreme conditions with very little room for error which also helps develop our consumer motorcycles. I picked this book up back in 2006 and I didn’t get around to reading it until a couple of months ago because I realized that information in an autobiography gets old quickly and I might get annoyed unlike other fictional stories. So I decided it was next up on my list and I was happy I read that book, gave me an incite into the mind of one of the greatest riders of this century. Valentino Rossi may come off as a bit egotistical but he has the track record to back it up, and I do enjoy his sense of humor and his tenacity to come back and win at the last minute. This book gives you an idea of what these riders go through, they have been riding their whole lives with so much at stake and they are all extremely passionate about it. There are a few boring parts in the book and it doesn’t seem like a complete thought but it is entertaining and I did learn something new, it wasn’t the riveting read I was expecting but still worth reading, if you are a follower of MotoGP then this book is a must read other then that I don’t think others would understand it, one thing is for sure Valentino is a typical Italian.

I have had my Leatherman Skeletool for a little over four months now and I don’t know why I didn’t purchase it earlier. It’s one of the most useful and durable tools I have ever bought for all kinds of situations. I have cut some very thick towing cable with the knife and oddly required the pliers in different vehicle situations. Its extremely compact for a tool of its strength, I like the look of the carbon fiber and its also feels comfortable. I also like the weight of it, feels just right when I’m using it and carrying it, its supposed to be this heavy if you expect it to be strong. If you like tools or are usually using tools then this should be part of your arsenal.

An MIT professor is lost his wife in a tragic accident and left to raise his son on his own. At his son’s elementary school they dig up a time 50 year old time capsule and his son recieves a letter with chilling predictions. As it plays out these are related to tragic events that will take place, only he is left to unravel the remaining mystery. Its an action packed movie that you really don’t expect from Nicholas Cage, I didn’t expect the movie to turn out this way. I thought it was going to be more a science fiction movie, but it had its scary parts and I was freaked out, which I really did enjoy. A really enjoyable movie that turned out a lot different then I expected, and a lot of people would enjoy it.

This has been a long awaited movie for the past two years, a follow up to the blockbuster of 2007. This time around the decepticons are out in number, it has been two years since the Autobots have landed on earth and they have joined a task force of humans to fight the remaining decepticons across the globe. They are getting to them one on every continent and more keep showing up, they don’t know what exactly they are looking for but they are searching for something. Sam is off to college, until he touches the cube again only to realize that he is now seeing symbols everywhere.
You get introduced to the new autobots right away with Prime as their leader, Megatron isn’t any where to be found and Starscream is the coward leading the decepticons on this search. Soundwave is the one the more interesting Decepticons, we were used to him as a Stereo from the original Transformers but this time around he is a Satellite with amazing hacking abilities. You also meet a few new autobots such as the twins, the motorcycle autobot and Sideswipe the mean looking corvette and thats just the beginning of it, and one of the best in the movie is Jetfire but he is a little different then the original but you will see what I mean when you watch it.
This is one action packing movie from start until end, I didn’t realize that it would be that long. I didn’t realize how much time went by because I was stuck to my seat hoping that each time they confront that the Autobots would win and Sam would get where he is going. There were a few scenes which had me ties to my seat and I was shocked at a few points but I loved every moment of it. For those who were criticizing the movie saying its not as good as the first one, I think they are mistaken its even better, so many Autobots and Decepticons duking it out, armies coming into full battle, and new storyline that keeps you tied to your seat and introducing new concepts about the Autobots and Decepticons and so much more. I loved every moment of the movie, I want to watch it again, I can’t wait to get it on Blu-Ray.

A New York city subway system is run by a control office with people making the routes. One day a man holds one train cart hostage with the people in it, asking for $10’000’000 from the city of New York. The unlucky man who gets the call at the station control is Walter Garber (Denzel Washington), this falls in his lap and the guy pulling this off likes him so sticks to him. This is one interesting movie, it isn’t all that it seems to be when you go through the movie. A smart movie about a desperate man who is willing to die, and one man who is desperate to save everybody. Ryder is played by John Travolta, and he plays the perfect villain, smart, dangerous, and a little bit of crazy, just the prefect combination to pull this off. A great movie and you will enjoy some of the supporting actors in it, action packed until the end, there was one scene with a motorcycle that even hurt me, you will know when you see it.

Land of the Lost is one of those wacky movies you go to enjoy, and the writers and other actors complement Will Ferrel perfectly. Its a remake of an old show that they brought into a modern day movie, you don’t have to know anything about the old show but those who know can relate to a few things. Will Ferrel plays Dr. Rick Marshall and he is a joke of modern science stating that he can travel through time, and one hot lady believes in him so he builds his machine or modulator that causes an opening in dimensions. This movie from beginning to end is hilarious, I was laughing my head off in the theater for most of the time. I’m assuming their are a few times they would censor a few scenes but overall this movie was great and Will played his role perfectly without getting to annoyed with his antics, this time around it was the perfect blend of funny and stupid without being ridiculous.

I kept hearing about this movie being a disaster but the rumors were just an understatement. There wasn’t enough build up of character relationships, meaning you really don’t get to know any character because they are trying to introduce so many, and instead of trying to give them a story they should have just let them fight, and the fights weren’t too impressive. Its sad that they did this to a game with such history, the game turned out a whole lot better then the movie. On another note Chris Klien was a disaster, a complete disaster in this movie, I think he should just quit acting.

I remember picking up this book in 2007 in Waterstones in London and I didn’t start reading it until 2008. It took me just under a year to finish this book, this was the book that I read when ever I was flying, kept it in my travel messenger bag. John Perkins is an excellent story teller, getting the concept of the Economic Hit Man across, or EHM. Putting into perspective the tools used by the US government to control assets across the globe, those tools were EHMs and if that didn’t work then the Jackals would go and the last resort would be military action. You are taken through an amazing story of a man who has been at the all the places which were the certain of change during its time for the past half century. Also a man who was confessing to all his actions and deeds which have altered the course of countries and the lives of people. A great read which I think any person would enjoy.
