The infamous Ari Gold for those who follow Entourage, I seriously find this guy to be fantastic. In this movie it just gets even better, a mercenary salesman, who sells when all others can’t sell. Used-car liquidator Don Ready is hired by a flailing auto dealership to turn their Fourth of July sale into a majorly profitable event. One very funny movie, with a great bunch in the movie and this is one to watch.

Plot Summary: Macross Frontier marks the 25th anniversary of the Macross anime franchise. It is a direct sequel to the first Macross series and Macross 7 and follows the lives of Alto Saotome, Ranka Lee and a pop idol named Sheryl Nome on board the Macross Frontier colonization fleet. After the war against the Zentradi aliens, Humankind has spread across the universe in order to ensure its survival. The Macross Frontier fleet is part of a effort to spread and maintain the culture of humanity.
I have been a fan of Macross since I was a kid, seeing planes that transformed into Robots was the coolest thing and I followed all anime which were an offshoot from the original. Luckily this picked up the story where the other one ended and developed it even further, the humans were working with the Zentradi and new life is ahead of them but they face a new menace unknown to them. First off the animation in Macross Frontier is fantastic, just the perfection combination of 2-D & 3-D making it look amazing, the fight scenes fantastic, and just as the original a lot depended on the music and they did an amazing job with that. This anime is at the top and one of the best since the original was released, a must watch for all anime fans and even if you aren’t you will enjoy it.

Lex Luthor is elected as President of the United States, enlists many super powered Heroes to work for the Government. Superman & Batman are some of the few left who doubt him and will not join, Lex manages to turn the world against Superman. Mean while the Earth is on the verge of being destroyed by giant Kryptonite asteroid and Lex doesn’t want the help of the super heroes. A good storyline played out by Batman and Superman, the animation quality is really good but it could have been a little better. The best part was the involvement of so many DC Comic Characters with Superman, I would have enjoyed a little longer story with a little better animation but the movie was still fun to watch and enjoyable for any fan of Superman or Batman.
The world is about to come to an end, the Mayans predicted it and now science is proving it. The movie was entertaining, the action was good, there funny moments and sometimes the graphics were a little over the top but a very enjoyable movie. John Cusak played his role perfectly, and Amanda Peet pulled it off perfectly but the surprise for me was the funny role the Woody Harrelson played. Then the best part for me was that Danny Glover was President of the United States, I have been saying he should have been President since Predator 2. So many other characters in the movie that it’s surprising, but I really did enjoy how they tied the story together, how everyone comes together. A movie worth watching at least once.

I’m a fan of Ryan Reynolds, he makes funny look easy and with Sandra Bullock they make a very entertaining romantic comedy. Bullock is a top of the line editor for a huge publishing company who might lose her visa to stay in the US since she is Canadian, and Reynolds is her top assistant that she says she will marry and goes along with it to guarantee her green card. What a fiasco they go through as Bullock has to take down her tough woman look but she has to act all nice with her fiance in front of his family and that turns into the funniest moments, and Bullock is pretty funny herself. A fun romantic comedy really worth watching and there are some intensely funny moments.

The Dan Brown books are all getting hyped up after the success of the Da Vinci Code, then the release of the movies, they all got caught up in the hype. I was one person who preordered the booked months before its release on Amazon, my expectations were extremely high but they were not met. I took my time reading this book and enjoying it, it had its moments. You get a real view of the Freemasons, what they believe in, what they do, and what secrets they hold. Robert Langdon is dragged into another mystery, he is trying to figure out the mysteries as events are taking place and people are dying. Things were taken step by step, the funny part is that I was imagining Tom Hanks the whole time when reading this book, you get caught up in an interesting way, but you don’t get pulled into the story as you do the other books. There are books that engage you and you can’t put down, this didn’t achieve that like its predecessors, it was an entertaining book and a fun read but the story just had too much fluff, some parts were unnecessary and could’ve been done without. Overall I wasn’t bad, but I had high hopes, even the ending was a bit of a disappointment, but I’m crossing my fingers for the next one.

In the near future inmates play to live and people who don’t want to live, live to be played in the ultimate social networking game. Inmates are given the chance to get out of jail by participating in “Slayers” being controlled by other humans through brain implants, the same technology used and tried in the ultimate social networking game. Gerard Butler aka “Kable” is the ultimate soldier, a killing machine with a damn good controller working with him, many die but its only a game that they signed up for and more inmates sign up. There is more to this then just what you see, Kable wants to get out and he will be the first to complete Ken Castle’s game aka Dexter aka Michael C Hall. Michael C Hall plays the ultimate villain and he plays him so well, like a bit of psycho with a lot of power, very entertaining and as usual Gerard Butler kicks major ass. A fun filled movie that anyone can enjoy, action packed and Gerard Butler proves himself to be a badass just as in 300.

Review:
The world is falling apart around its greatest heroes. Batman’s paranoia has led him to create a supercomputer that has rebelled against him, threatening the entire world. Wonder Woman has slain a former ally to save the life of another. And Superman has lost his ability to lead, lost their faith, and lost his faith in himself. Four separate crises are converging, and the only hope for the entire Earth is that their champions conquer themselves and learn how to be heroes again.
This is a bit confusing if you aren’t a fan of the DC Comics Universe, or DC Comics for that matter. I have taken the books completely out of order, it was by luck that I picked up this book. I do enjoy reading comics turned into novels, the one thing about this book though is that you have to be somewhat familiar with DC Comic characters but the one thing that Greg Cox does amazingly is give you a portal into the minds of the heroes, the world is falling apart and they are all trying to figure out their way. I found “52” novel first which is book 3 of 3, then I read “Crisis” which is book 1 of 3, then this “Infinite Crisis” book 2 of 3 so I had a very odd or different perspective when reading through this novel. But when I read it, it made me visualize each character and try to image those who I didn’t remember and I just can’t seem to get enough of it, I hope for novels such as these from DC Comics, if you are a comic book fan then this is a must.

True Blood was a real hit for HBO last season, they made a realistic vampire society co-existing with humans and a few other surprises thrown into the mix. Season 2 is kicked off right away and they you jump right into it, no more need for introductions, things are going at a face pace. I thought season one was great, but season two turned out to be even better, they managed to make vampires and metrical creatures seem so realistic and possibly normal to live with. The story gets better and jucier, there is more to it then just what you know, vampires have a lot of politics to deal with as well as humans, they have an interesting way of breaking down their responsibilities. Season 1 was great and season 2 was fantastic, I don’t know how they can make it better, so many interesting characters so many ways this story can flow.
