On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history… but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.
Despite its insistently unsexy moving parts (software, algorithms), the movie is paced like a thriller, if one in which ideas, words and bank books blow up rather than cars. Jesse Eisenberg played the Mark Zuckerberg character perfectly, pulling off the genius attitude and better then the rest, he views people in ways that can achieve their tasks and it was portrayed perfectly in in the movie, his view of life and work was clear and straight forward, he went ahead with things without thinking of the impacts and times and you can see the results of his actions with all the troubles that he had to deal with. Although the names have remained the same, “The Social Network†is less of a biopic of the real Mr. Zuckerberg than a gloss on the boot-up, log-on, plug-in generation. The movie is more about the beginning of Facebook and its rough start to dominating the social networks and reaching the 500 million mark. It’s a resonant contemporary story about the new power elite and an older, familiar narrative of ambition, except instead of discovering his authentic self, Mark builds a database, turning his life — and ours — into zeroes and ones, which is what makes it also a story about the human soul. A Must see movie!

As Harry races against time and evil to destroy the Horcruxes, he uncovers the existence of three most powerful objects in the wizarding world: the Deathly Hallows.
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 is fun yet disturbing with a dark undertone to the movie. Potter has left Hogwarts, Dumbledore is really dead, and Voldemort takes over the Ministry of Magic. All hell breaks loose and Harry, Hermione, and Ron are running through the semi-enchanted streets of London into the forests to get away from the Death Eaters. For once we see Voldemort as the leader of the evil forces, and you get to see them instead of them hiding in the dark corners. Muggles and Half-Bloods are hunted and killed, Valdemort installed his people in the government and you can see them with their policy of pure, only those of pure magicians blood can exist, no mudbloods. This just being Part 1 left me wanting so much more and still the movie was amazing, its good to see them all grown up, everything taking place in the real world, and everything is coming together but I still don’t want the movies to end.

Never have I thought a blockbuster movie could be such a flop, those were two hours of my life that I can not recover. For Aliens attacking one city and a group of people trying to figure their way to survive I thought there would be a reason, something to put it all together, people were dying faster then usual and all the main characters were killed off. I was expecting something to top it off, but when the movie ended I wish I didn’t see it. I can’t believe they went ahead with this movie after reading the script, I gave it one out of five just because the special effects was decent. Avoid the movie.

When his idyllic life is threatened by a high-tech assassin, former black-ops agent Frank Moses reassembles his old team in a last ditch effort to survive. They must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive.
I wasn’t expecting the movie to be this good, it turned out to be even better then expected. Packing a long list of A-List actors; Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Mary-Louise Parker (From the show Weeds), John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, Karl Urban, and Brian Cox (Bad Guy from XMen2). This movie was a great combination of action and comedy, Bruce Willis played the cool spy while Malkovich played the insane guy who wants to shoot and blow things up, I really loved Malkovich’s character in this movie, he was the perfect comic relief. All the actors complemented each other and Mary-Louise Parker played the Willis’s clueless love intrest perfectly, they all fit their characters and came together perfectly. If you are looking for a good action film with a touch of comedy then this is on your list.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World follows the eponymous slacker rocker on his colorful quest to defeat his dream girl’s seven evil ex-boyfriends. Twenty-two-year-old Scott Pilgrim may not have a job, but rocking the bass for his band, Sex Bob-omb, is a tough job unto itself. When Scott locks eyes with Ramona Flowers, he knows she’s the girl he wants to grow old with. But Ramona has some serious baggage; her supercharged exes rue the thought of her being with another man, and they’ll crush any guy who gives her a second glance. Now, in order to win Ramona’s heart, Scott will do battle with everyone from vegan-powered rock gods to sinister skateboarders, never losing sight of his gorgeous goal as he pummels his way to victory.
Every once in a while you get a movie you don’t expect to be that good but knocks it out of the park, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was that movie. I kept hearing a lot of good reviews but I prefer not to know anything before going into the movie. All I knew is that Scott Pilgrim has to fight all the Ex-Boyfriends of Ramona to gain her love or keep it. The characters of this show are straight out of the Scott Pilgrim comic books, but they know how to give them that comic book feel. I loved the fight seen in this movie, its as if Scott the normal guy suddenly has super powers and goes back to normal, he gets pummeled to the ground and through walls but all is normal. The visual mix of comic book flavor and video game style is guaranteed to either blow your mind or put you into an epileptic fit, and I loved every moment of it and every action scene. The characters played their part perfectly, and I wanted more comic relief from Scott Pilgrim’s gay roommate, a simple young crush developed into ridiculous video game and comic book battles. You should not miss this movie.

I think at this rate there are over 100 cases for the iPad if not 1000 but I was looking for something specific. I didn’t want a notebook or sleeve type case, I wanted something with decent side protection and a stand so that I can place on a table or couch to watch shows. When I saw the Griffin case I knew it was the perfect case for my use, I bought it while I was in the states and I have using it everywhere ever since. I can easily hold the iPad while walking around, or toss it in the car, always ready to be in use and I don’t have to worry about it with this case, it doesn’t slip off the seat while I’m driving.

While still out to destroy the evil Umbrella Corporation, Alice joins a group of survivors who want to relocate to the mysterious but supposedly unharmed safe haven known only as Arcadia.
This was probably the best Resident Evil yet, I don’t know which number it has gotten to, but I think its the fourth movie but it is surely the best. It had an insane opening sequence, relating to the last movie but not dependent on it and within the first 10 minutes they destroy all of downtown Tokyo. Alice is still out to destroy the Umbrella Corporation but she is trying to find survivors, and finds some people on the way. I loved the action in this movie, and I watched in 3D and you can tell when a movie was shot in 3D or when it was converted, and this movie was shot in 3D and I loved every moment of it. The best part is that the movie gives you a damn good story with a great ending but leaves room for an insane sequel and I hope they top Resident Evil Afterlife, so if your a fan then you have to watch it.

After about three weeks of watching Star Wars The Clone Wars at every possible moment, I have managed to finish season 1 and 2. Now Season 3 is airing on Cartoon Network and I can’t wait to watch it again. If you are a minor fan of Star Wars then this TV show is for you.
My favorite characters on this show being Obi-Wan Kenobi, Captain Rex, Anikan Skywalker, and Skywalker’s Padi Wan. They have really gotten the story across very well, and you feel there is an expansion on the Star Wars Universe. I’m not sure where the story is going but I do love how you know that the Sith Lord is Senator Palpatine but you don’t know when they will find it out. Season 3 is just starting and I really don’t want this show to end!

Mercenaries, murderers, gangsters, and convicts, they were the most feared men on Earth. But now they’re a long way from home, and when the predators become the prey, fearless mercenary Royce (Adrien Brody) prepares for the fight of his life. And he’s not alone, because Mexican gangster Cuchillo (Danny Trejo), Israeli Defense Forces veteran Isabelle (Alice Braga), notorious mass murderer Stans (Walton Goggins), Russian Special Forces operative Nikolai (Oleg Taktarov), RUF death squad member Mombasa (Mahershalalhashbaz Ali), and sword-wielding Yakuza Hanzo (Louis Ozawa Changchien) are all armed to the teeth, and out for blood. The odd man out is Edwin (Topher Grace), a once-prominent physician whose career came to an end following a big scandal. When the motley crew encounters Noland (Laurence Fishburne), a resourceful human who has somehow managed to survive on the alien’s hunting grounds for some time, they prepare to take the ultimate stand against the most powerful Predators yet.
Robert Rodriguez knows how to make a movie, he took the Predators story to a different level, and in this movie surpassing the original with Arnold. Adrian Brody seemed to be an odd character at first but he pulls off the lethal mercenary perfectly, the whole bunch of them just fit perfectly together. Watching the trailers doesn’t tell you much about the story but when it comes together your surprised and you love it. Those new Predators redefine the Predators Universe, different types for different types of hunting, that there are wars between them for supremacy of the hunter and it just keeps getting better. The story is great, the action is nonstop, and you know the next one is going to be good if Rodriguez takes the reign again, if you are a Predator fan then this should be at the top of your list, and if you want watch an action movie then this movie will not disappoint.

NYPD Detectives Christopher Danson and P.K. Highsmith (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson) are the baddest and most beloved cops in New York City. They don’t get tattoos—other men get tattoos of them. Two desks over and one back, sit Detectives Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg). You’ve seen them in the background of photos of Danson and Highsmith, out of focus and eyes closed. They’re not heroes—they’re “the Other Guys.”
This was one of movies that I didn’t expect to be this good, I usually watch all Will Ferrel movies but this is just over the top. Every trailer and all the features of this movie had Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Samuel L Jackson at the front and Mark Wahlberg & Will Ferrel in the background as the retards of the police force. I don’t want to spoil the movie for anyone but it takes a hell of turn. The funny part is Mark Wahlberg was insane and funnier then anyone in the movie, the combination of him with Will Ferrel was fantastic. The story is great and the combination of these two guys is just insane, the best comedy of the summer period.
