The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name.
When they kept saying IMF I kept thinking International Monetary Fund but I kept reminding myself that this is some secret US Government Agency. We are back with Ethan Hunt, “Your mission, should you decide to accept it … This Message Will Self Destruct”. This time around the team are on their own, they are being framed for the destruction of the Kremlin and things are getting interesting. The action is nonstop stop from the get go and they go from one continent to the other trying to figure out what their enemy will do next. The action is great but the story was somewhat disconnected, it seems they wanted the action to top over thing else which it did and a lot of times things didn’t make any sense. Ethan Hunt could fight off a team of trained assassins but gets his butt handed to him by one evil genius with zero fighting capability. Still it was a lot of fun to watch and if you are looking for some action then this movie is it for you, and don’t expect too much from it.

Plot Summary: Seventeen years ago, several meteorites carrying seven types of alien crystals landed on Earth. Given the name of Sacred Seven, these crystals withhold the power to alter DNA and cause mutations. Inheritor of overwhelming abilities from this enigmatic legacy, Alma Tandoji is an unsociable 17-year-old student feared by his schoolmates due to several rumors of his violent behavior. He is contacted by Ruri Aiba, a rich teenage girl and CEO of the powerful Aiba Foundation, who pleads him to help her fight a mysterious enemy that very recently started causing massive havoc through the land.
Tandoji has this power that he has no control over until he meets Ruri Aida, how has a power that can help him harness his. This is one of those interesting anime’s that could have gone either way, a trouble young man with uncontrollable powers and people who wanted to cause damage, and he had the power to stop them. The story was off to a nice start and I was liking the characters, its always good to have that unknown factor, not knowing whats going to happen next. The problem was that they were trying to get a dark effect but throwing in some comedy at the wrong time. If the story was longer they could have made it a bit more complex and still kept the comedy, it was a very good anime to watch and I enjoyed it but it wasn’t consistent that was its only real fault.

My Adventures as the World’s Most Wanted Hacker
Kevin Mitnick was the most elusive computer break-in artist in history. He accessed computers and networks at the world’s biggest companies–and however fast the authorities were, Mitnick was faster, sprinting through phone switches, computer systems, and cellular networks. He spent years skipping through cyberspace, always three steps ahead and labeled unstoppable. But for Kevin, hacking wasn’t just about technological feats-it was an old fashioned confidence game that required guile and deception to trick the unwitting out of valuable information.
Driven by a powerful urge to accomplish the impossible, Mitnick bypassed security systems and blazed into major organizations including Motorola, Sun Microsystems, and Pacific Bell. But as the FBI’s net began to tighten, Kevin went on the run, engaging in an increasingly sophisticated cat and mouse game that led through false identities, a host of cities, plenty of close shaves, and an ultimate showdown with the Feds, who would stop at nothing to bring him down.
Ghost in the Wires is a thrilling true story of intrigue, suspense, and unbelievable escape, and a portrait of a visionary whose creativity, skills, and persistence forced the authorities to rethink the way they pursued him, inspiring ripples that brought permanent changes in the way people and companies protect their most sensitive information.
Kevin Mitnick was infamous to us nerds in the 90s, and I remember reading a bit about him back then when I was young. The image that comes to mind is the movie Hackers, and Swordfish from the ridiculous punching into keyboards and breaking into the NSA. In reality it isn’t like that, its just the flaws that these systems that Kevin managed to figure out and take full advantage of them. Starting from the 80s all the way to the mid 90s, and people were scared from what they didn’t know and they didn’t know what hacking was so they feared it. This story is far from technical and its rather exciting as you see how he dodged so many companies & the FBI and how he managed to infiltrate so many companies. Now its an even bigger reality we face a totally digital world and it is far from secure, it was a very entertaining read and picked up pace as it went along and you see what the government will do when they want someone, and a lot of laws are broken along the way.

China is plunged into strife as feuding warlords try to expand their power by warring over neighboring lands. Fuelled by his success on the battlefield, young and arrogant Hao Jie sneers at Shaolin’s masters after killing a rival warlord on their temple grounds. But the glory comes before a fall. His own family is wiped out in an unexpected turn of events and Hao is forced to take refuge with the monks. As the civil unrest spreads and the people suffer, Hao and the Shaolin masters are forced to take a fiery stand against the evil warlords. They launch a daring plan of rescue and escape.
This was one movie I was really looking forward to, any movie with Shaolin monks performing martial arts always interests me. But this case it was about a war lord who lost everything and joined the monastary he was first torturing and in that monastery Jackie Chan is an odd cook. At frirst I thought it would be a bit more comedic or exciting but still it was a very deep movie about a man who was an evil warlord and joins the monks only to fight the evil warlords. It gets interesting and you get caught up with it but I wanted more out of it.

While trying to avoid the clichés of Hollywood romantic comedies, Dylan and Jamie soon discover however that adding the act of sex to their friendship does lead to complications.
I thought this would be one of those kinda funny movies but it turned out to be a lot better then that. I saw No Strings Attached with Ashton Kutcher and was somewhat disappointed. This time around I was really surprised but this movie was nice and hilarious. Justin Timberlake pulled off his role perfectly, better then Ashton Kutcher who is supposed to be an actor. These two movies came out at the same time and this one was by far more hilarious and one of those easy movies to watch that makes everyone laugh.

At last I managed to make it to the new pizza place in The Village in Fintas, and I think this was the official opening of Upper Crust Pizza. As I expected when I got there the whole place was packe, a small complex of restaurants causing huge traffic in the area. The wait wasn’t that long at all, about 10 mins and we got a table outdoors and the weather was amazing. For those who don’t know Upper Crust Pizza was originally from Boston, and for the first time out of town it has opened in Kuwait. We tend to have a tendencies to have restaurants open in Kuwait before the rest of the region and sometimes before even Europe, and this is one of them.
The menu has two sides to it, one is the usual sets of pizza from Upper Crust and the left is a larget assortment of ingredients for you to choose from. We choose the Buffalo Pizza, Spinach Leaf, Veggie Pizza, Bubs BBQ Chicken, and a Calzone. The pizza arrived, all 14inches of it, one after the other so we had enough time to eat each pizza as it arrived and the Calzone was ridiculously good.
The staff was friendly and fast, the food kept coming one after the other. So many people were there ordering that by 3:30 pm they were out of Meat Lasange. Every time a pizza came out before ours did I was getting hungrier and hungerier so the wait for the food was killing me. They ordered a salad which I didn’t even bother trying, I was here for pizza and pizza is what I got.
For the first time visiting the place it really was as good as I hoped, even better. The thin crust pizza which didn’t make you regret eating it after your done. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the food was good. If you haven’t been there and you like pizzas then you are missing out because you will love it. Would I go back again, I did the next night and loved it.

Plot Summary: Humans live in the world of Assiah, demons in Gehenna. The two dimensions are not meant to interfere with each other, but demons still possess creatures in Assiah in spite of this. The humans who can fight these demons are known as exorcists. Rin Okumura is a boy who bears the curse of being Satan’s illegitimate son. His foster father sacrificed himself to save him from demons. To avenge his foster father’s death as well as to prove himself, Rin decides to follow the path of an exorcist.
This anime had the makings of a very good story, I for one do enjoy stories with Exorcists and demons even when it is a recurring theme in Japanese Anime. With Okumura it was entertaining, he was thought to be normal only to realize he had the blood of Satan flowing through him. I enjoy the comedic aspect and serious part of the story, always leaving you guessing. I enjoyed it but I wish they added a few more episodes to build it up even more and develop a few characters but overall it was a fun anime to watch.

Theseus is a mortal man chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against the ruthless King Hyperion, who is on a rampage across Greece to obtain a weapon that can destroy humanity.
From the makers of 300, a King who wants to destroy the Gods with the help of the Titans, and destroy anything in this path. Theseus is the one man capable to stand up against King Hyperion with the help of an Oracle and a few people on the way. The story doesn’t have the same gritty feel as 300 but does have sort of the same style, I was really waiting to see this Epic movie but it wasn’t as big as I thought it would be. Its a good story but there was something missing, it didn’t pull me in like 300, 300 gets your blood pumping and any man would shout at the top of his lungs at the final scene. I have to say that Mickey Rourke plays a really good bad guy, the perfect role for King Heyprion. The idea of the Gods of Olympus interfering with the Helenic battle was pretty crazy and something to expand on. I enjoyed the movie but I wanted a lot more out of it, its good but not an epic movie, no where near 300.

Six years after their Guantanamo Bay adventure, stoner buds Harold Lee and Kumar Patel cause a holiday fracas by inadvertently burning down Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree.
This is not your usual Christmas movie, Harold & Kumar have their very unique days and Christmas included. I enjoyed Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, but I thought Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay got a little over the top but still loved it, and they say third one is the charm and damn they are right this one is good. The best thing I can say for A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas is that it has left all pretense aside and does nothing more than be stupid, crass, rude, crude, offensive and absolutely hilarious. Things get rather raunchy with Santa Claus, some exposure to male genitalia, potential statutory rape and a drugged-out toddler. And of course plenty of weed humor that we all knew was coming.
This flick embraces balls-to-the-wall humor and the 3D element, having a lot of fun with situation and characters. There are quite a few laugh-out-loud moments and extreme situations. The 3D is thrown all over the place, taking full advantage of the gimmick but not relying on it. Honestly I think they were just making fun of 3D the way they were throwing it around, if you can watch it without it, if you have then its fine in 3D. This movie is just plain hilarious.

A comedy in which a married father accidentally switches bodies with his best friend, leading to a series of wildly complex difficulties.
The trailers for this movie looked good, but I’m happy they didn’t give the story away, it got a lot funnier and I like that it was rated R, these guys went to some disgusting extents for their roles. I’m a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds and Jason Batemen, they are excellent comedians and as a duo they really pulled this off. A lot of crazy stuff takes place that these two have to adjust to the switch but they each handle it differently with some hilarious results, great movie and some hilarious parts.
