I have always enjoyed the Die Hard movies so I have been looking forward to this movie since I heard it was going to be made. Bruce Willis plays the cop that has been around for a while and you can see what he has gone through after all this, and they make some ties to the past but there is a lot to follow in the story. Its an action packed movie with the needed Willis sarcasm and humor throughout. I couldn’t get enough of this movie, there were times I was laughing and there times I was amazed by the action and the usual John McClane ass kicking. Whoever likes action movies or likes the Die Hard movies will love this movie without a doubt. It felt good seeing Bruce performing in this movie and they did justice to the past movies.

I was honestly looking forward to the sequel of the Fantastic Four since the first movie was very well done and they were developing the characters at that time. This time it was more about what the Fantastic Four can do with their powers, and the introduction of a new character who throws things off such as the silver surfer. They did an amazing job with the silver surfer and you get to see what they are made of and what they can do. There are parts of the movie that they don’t follow the comics but that is what happens with a movie adaptation, they did stick to the original storyline as much as possible but they made some changes to accommodate the movie. Overall the story line keeps developing at a very steady pace and they did an amazing job with all the different parts. I really did enjoy what the Fantastic Four can do with their powers, and I really did enjoy the action involved with the Silver Surfer. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoyed the first FF movie, and for any comic book fan. You walk out satisfied with the ending, but you know there is going to be a third episode.

Michael Moore has done it again with this documentary movie jumping right into the American Health System. He wants to know the people affected by the American Health System which is run by the Health Insurance Companies. I have to say that he does bring in some really interesting information as to how these Insurance companies operate and what legnths they go to, to make sure they get their way. He also brings into play people who have been negatively affected by it and what the system does to make things this way in the US. The interesting part is that lightly skims over other health systems in other countries which is a different aspect compared to the American Health system. The one thing I felt it was lacking information to round it off, fine you hear stories about people hurt by the American Health System but there is more dirt there that he didn’t jump into yet, and comparing it just to the nice parts of other systems isn’t good enough in my opinion. Overall its a movie worth watching, but he could have done a better job with more research.

This is a true story about some young guys in California playing mobsters and gangsters. It is based on Jesse James who was the youngest drug dealer to be on the FBIs most wanted list. Johnny Truelove is the main character who plays the tough guy out on the West Coast, and one of his close friends is Frankie (Timberlake) and they are living the high life. Until one point Johnny kidnaps the little brother of a guy who owes him money. With different turn of events they befriend the kidnapped boy, but things are clear as to how they are going to turn out. This movie is better then I expected, and as it keeps going it gets better. I really wasn’t expecting it to turn into this type of crime drama, and things build up towards the end.

Another package from Amazon which made me real happy, but its funny this box had the MOI sticker as well. Its a delivery from DHL saying “For MOI Inspection” What inspection! Its only a couple of DVDs!! Why are they so persistent about the damn inspection when all they are doing is delaying the delivery. Honestly I’m happy they didn’t stop my box, but I’m still complaining because its a waste of time.

This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen, I heard about them a lot but I thought what was so great about them. I picked up these DVDs from the UK so I got the BBC version of this documentary. I started watching this as soon as I got back from Kuwait and after finishing all the volumes. The commentary is great throughout the whole documentary, and the visuals are nothing short of exquisite. I was mesmerized by what I was seeing, and I thought I knew a bit about the planet and the ocean but I was completely wrong, I have realized there is so much to see and so many beautiful places. There is a lot of areas covered in these DVDs, and you just go through the whole world sitting in your seat but you don’t feel like your sitting in your place, you feel that you are there going through every moment and feeling its amazing. I can’t recommend this enough to everyone, its fantastic.

There are two movies for the summer that I am looking forward to and one movie sequel that I am really looking forward to at this point.
This Summer:
Coming Out:
Fantastic Four is going to be a great movie with more action following the last movie which is going to be great, and I want to see the fight between the Silver Surfer and the Fantastic Four. The main movie for me this summer is Transformers: The Movie which I’m hoping is going to be a huge blockbuster and more sequels to follow. I hope they do the Transformers storyline justice.
Batman is another storyline all together since the first movie they were showing the Dark Side of Batman which was a huge hit, and now this one plays more on the role of Batman as the Dark Knight and his nemesis The Joker (Heath Ledger), but this is only coming out in 2008. I pretty much enjoy any movie Christian Bale is in since he does an amazing job as an actor.
This movie is from Simon Pegg who also did Shaun of the Dead, it is a story of a ace Police Officer from London moved to the most peaceful town in the United Kingdom. Simon Pegg plays this cop and is obssessed with being a Police Officer, he knows nothing but being a Police Officer. The way he goes about things in this movie is great, and the comedy slowly builds up. He is relocated to this strange but peaceful town and things seem odd to him, and his partner is the same partner from Shaun of the Dead. Things keep on getting stranger and stranger with the accidents taking place in this town and he is the only one that sees something in the patter, his partner is complete idiot and its fun watching. The movie is a little longer then I expected, but very entertaining, this is purely British comedy that crosses borders, and it is one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in awhile and its a really worth seeing, when the pace picks up it just keeps getting funnier.

Review:
Morgan Freeman plays the role of contract killer, and John Cusack is father trying to protect his son. Due to unforseen circumstances Freeman runs into Cusack while he is in custody of the local law enforcement. Freeman is trying to get his kill and Cusack has him under custody while Freeman’s men are chasing them. I was looking forward to the movie since I really like Morgan Freeman, but I really disappointed by the movie. It wasn’t anything special and at times it was boring, the story line was a little unrealistic, I expected more from Morgan Freeman.

This is one of the places I always stop by to check out whats on the charts for music and DVDs, also what DVDs they are offering deals on. At Virgin they had 3 for 20 and 5 for 30 on a lot of good movies, so I picked up a lot of good movies that I wanted to have. The great part about the place is that you can listen to any CD they have before buying it by scanning the bar code and listening to the music, and they usually update the database quickly so you can hear 13 to 20 seconds of the songs which is good.
