Review: Wonder Woman...

wonderwoman09

From the origins of Wonder Woman and how she came to the land of man. Living on the Island Paradise of Themyscira where no man is allowed and Hates the God of War is imprisoned for life for his atrocities against man. Its a story some are familiar with but if you are not, its very easy and fun to follow. How these woman trained all their lives to be strong, how Diana became Wonder Woman, and how she moved to the land of man. An action packed animated movie which keeps you tied to the movie. DC Universe has been producing some very nice animated movies and this is one of them, if you like these sort of movies, then this is really worth watching.

Shinjuku Incident – Jackie Chan...

I follow all Jackie Chan movies religiously, even if people think its a bit lame, I think he is amazing for performing his own stunts and being so lively in all the characters he plays.

Now this is a new movie which is a little different then what you would expect from Jackie Chan. This movie revolves around the tension between the history of the Chinese and Japanese which isn’t spoken of too often. Its story about a farmer working in China, who left for Japan to find his niece, whats very interesting is that you see the deeper side of the story because you get both the Chinese and Japanese actors. Surprisingly this movie has been banned in China, I am really looking forward to seeing it.

Review: Fast & Furious...

This movie has been worth the wait, and bringing Paul Walker and Vin Diesel back was the perfect choice. This is the fourth iteration of this movie franchise, the first one made a huge splash but this one is the best of the pack. A great story line, amazing driving and action packed car chases, with some great characters. You are kept at the edge of your seat through out the movie, I don’t want to ruin it for anyone but if you have any inclination towards cars, then you should really go see this movie, it is not to be missed.

Review: Traitor...

tratorposter

I always watch Don Cheadale movies because I know that he chooses these interesting characters. I know that I have gotten tired of the Muslim always being the bad guy in the movie, except when there is a great storyline, this movie had that and more. Samir Horn (Cheadle) was caught for terrorist activities in Yemen, joining up with the terrorists to get out of prison. All the while in the US communication activities indicate that there is an imminent attack on the US or US government facility, the government task force trying to piece things together. Roy Clayton from the FBI pays special attention to Samir, and is interested in him which leads them to their goal. This movie takes a completely different track then expected, even when you can figure it out its still exciting.

Green Lantern: First Light HD...

There have a lot of succesful animated movies such as Hulk vs Thor, The Invincible Ironman, Superman Doomsday, and lately Wonder Woman. I am huge fan of these animated movies, and at last they have stepped into the realm of the Lantern Core. A movie shall be made of Hal Jordan the Green Lantern, one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC Universe, a man who accept the role as protector of earth with no fear. It is no surprise that this movie is slightly tied in timing to the close release of the blockbuster movie, but I am really looking forward to the animated movie, especially from this trailer.

Review: Notorious...

notorious

Notorious B.I.G is someone a lot of us are very familiar with, we grew up hearing his songs on the radio and getting those tapes back in the day. I remember even watching the music videos on MTV when I was a teenager and bobbing my head to it, when I listen to song his songs I think about what they mean to me and sometimes when I first heard them. This movie revolves around the life of Christoper Wallace aka Biggie Smalls, and his experiences up to his death. First off the character they chose to play Biggie was a perfect fit, but Puff Daddy was pretty funny but he gets the charisma across. Who they chose for Tupac and how he came across was interesting, the story of Tupac and Biggie was brought across from Biggie’s point of view which you don’t hear much of. Why and How exactly Tupac and Biggi got killed is still unanswered. The movie is entertaining, gives you the different aspects of Biggies life in a two hour period.

Review: Bolt...

A dog who think he is a superhero wanders into the real world in the search of a friend. Bolt simply enough believes he has real powers and the people on tv are real enemies, until he runs into a few more animals. The movie just gets funnier and the best part is when Rhino the hamster gets introduced. As the story progress there is more action and the story unfolds, I find the pigeons to be hilarious, reminds me of one of our friends. This an enjoyable movie that you wouldn’t mind watching and get a few laughs out of it!

Fighting: Trailer...

Its not fight club but it is an interesting movie, Channing Tatum plays a guy out of money and luck, but he can throw a punch. Starting off with underground fights and rising to the top, the higher he goes the harder the fall. When there is organized underground fighting, there is money involved, lots of it. An action packed fighting movie, I’m looking forward to seeing this.

Astro Boy Trailer...

I remember hearing something about this but here it is. They have made Astro Boy the movie, I remember this back in the 80s when we used to watch it on TV. I don’t remember everything, but all I remember is that I loved this TV Show, and now they turned it into a movie. The animation seems really interesting, and they have chosen a certain time period in the future, looks like the future from the 50s. Check out the trailer at Trailer Addict, which looks pretty good, I’m just hoping they don’t ruin my memory of this tv show.

Review: Outlander...

After following this monster across the galaxy Kanon crashes into Earth, into the Era of the Vikings. He must kill the monster that wiped out his people and nothing is stopping in his way. These Vikings have their way and they have never seen anything like this, and they are have tried fighting it every way they know how, yet it somehow still survives and thrives. An action packed story which doesn’t stop, and throughout the movie you are entertained. It is a bit long but I really enjoyed all the action, if you are looking for a good action packed adventure movie then this is it.
