Trailer: Ninja...

A ninja hiding in New York is forced to confront his past when a brutal gang of Yakuza assassins uncover his identity.

Who says B-Rated movies aren’t a lot of fun, now this movie Ninja doesn’t have any major actors but still seems like a lot of fun. I remember also those ninja movies coming out in the 90s, but this one looks pretty good with the action and thats about it. I know I would watch it just because it has ninjas.

Review: Star Trek...

There is a lot that can be said about this movie, but I’m not going to spoil it for anyone, I only four words “Go SEE THE MOVIE”. J.J.Abrams has done an amazing job of making a Star Trek movie for the masses as well as keep all the little details of James T Kurk story, those who know the details will notice all the little things they placed in it. The action is fast paced and the story for being so rich doesn’t bore you at all, it keeps you interested at every point even though they had a lot of story to cover. The actors who were chosen for the roles were perfect in my opinion, or you could say their combination and flow was perfect and you could see it throughout the movie. I LOVED Simon Peg in the movie as Scotty, he fit it so perfectly its fantastic. Then there was the so many nostalgic moments from the music to some of the lines, it gets to you if you are Star Trek fan. Just an amazing movie, I can’t wait for the one after this one, I don’t know if J.J.Abrams is going to take the next one I hope he does.

Star Trek Movie in Kuwait...

Let me just say this, usually I boycott the movie theaters in Kuwait because of the butchery a film goes through. This time I have gotten confirmation that very little from the Star Trek movie has been censored, about 3 scenes have been cut which isn’t bad for Kuwait’s standard of censorship. If you have been waiting to see this movie as I have then go see it now, you won’t regret it. Another odd thing we have in Kuwait is that people who think that the Spandex suits that these characters might wear is too revealing then they complain to the Ministry of Information and they take the movie back in for another round of chopping, so the earlier you see it the better chances you have of it being shown with the least amount of cuts, at this point its only 3 cuts so go watch it.

Summer Movies 2009...

A lot of movies coming out this summer which are really worth watching, from the action packed to the comedies. Also some anticipated movies like Wolverine, Star Trek, Angels and Demons, Year One looks hilarious, Land of the Lost looks damn funny too, The Proposal looks good (its been a while since I have seen Sandra Bullock in a movie). Click the links to see the trailers!

  • June 5 — Guy-friendly raunch comedy The Hangover, more family adventure in Land of the Lost
  • 19 — Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds get rom-commed in The Proposal; Jack Black and Michael Cera go prehistoric in Harold Ramis’ Year One.
  • 24/26 — What has the stones to open near Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen?
Review: Underworld Rise of the Lycans...

I was a fan of the Underworld movies from the start, didn’t know it was going to turn into a trilogy. Kate Beckinsale didn’t have a part, Rhona Mitra was the female lead this time around. The story revolves as a prequel to the two movies, describing how the war between the lycans and the vampires started. I sort of expected an action packed movie but with a little bit more flavor to it. The action and storyline was good, it was a fun movie to watch but doesn’t come close to the other two movies. I think they had a more intriguing storyline because of the foreign concept of lycans and vampires combining. This movie was a bit of a disappointment in terms of the story but still a lot of fun to watch.

Snatch A Great Movie...

Snatch was one of those movies that left an impression, what a genius of a cast and story. Back when I really liked Brad Pitt, he had this edge to him. Jason Stathom was just an english actor, not a man with a body of steel. Its a story which delves into the British underworld and I just can’t get enough of the characters. Who would believe this movie is almost 10 years old, one of my favorite movies, check out the two minute Turkish scene.

New G.I.Joe Trailer...

The blockbuster movies for this summer are looking good, and I am one looking to G I Joe Rise of the Cobra. From the start all you see is explosions in every direction and an elite team put together to fight this threat. Again my favorite character from this movie is Snake Eyes, he is the definition of Bad @SS!

New Trailer: Transformers Revenge of the...

I can’t wait to see this movie, but I really wish they didn’t release this trailer. I’m anxious, and I do mean ANXIOUS to see this movie, and I’m usually annoyed by trailers which give away too much. Its like you have been waiting for this perfect meal and its right there in front of you, and its about to be spoiled. Lets just say the trailer gives you A LOT more info then before, and now there are different assumptions then before, its still going to be an action packed story and a lot to follow and I know I’m going to try to see it from the first day its out.

G-Force...

G-Force takes audiences on a high-octane thrill ride, proving once and for all that size really doesn’t matter.

I always enjoy these funny action packed Disney movies, now they have guinea pigs as secret agents trying to save the world. The mice in the trailer reminds me of a friend of mine.

Extract Trailer...

extract

Extract follows the personal and professional problems endured by the owner (Bateman) of a flower-extract plant, including a wife who won’t sleep with him, a new hottie temp and … Ben Affleck as a major stoner?

From the writer and director of Office Space, comes a new comedy called Extract. The trailer speaks for itself, but this seems to be a hit comedy from the quality of Office Space which I think is the epitome of corporate humor. I can’t wait to see this movie, I think its going to be hilarious just from the trailer.
