What more can you ask for in a cop comedy, it’s a Kevin Smith movie with some very funny characters. I have loved Tracy Morgan since 30 Rock, and this is just more of Tracy Morgan with typical kick ass Bruce Willis and they threw in Sean William Scott to make it even funnier. I don’t even know what the plot of the movie is, but I know its going to be funny and I’m going to watch it.
Raizo is one of the deadliest assassins in the world. Taken from the streets as a child, he was transformed into a trained killer by the Ozunu Clan, a secret society whose very existence is considered a myth. But haunted by the merciless execution of his friend by the Clan, Raizo breaks free from them…and vanishes. Now he waits, preparing to exact his revenge.
For those people who love martial arts & ninja movies then this should be at the top of the list without question, now for the of people its a mixed story. This is probably one of the bloodiest movies I have seen in a long time, its ridiculous how much blood the human bodies contains but not the amount they needed for this movie, body parts flying in every direction, chopped, cut, stabbed and smashed. The action was nonstop but the story wasn’t complete, there are two parts to it, Raizo and Europol, trying to connect the two didn’t fit so well together. I can understand the Ninjas having extraordinary powers being able to shift through shadows but at times it got a little ridiculous with some inconsistencies of the scenes. The storyline just didn’t feel so complete between all the characters, you didn’t get enough to fill in every part, you some of everything which isn’t right for this kind of movie. The story wasn’t the best, but the martial arts was fun, thats about it.

All this hype about Avatar 3D and all the manufacturers talking about 3D TVs coming out very soon, outfitting movie theaters with 3D projectors. There is one factor they keep omitting to talk about, its those tacky glasses which are in red and blue. The first 3D movie I remember watching was a Michael Jackson movie back in the early 90s/late 80s in Disney Land with my family, and those little things were flying around and I walked out with a headache.
I tried watching a few 3D movies after that but all I remember is walking out with a severe headache, and throwing those glasses in the trash. Its an added overhead for movie theaters, and to have those glasses at home just to watch TV. With TV manufacturers they need a new gimmick to convince people to buy these expensive TVs but you don’t really need it since it won’t be nicer that what you already have. TVs which 120Mhz @1080p is fantastic, the newer ones are causing a certain amount of blur but going 3D is not an improvement just a huge headache and tacky glasses for people, manufacturers need to sell more TVs fast and this is the best way they could think off.
Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people.
So much build up to this movie, all I knew that I was curious to see what the hype was all about, the trailers don’t tell you much at all. We didn’t watch it in 3-D because those glasses give me a headache so we went to watch the normal movie, when booking online on ReelCinenma in Dubai Mall every theater was packed, we went for a late night movie. From the start of the movie the graphics were fantastic, better then I even imagined but that was just beginning. Jake Sully is the first marine to control the Avatars, a biological combination of human DNA and the indigenous creatures of the planet. Jumping into the planet of Pandora there is so much to see, so many different creatures, an amazing flow of scene after scene, you are mesmerized by it. For 162 minutes of the movie my eyes were stuck to the screen for the graphics isn’t the only thing that holds your attention, the depth of the story pulls you in, at every point you are surprised my something new, the story keeps developing, so many peaks that you are kept at full attention. This story must have took a long time to develop, there is so much to it, the language development, the creatures, all the scenes, and a great combination of actors, a perfect fit. My expectations were blown out of the water, and this is a movie that everyone should see.

Ridley Scott, the Director of Gladiator, is now behind the wheel of the new Robin Hood. Some stories I can never get tired of and Robin Hood is one of them. I remembered the old Kevin Costner movie which was great, and then there was Robin Hood Men In Tights which was fantastic, but this one is a little more serious and I can tell from the trailer it’s going to be an epic movie. They are really jumping into the depth of the story behind Robin Hood, how he came to be, and Russel Crow looks like he is the perfect mean bastard for this serious role. And Gladiator is still one of my top ten movies of all time, and I still feel a shiver when I see that movie and hear those words come out of Gladiator “My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next”
And its out, the trailer is a total show of awesomeness, if ever I’m at a loss of words then this would be the time. When I saw this trailer all I could think was Holy @#$&@)#&$()!*&!
We see Robert Downey Jr. returning as Tony Stark, the now-outed billionaire who has built himself some sweet gear and a badass alter-persona in Iron Man. We also get an introduction to the man who will be after him, the vengeful Russian prisoner Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke), otherwise known as Whiplash. Scarlett Johansson shows up as Black Widow, if only briefly. Gwyneth Paltrow is back as the lovely and loyal Pepper Potts. And for the pièce de résistance for fans, we get a quick action shot of Iron Man fighting off what appears to be an army of robotic foes alongside his badass buddy War Machine (Don Cheadle).
This is insane, a 30 second promo for ET Entertainment but you can see glimpses of Iron Man 2. Iron Man & War Machine look bad ass together, I can’t wait for this movie to come out, I know I said I don’t want to see the trailer but I was lying this movie is going to be insane. I don’t know how they want to top the first movie but looks like they will be doing it. This is probably the most anticipated movie of 2010 and its well deserved, now just to get to May quicker now.
In G.I. Joe: Resolute, the raging battle between G.I. Joe and Cobra has never been more intense. Every life is at stake… and even the good guys can die.
This is no game.
Your favorite characters are back… but this time, no one is safe. No parachutes. No lasers. No rules.
All games end today.
Now you know… and knowing is half the battle.
A quality animated movie or tv show of G.I. Joe is long overdue, this picks up assuming you know a degree of the storyline. Cobra seems to be destroyed but something is brewing under the radar, and Cobra goes into full attack with G.I. Joes caught off gaurd. The best part is that the story jumps in Snake Eye’s past, you start seeing Cobra Commander’s plan coming together, this time around people are dying, it isn’t like before if the character dies then they are dead. And there is the usual big kick ass fight between G.I. Joe and Cobra, a great short movie and I’m looking forward to more episodes of G.I. Joe.

Now this is a cool move by Empire Magazine for their 20th Anniversary, they took a bunch of actors and took photos of them in their most iconic movies. Schwarzenegger with his bad ass shades, standing in front of his motorcycle looking like he did in Terminator 2. Mel Gibson is the best one out of all of them, and a few other mentions such as Gerard Butler and Christian Bale.
Check Out the Rest Below:
This isn’t a video that I would play in the office, but Michael Bay knows how to make his movies. In Transformers a humanoid Decepticon played by Isabel Lucas, and she proceeded to seduce Sam, piss of Mikaela and tear up an entire college campus. Unlike the other Decepticons she took a more deceptive form and now there are other beauties lined up for the Victoria Secret Ad.
