After a long week and one annoying meeting I had to attend in Dubai, I decided to take one small break which would take place on Friday. Met up with my cousin in Dubai while he was there with his family we decided to have a movie day on Friday, all day. Came in late Thursday night, the plane to Dubai was packed and so was the plane to Beirut, in the Wataniya Airways Lounge in Kuwait I kept saying hello to people. As soon as I landed I headed straight to The Address Downtown Dubai, which was also filled with Kuwaities. Had a light dinner and passed out, I knew I had a lot I wanted to do the next day.

We had a full day planned out which worked out perfectly, I wanted to try out the Chinese Restaurant in The Address called HAKUMU but I didn’t have a chance

I tried sticking to the diet, I had just a little too much food but didn’t have any soda. I will make up for this week but taking a break one day isn’t bad. After all that we passed out around 3:30 am but a very satisfying and fun day, we never had to leave the mall.

They always pick interesting women for the Bond movies, each one fits their role, previously they were leaning a little bit more to eye candy but since the 90s they played more pivotal roles. Now the new Bond Girls have been chosen for the new Daniel Craig movie and they look good, I’m not sure what the story is going to be this time but I do love those Bond Movies

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto has apparently signed on to the the film to play Bond’s new love interest, and Tron Legacy’s Oliva Wilde has been approached to play a double-crossing UN worker in the film, which will be based in Afghanistan.

This is as geeky as it gets for nerdy ideas, they have taken the alphabet and presented in visual form which relates to sci-fi or comics. Some of these ideas are pretty cool, some risque and the favorites being H and O. It takes a creative mind to put something likes this together, some are better then the others but still lots of fun.

There is nothing more that can be said, this movie is ridiculous and over the top, I love it!

Jay Z’s “Empire State of Mind” and Star Wars remix, all put together by College Humor and they did a fantastic job. I love the song in the first place with Jay Z and Alicia Keys but not Darth Vader taking the lead with Princess Leia. Never thought they could remix the whole thing into the coolest Star Wars lyrics possible of all the episodes into one song, just doesn’t get any cooler then this. The best parts were the Ewoks and the Storm Troopers, they just made the video that much better, seriously its a fantastic remix.

Now that The Human Torch or Chirs Evan has been chosen as the new Captain America all the other actors will be falling in line. I love that Hollywood has finally descovered the depth of all these stories that they have had for decades and they are being now. Thanks to X-Men, The Incredible Hulk and Spiderman, Ironman for knocking the ball out of the park, there have been a few bad movies like Dare Devil and Elektra but I still loved those too. Now Captain America has been put together with a solid script and the Red Skull is none other then “Agent Smith” from The Matrix. I just hope it is as good or better then the build up is turning out to be, just like Ironman the build up was good but the movie was amazing. And I love these fan mad posters, the perfect Captain America.

Synopsis:

A Viking teenager named Hiccup lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. The teen’s smarts and offbeat sense of humor don’t sit too well with his tribe or its chief… who just happens to be Hiccup’s father. However, when Hiccup is included in Dragon Training with the other Viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. But when he encounters (and ultimately befriends) an injured dragon, his world is flipped upside down, and what started out as Hiccup’s one shot to prove himself turns into an opportunity to set a new course for the future of the entire tribe.

The trailer made me want to watch the movie, but its a been while since I’ve seen an animated movie this good. I have been a fan of Dreamworks for sometime, but their bes movie was Kung Fu Panda, but now I think it has been topped by How To Train A Dragon. Hiccup is the oddball of the Viking country, not really thinking like them, having other ideas, and coming to other conclusions even though he stands out from all his countrymen. The story is original, its fun, and the characters are entertaining, watching it in 3-D is amust even though my eyes were watering halfway through the movie. I loved those dragons, if ever any kid had a dream one of them has to be to have a per dragon. The animation is so good you can see the expressions on all the different dragons, the funniest and coolest of them is Toothless, Hiccup’s dragon. Its funny how they mould together because of Hiccups mechanil skills to make such inventions to help him fly again, and bond together. I highly recommend this movie for everyone to see, it can’t be missed.

China is plunged into strife as feuding warlords try to expand their power by warring over neighboring lands. Now this is an interesting movie with a bunch of good actors, no clue about the subbing of the movie yet since it hasn’t been released but I love Shoalin movies. This type of martial arts versus those army brats who think they are better with a very deep story, how could it not be good. From the trailer I can tell a few things but still a bit confusing, I can’t wait to get this movie.

I read the novels of Crisis On Two Earths, Infinite Crisis, and 52 which are all put together from the original comic stories. So the I knew the premise of this animated movie and I had high expectations. The look and feel of the characters is somewhat built on the animated show Justice League and Justice League Unlimited which looks very nice but I wanted more for an animated movie such as this. There is so much to this story they had a lot that they can work with but they took a bit a simpler route since the story could get real complex. The action was fast paced and lots of fun, it wasn’t what I expecting but some good twists and great fight scenes. Its always fun to see how different super heroes fight, and for an animated movie its pretty good but could have been much better.

Batman still represents one of the coolest and toughest comic book characters out of all the comic book heroes. In the Superman vs. Batman debate I still think that its brain over brawn so Batman will outsmart Superman. Now for the Bat Pod from the Dark Knight its the coolest machine that I have seen, I wasn’t expecting something like that to come out of the monstrous Batmobile and how it came out as well. I think they need to utilize this machine a little more then they did in the next movie. This is a solid brass sculpture from The Nobel Collection with Batman riding the Bat Pod, its really amazingly detailed and I really like the look of it.
