I love cool martial arts movies and this one seems to be at the top of the list. Many people don’t know Scott Adkins, the star of the movie, but he is frequented in martial arts movies. Other then his many fun direct to DVD martial arts movies he was featured as the final Weapon X in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and he did kick some serious ass. Out of all the Undisputed movies this looks to be the best, I miss the old days when the stories revolved around the martial arts movie. I used to love those martial arts movies from the 80s like Blood Sport, KickBoxer. Best of the Best, and The Last Dragon, they just don’t make those type of fun movies anymore.

Slammin CLEON SALMON (Michael Clarke Duncan), the former Heavyweight Champion of the world, a mean, hard, crazy, and sometimes infantile bull of a man, owes $20,000 to the head of the Japanese Yakuza and needs to come up with the money tonight. So he challenges the waiters in the restaurant that he owns, The Slammin Salmon, a high end, boxing themed seafood eatery in Miami, to sell more food than theyve ever sold in their lives. Its going to be a contest between the waiters with some prizes and penalties: the top waiter gets $10,000 cash and the lowest waiter gets the tar kicked out of him by Cleon.

Very few movies know how to tie a ridiculous story with insane characters, and this one does it hilariously. From the makers of Super Troopers comes The Slammin Salmon, there boss is an insane boxer who pulverizes his employees working at the nicest restaurant in Miami. Its hilarious from start to end, and the best part is that most of the waiter are the cops from Super Troopers. Its not as funny as Super Troopers but still pretty damn funny with some insanely hilarious moments. If you want a comedy that will make you laugh your head off and your a fan of Super Troopers then you must watch this movie.

I thought this whole mess of movies ended with the Mega Sharks & Giant Octopus. There is nothing more I can say, it seems Giant Monsters are the movies to be made these days! lol

We all remember Gatchaman from back in the 80s, or the other name would be Battle of The Planets. It is one of the cartoons that we ended up growing up with, and unknowingly one my first introductions to Japanese Anime. Its very sad but Imagi the company that made Astro Boy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie seems to have shutdown its LA office and is barely getting by, making this project in the dead in the water. Astro Boy just didn’t get what it needed to survive and so the company has fell under the water as well which is very sad, from this trailer that has leaked onto the net it look to be an amazing movie, which isn’t going to be made.

The earth it about to come to an end as man kind knows it and their only savior is in a diner in the middle of the desert. I love supernatural stories and the possiblities that can come from them, even from the bunch of actors held up in this diner like Dennis Quaid, Lucas Black (Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift), Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights), and a few others. I thought this movie was going to be great, or at least entertaining. But it was far from it, the characters tried hard but the story just doesn’t add up and goes completely south, the idea was good but the execution was bad. It felt like parts of stories tried to mash together, and the ending was the worst possible, I was just not expecting the ending to make it even worse, I was annoyed that I was that time, and the only reason I gave it 1.5 stars was because of the effort of the actors.

I’m loving all these new Iron Man models that are being released, I know that all these companies are capitalizing on the Iron Man 2 hype but whats great is that they are really making highquality models. Hot Toys just keeps making it better and better, these toys are extremely detailed and articulate, its insanely cool. I can’t stop wanting more and more of these new toys, you can never have enough toys and these are just amazing. They went for a movie acurate model and came up with this highly detailed Iron Man 2 suit.

High school valedictorian Henry picked the wrong time to try smoking pot. His school is about to enforce a mandatory drug test for all students. Anyone who fails the test will be immediately expelled. Knowing that he will fail, Henry’s solution is to get the entire student body stoned, because there’s no way they’ll expel everyone, right?

Adrian Brody is one very diverse actor, I always knew he was good but this is really something else. From Predator to this a stoner movie, he is one damn good actor. And I enjoy these crazy movies such as these, one of my favorite movies is Friday and Half Baked, now to see how this movie turns out.

I’m a huge fan of Steve Carrel from The Office, and Tina Fey from 30 Rock, but being good on TV doesn’t necessarily mean they will be great on the big screen. Well in this case this movie turned out to be pretty damn funny, the combination of the two with all the other actors was perfect for their insane antics. A case of mistaken identity lead a simple couple who wanted excitement in their lives to become targets of a very bad man. The extent they go to get themselves out of trouble is hilarious, and the damage done to one car was painful. This movie has to be seen and preferably some where that they don’t cut 50% of the movies because of fowl language. Loved every moment of it.

This is one tricky movie, its hilarious how these guys go about their business trying to achieve their goals. Its probably one of the funniest movies about a sensitive subject, taking it from a different angle. It was shown the Cannes Film Festival the movie is slated for release on May 7th in the UK but I can understand that it might get slaughtered by the general public, I think the movie is hilarious and they do it with style. No international release date has been set yet, but I would love to see this movie.

Synposis

Whilst Jo (Emma Roberts) is chained down in a dead end supermarket job, her friends are all out on their own separate adventures: Cassandra (Tamsin Egerton) is jetting off to New York to meet her internet boyfriend; Kerrys (Shanika Warren-Markland) is on a one woman crusade fighting for female liberation and Shannon (Ophelia Lovibond) is on a one way trip to meet her maker. But a chance encounter with some diamond thieves sends their separate worlds on a collision course with not only each other, but fate itself. These 4 girls are about to have 3 days they will never forget, spanning to 2 cities. That is if they survive.

This movie comes from the British movie makers of Kidulthood and Adulthood, a mix of action, drama and a lot of lesbian kissing scenes. I really like the idea that these girls get into a huge heist and don’t know what they have gotten themselves into. Looks like their will be some insanity to unravel but lots of fun and action taking place throughout the movie. One thing I like about this movie is the raw feeling of the actors, it feels like these girls are doing something insane for the first time, and the guys feel like they are about to be killed for the mishap. Looking forward to its release on the 2nd of June 2010.
