As a police psychologist works to talk down an ex-con who is threatening to jump from a Manhattan hotel rooftop, the biggest diamond heist ever committed is in motion…
This movie turned out to be a twist with a large line up of characters, not just a man who will jump to prove his freedom but a lot more going on. I am a fan of Sam Worthington since Avatar, even after Wrath Of The Titans, he knows how to bring his character across. With so many twist and turns, and damaged characters in this movie it turned out to be even better then I expected, much better. The intensity of this movie is great, you don’t know whats going to happen next and things don’t always go smoothly which is one of the great parts of the movie sometimes things go wrong and Worthington is still try to prove his innocence. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
After so many delays and the bankruptcy of MGM, Skyfall is here at last, the release date set for November 9th. I can’t wait for this Bond film, I can’t wait for any Bond movie, and the ones with Daniel Craig just keep surprising me. This the first trailer for the movie, I don’t even know whats the story going to be but it looks like its going to be good.
Three high school friends gain superpowers after making an incredible discovery. Soon, though, they find their lives spinning out of control and their bond tested as they embrace their darker sides.
Take Superman and mix in Blair Witch Project and you get Chronicle. An interesting story which takes a different twist on Superpowers. For Andrew, Matt and Steve have stumbled upon something beyond their – or anyone’s – understanding. Their discovery leads them to acquire powerful telekinetic abilities; or simply they have superpowers. They’re now capable of, well, almost anything. They can move objects just by thinking about them, crush cars through force of will. They even learn to fly. It feels like a realistic twist on getting superpowers, and the way it is shot gives it that gritty feel. Chronicle is a new film unlike any you’ve seen before, it’s a superhero movie that’s not really a superhero movie.

Ferrell plays incumbent congressman Cam Brady who makes a major public goof that forces a bunch of wealthy CEOs to put up a rival for his seat in Congress in the form of Galifianakis’ Marty Huggins, the director of the local Tourism Center.
I love both Ferrel & Galifianakis, this movie is going to be hilarious!!!
The movies always pile up, I haven’t even gone through a third of the movies from the last list and I’m just adding to the downloads. So many good movies to see with Sherlock Holmes A Game Of Shadows, Chronicle, Coriolanus, and The Grey at the top of this weekend’s list. And this is the season for all those great movies that are coming out for the summer blockbuster so its a mix of movies. Plus I’m trying to finish up all the tv shows that are ending with a lot of them having amazing season finales.
This just made my day, and listening to Optimus Prime just sends shivers down my spine. Didn’t know that Hugo Weaving was Megatron, it fits that the bad guy from The Matrix is the bad guy for the Transformers. And Peter Cullen is the original Optimus Prime and they used him for the movies, the original and he sounds even better in the movie.
Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. brings together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki and his army.
This was it, the one movie that brought them all together, every super hero to form the original Avengers. The long awaited movie was very much worth the wait, and Samuel L. Jackson played Nick Fury perfectly, a hard ass with a tough attitude. The story depicted depicted a threat in front of them they did not expect or know how to handle, but they came together as a team to face it, and the best part is the trailers gave nothing away. I don’t want to ruin the story for anyone, but one of the best parts for me is that they didn’t over do it with any specific character, and they had a lot of them, you have seen their movies so you know who these guys are, and even if you haven’t read the comics the story comes across perfectly. 142 minutes of pure joy, the action was nonstop from the beginning, I loved the S.H.I.E.L.D super fortress, there were a lot of tense moments and the comedic parts were played out perfectly which I loved. If you have seen the movie, you should definitely watch it.

‘SOMETHING FROM NOTHING: The Art of Rap’ is a feature length documentary about the runaway juggernaut that is Rap music. At the wheel of this unstoppable beast is the film’s director Ice-T, who takes us on a deeply personal journey interviewing the biggest names in the game and uncovering how this music of the street has grown to dominate the world.
I have been a fan of Hip Hop & Rap since I was a kid, I didn’t even know what it was, I just knew that I liked it and I liked somethings more then others. For some reason I can relate to this music documentary and I am fan of ICE T, I just like the guy’s personality, cool and smooth.
There is an interesting mix of movies coming out this summer, a few less superhero movies then last year but still a very decent list. Leading the pack of course is The Avengers and thats something that is at the top of my watch list. Some great blockbusters movies like The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus and Spider-Man, and some great comedies like Neighborhood Watch & TED.
A young CIA agent is tasked with looking after a fugitive in a safe house. But when the safe house is attacked, he finds himself on the run with his charge.
A very solid movie from two solid actors, Denzel Washington can make any movie better, and I know a few people aren’t the biggest fans of Ryan Reynolds but he did a fantastic job in this one. Ryan stars the CIA rookie that in charge of a boring Safe House while Denzel is the bag spy that everyone is after. Things start to get interesting as Denzel surrenders himself to the US Embassy, and things just keep getting crazier and crazier, the plot always seem to thicken and Ryan & Denzel are at each other’s throats through the whole ordeal while being chased by men intent on killing them. The movie keeps you on your toes and I loved how it played out, Denzel has another great role under his belt.
