Shot around the world in 2010 and 2011 and narrated by Ewan McGregor, ‘Fastest’ captures the intense and thrilling reality of the MotoGP World Championship, documenting a pivotal moment in the sport. With Valentino Rossi chasing his tenth World Championship title the Italian ran into one of the toughest challenges of his career: a crop of exceptionally fast young competitors, a horrific leg break at his home race, and an amazing comeback little over 40 days later. Confronting such a monumental task and with rival Jorge Lorenzo taking the 2010 title, Rossi faced up to one of the most testing year’s in his illustrious career and along with his fellow competitors was left asking: Who is the fastest rider now?
Motorcycle Racing is one of the most dangerous sports out there, men riding side by side at an excess of 330 kph in corners on two wheeled machines. MotoGP is considered the best of Motorcycling, every team and company putting their riders on the line to becoming champions. I have always watched MotoGP on TV and I know its intense, but you can never really tell how it is or what they riders are thinking, and this is the main reason why I wanted to see this movie, you jump right into their paddocks, right behind them the intense moments. I have to say that having Ewan McGregor narrate throughout the movie is a huge plus, you can tell how passionate he is about MotoGP and the riders. You get a front seat view of how these riders became what they are and how they think, I loved it, it was brought together perfectly, the only thing that I wanted more was to see more. I would want another movie like this of these guys in the near future. On a side note this is the second movie the first one was a few years ago called Fast but I haven’t been able to find it online but seeing this one got my blood pumping so for any motorcycle fan this is a must see.

Fan films come and go but its a different story with a Hollywood actor who actually played the same character is something else. I am a huge fan of Thomas Jane as The Punisher and this short video only proves it, I love a guy who does somethings for the fun of it, they even got Ron Perlman to play a short role.
“I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.” — Thomas Jane

The folks behind Act of Valor are going scifi. Check out their first trailer for their mandroid film The Prototype. So far, this looks good! The movie follows a humanoid robot — who appears to be linked with his government scientist creator in some way — who escapes from its cargo hold and goes “rogue.”
Now this looks like a very cool movie. I love movies like these!
This just couldn’t get any cooler!!
All the Batmobiles in one area! Honestly I think if I had unlimited funds I would have the Batmobiles in my collection, all of them. The original was amazing, but the Tumbler is a beast. Nolan knew how to reinvent the Batmobile.
The heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.
General Aladeen is probably one of the most offensive characters that Sacha Baron Cohen has come up with and I loved every moment of it. I honestly think this is one of his funniest movies, Borat was funny because of the things that were being done to people in the most remote places it was a reality tv movie, but this went in another direction it was a movie, a ridiculous story with hilarious characters. One hour and twenty three minutes of pure laughter, and it does have its funny vulgar moments. If you are going to watch this be sure to watch the uncut version even if you have to wait, its worth it.

Pop Culture Central of Europe, the best place for any Geek/Nerd to visit while in London, I visit there on every trip I take to London and there is always something different to see or something that really excites me. Movie memorabilia of every kind, Comics, games and anime collectibles that you only see online, every Star Wars & Harry Potter fan would go nuts there. Still I never get tired of it, I could spend hours there, there is always something that I want to purchase but these days I am lacking space so I always choose items that fit or that make me think “MUST HAVE IT”
One section that people forget about is there HUGE comic and graphic novel collection down stairs, I picked up all of the novels by the comedian Kevin Smith, read a few pages and they are pretty funny and he is a funny guy so decided to take all his books. Then there is the Transformers section which have all the stuff dating back to the 80s up to the new things from IDW in 2012. They sold some fake weaponry which looked really cool but I didn’t want to risk taking that on a plane with me. When walking around upstairs I honestly don’t know what to pick up, I tell myself not to go overboard, I never have enough space in my bags but then I don’t reason well with myself and pick up a few things that I end up walking out with a smile, if your wondering what they are its the items in the last picture in this post.
After seeking out his fellow Star Trek commanding officers in The Captains, William Shatner is back with another documentary, this time focused on the fans. From the trailer, William Shatner’s Get a Life! looks like an affectionate examination of Star Trek fandom and why the franchise has meant so much to so many.
For all the Star Trek Fans out there this is a must, I still have to watch Star Trek’s The Captains, just makes me feel good seeing Star Trek. Since Enterprise went offline it was the last Star Trek show since the movie from JJ Abrahsm in 2009, and there is just something that I love about Star Trek. William Shatner plans to explore it in this fun documentary, I love his sense of humor.
The RoboCop remake is still more than a year away, but the OmniCorp website has been revealed, and with it the megacorporations line of enforcement vehicles, including the not-so-trusty ED-209.
One more year and the Robocop remake will be out, I remember how much I loved the movie back in the 90s, I just hope the remake does it justice, and I really like that they went for the Omnicorp viral information first, you can see the original evil robot, I don’t know what to expect from this movie but I am excited.
The RC-2000 When Human Resources Meet Robotic Engineering – I like that, could this be the new Robocop?

Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner.
I walked into this movie expecting to be blown away, I really liked Andrew Garfield playing as Spiderman and I avoided watching any trailers because I didn’t want to ruin the story or surprises. I just got annoyed with Tobey Maguire after the second one, the guy just felt damn annoying and he was a prick. This story started out different, not exactly 100% like the story and both Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy are cooler characters and smarter, I like how we saw the nerdier side of Peter Parker, and Emma Stone turned out to be a really good fit for Gwen Stacy. Martin Sheen & Sally Fields as Uncle Ben and Aunt May couldn’t have been a better pic, they were veteran actors with a lot to give and this time they are a larger role to play which I liked. It told a good story and I loved Andrew Garfield as Spiderman because he even had a damn good sense of humor and looked like he had fun playing Spiderman too but there was just one thing that was missing to this movie. The bad guy just wasn’t bad enough, or the build up between them just wasn’t what I was expecting, and Oscorp felt to be a side note. I liked the movie, but I wanted to love it, I just wanted more out of it.
