The trailer is finally out after so many delays, I loved the book from Max Brooks World War Z, but damn! This movie looks AWESOME, the zombies aren’t the slow moving dumb kind but scary is hell and it looks like a world crisis of epic proportions, I hope they do the book justice. Can’t wait to see this movie.
Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
This is probably one of the best movies I have seen in a while, there is a reason why I love Daniel Craigh as Bond, he is raw and rough. He says more with his facial expressions then he does speaks, he really knows how to throw a punch and those fights feel real. This story isn’t the typical world is in danger and Bond needs to save it, MI6 is hit and it is hit hard, Bond is presumed dead and M has to fight this out. This time around death doesn’t feel so light, its real and its a home. Bond comes back but he is human, he isn’t the perfect robot, he is human and there are some new characters that I enjoyed especially the ending of a certain change in government roles which I won’t mention. I’m liking the new Q he has the typical British Wit and they make fun of themselves with some of the ridiculous equipment they have had before. This movie takes a slightly different one but I like what they did with it, and I haven’t even gotten to the bad guy yet. The villain, a laughing lunatic called Silva (Javier Bardem), a suave Hannibal Lecter type whose motive is revenge against MI6 for not appreciating him. This movie has its slow parts but carries a more serious tone then its predecessors and for once we know for sure there is going to be a sequel and I hope its sooner rather then later. With this I feel that Daniel Craig is the only Bond actor who has stepped out from the shadow that was cast by Connery, he has proven himself a capable Bond.

I still haven’t had a chance to go but when I was trying to go it was a lot harder then I expected. I was told their website was online, and I went to it but the booking system wouldn’t work all week long. I called a few friends and I was given the direct number to them which we called yet no one picked up. I wanted to experience their VIP seating and watch SKYFALL again.
The only option we had was to go over there, and when we did on Friday around 1 pm and it was packed, I mean a lot of people in Al Hamra Mall. By the time we got to the counter turns out that all of VIP was sold out for all of Friday and Saturday which is insane. I felt that I wasted my time driving over there to get tickets. I know that Grand Cinemas is new but they are not a new type of company, and the people running it are experienced, and they even delayed the launch a few months so I would have expected them to get their act together if they were delaying it. But come on, the phones don’t work and online doesn’t work, that’s just disappointing. I know that I still want to go but the hassle of going is annoying.
A male stripper teaches a younger performer how to party, pick up women, and make easy money.
I honestly thought this movie was a comedy with Channing Tatum. A bunch of guys stripping and making money, I thought there was a comedic element to it. I was wrong, this movie turned out to be pretty crappy and a waste of time, won’t be able to get my 1 hour and 50 minutes back. It gets one star for having the guy of White Collar in it.

A long weekend is coming up and you have to throw in a few movies while its here. These are the ones I have in hand at the moment, but then there are the ones that are in movies, but I wouldn’t watch a censored movie. Surprisingly the one I really want to see is Something From Nothing The Art Of Rap which is a very cool rap documentary, another documentary about the hacking that went on last year is We Are Legion, the rest of the movies are the usual entertaining ones for the long weekend.
This is going to be EPIC! I love Iron Man and this just looks amazing, I don’t know which storyline they are following but I can see the Iron Patriot. April 2013 is just around the corner.
Two young officers are marked for death after confiscating a small cache of money and firearms from the members of a notorious cartel, during a routine traffic stop.
From the makers of Training Day comes End Of Watch, another police action thriller that really blew my expectations away. I love the way the movie is filmed and the two characters are fantastic in the movie. It feels like a cross between live filming and an action movie, very gritty. There is a lot of story to tell in a short time, and they do that by jumping around in the timeline which somehow fits perfectly. You feel the intensity of the quiet situations in this movie and things take a turn for the unexpected. This movie was more then I expected and somehow I think it topped Training Day, a must see movie.

In Manhattan, a bike messenger picks up an envelope that attracts the interest of a dirty cop, who pursues the cyclist throughout the city.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is becoming the actor that everyone wants, he is alot of blockbuster movies this year and it seems he might have another role to play in Batman which I won’t spoil. In this one he is a Harvard Graduate who can’t seem to stop riding his bike fast, as a bike courier in New York its the perfect job for him, until he picks up a package that the wrong people want. Its a fast paced action movie with a very different perspective to New York. Very fun and easy to watch, with a few nice twists.

An elite team of Navy SEALs embark on a covert mission to recover a kidnapped CIA agent.
This isn’t your usual movie, and the people recruited for this movie were real soldiers, this isn’t an Oscar movie, it has a real feel to it and a few actors in the right place. The movie revolves around a US Navy Seal Team, and then they slowly piece together a threat against the United States which in turn puts them in different areas to fight for more intel and the bad guys. What these guys lose in acting they make up for in passion, and at some points it feels like the game Battlefield Modern Warfare, you are right behind the scope from point to point against the bad guys. Don’t expect a high level of acting just enjoy the simple story and the ridiculous action. Worth watching if you have the time.

A distant Federation outpost Fort Casey comes under attack by bugs. The team on the fast attack ship Alesia is assigned to help the Starship John A. Warden stationed in Fort Casey evacuate along with the survivors and bring military intelligence safely back to Earth. Carl Jenkins, now head of the Ministry of Paranormal Warfare, takes the starship on a clandestine mission before its rendezvous with the Alesia and goes missing in the nebula.
If you were a fan of the original movie or like anything remotely science fiction then you MUST watch this movie, this CG animated movie puts any and all Starship Troopers movie to shame. A great storyline, fantastic characters, and probably one of the best CG animated movies I have seen in a while. You get pulled into it and this time there is a lot crazy characters, and the bugs are just as real, at different points in the movie you forget that it’s animated and not real. For any science fiction fan this is a must watch, its worth every minute, now I’m hoping there is a sequel to this because it was just too good to end just here.
