These are the best pair of riding boots that I have ever had. I have had the Sidi and Alpinestar racing boots. These boots are amazing, I dont even go riding without them now. They provide a huge amount of protection and are still flexible when you are moving around. I have had them for over a year and half now and they are fantastic.
So last friday I went riding with Mark since we had sometime I woke up from his phone call in the morning, it was good since I told him to call me when he gets up so we can go riding. And the phone was right next to my head, so we said we would meet up at Marina at 9:45am in the motorcycle parking to go riding for a bit. After showering up and getting into gear I realized that I was out of gas so I headed straight to the gas station and then I took the sea side from Bida’a all the way to Marina to catch Mark in the parking lot. While we talked for a bit to decide where to go a couple of Indian tourist asked if they could take pictures while on my bike, I was like ok and it was one funny site.
Then we decided to go to Hilton Manguf since it would give him a chance to ride on the highway and get used to it with as little traffic as possible. So we took the gulf road down to the 2nd ring road to fill up gas and then get on Fahaheel highway from the 3rd ring road and then straight to Hilton Manguf. I was looking straight ahead, but I was checking my side view mirrors every 2 seconds to make sure Mark was doing fine, and even though we werent going fast at all there were some assholes on the road were tailgating him but I was surprised that he didn’t notice when I asked him. So a few times I would brake so I would get close to Mark and force the car back. He then asked me why I was doing that and then we realized he didn’t notice some of the cars that were tailgating him. One of the reasons is that the side view mirrors vibrate so much that its a blur and you can’t see behind you, and its not the speed really its the engine revs that get the mirrors vibrating so much.
My Scorpion Helmet has arrived and its one hell of a beauty. I like it because its got the same interior as my Matt Black Scorpion Helmet, so I have no problems with the fitting. Its just going to be good putting the helmet on riding around. Its comfortable around the cheeks, and I already switched the clear visor for the dark visor. What I like about these helmets is that you can take the inner lining out of the helmet and wash it. Which gives it a nice clean feeling when putting it on. I like the pattern on the helmet and matte finish it has, it gives it a different look which I like. I just hope the wind dies down a bit over the next couple of days.
It came out at last! The MV Agusta F4CC is here! Made by Claudio Castiglioni with every resource he could get his hands on from technology to materials. It was made as an art piece as well to out perform everything out there. This is made for those who are true enthusiaists and want something extremely special and different. Only 100 of these motorcycles are going to be made and each one with its certificate of origin, each time an owner recieves one it is more like a ceremony then a sales transaction. Each of these machines will cost around 100’000 Euros and it is worth every penny. This machine has a slightly similar look to the MV Agusta line, but 90% of the components are tailor made for this motorcycle. Every consideration was taken to make this one the best motorcycles on the road, and every material hand picked to make it of exquisite quality. I will probably never get to see one let alone ride it, but a rider can dream.
If your going to london anytime soon and you are not carrying a lot of things then I extremely recommend getting the Virgin Limobikes. Im going to try this as soon as I go to London, they do airport transport or in London transport. I was surprised about how reasonably priced they are compared to taxis.
They can get you anywhere in 20 mins in town since they get around traffic very easily and get to the front. They also have enough area to carry some small bags nothing too big. I recommend one friend to do this already and he had a blast, he told me that was the most exciting thing he has done in London in a long time. He managed to get to a meeting in under 10mins and they got him home in under 15 mins which usually takes 25 mins if he is lucky. And these guys are experts in city traffic riding. They also take Richard Bronson from point to point sometimes. The cost is reasonable ranging from £25 to £40 when your in and around London, and transport to Heathrow from London is £60 which is extremely reasonable for getting you there in amazing time. Try it people you wont regret it.
Bimota has done it again, but they have reengineered the way motorcycles work at this point. Extraordinary work has been put into this motorcycle since it is a center-hub steered motorcycle. I’m extremly intrigued by this motorcycle since it has the new Ducati engine, thats what the D in 3D stands for, and it is very light. Only 29 of these motorcycles will be made and they are going for $38’000. I was expecting a lot more expensive, but they priced it based on the workmanship. Bimota keeps coming up with more and more beautiful motorcycles.
To start off the day it wasn’t too bad going to work since it was cold and crisp! I put my laptop in my back pack and headed off to work. It seemed sunny from my window. The one thing that I didnt see until I was riding was the heavy fog and I have to say that its a bit freaky not being able to see, and the streets were a bit damp so I was taking it easy while I was riding, and since I could only see so much in front of me I was playing it very safe and looking beind me as well so I could avoid any idiots thinking the road was empty.
After finishing up work I took to the Gulf road and I just wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather! The cold weather with this sunny light couldn’t get any better. I started the on the Gulf Road from Shuweikh and took it all the way to Marina Cresent for my first stop. I think I like stopping there because its a bike friendly mall and extremly nice setting just to relax for a bit before continuing the ride.
There was a crowd at Marina Cresent with a big event, it seemed like NBK was there and Wataniya so I just stopped for a quick bottle of water.
When I stopped it was the first time I see three Honda CBR 1000RRs, and there was a brand new black one which was very nice. I really like Japanese bikes but in Kuwait the companies that sell them don’t have good service so Im not into them that much. I especially liked the black one since it was clean and new, Im just hoping the owner doesnt damage the bike. It hurts to see a damaged bike or someone who doesn’t take care of their bike. It was a nice ride after work and then I headed home to sit with the family before lunch.
Im the type of person that can’t stop loving the heart that people put into their work! You have to love it, and this is one company that I really enjoy looking at the pieces of art that they keep producing. The two motorcycles that Confederate Motorcycles make is the Hellcat and Wraith. I would lean more towards the Hellcat because it has that menacing and scary look when its standing in front of you. You shouldn’t be decieved by their design they are quite capable motorcycles especially the Hellcat, it looks good as well as handles really well. These machines go for $40’000 and above. They have the 1950s look to them with 21st technology design and technology, its a great creation of the creative mind.

This is going to be a good day! Reminds me of being in San Francisco when its just one of those days I look forward to freezing my butt off on the bike! Its been three weeks since I had the chance to ride but damn today is going to be good. For those who want to know Im going to be on the Gulf Road between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.
Description:
I dont think Im missing anything but this time Im giving anyone a window who wants to spot me on the road. You might see me or a black blur depends on your luck. Now you see me .. now you dont!
The funny part is that Im not even thinking about work.
I dont know how long it has been since I rode my bike, but all I know is that I need to get on my bike and ride post haste. I dont know how long it has been since I rode but it feels like it has been ages. I rode a bit I think on Friday morning but its still not enough for the amount of riding that I want to do. I want at least a 3-4 hours of riding in dry cold weather. Im looking forward to riding in the cold weather because stopping at a light will warm things up and now I can wear some material under my jacket which keeps me warm, and the Dainese leather jacket does a fantastic job of keeping the cold wind from really affecting me.
I need to ride to get the stress of work out, to get some private time, and to think about all that I want to think about. Its like restarting your PC. Having it nice and fresh after restarting it, and thats how Im going to feel after a good ride. I don’t mind the cloudy weather, I would rather it doesnt rain so I can enjoy my time a bit.
