A full length 10 meter tall real scale Optimus Prime built in China, looks like they won’t be shown up by the Japan and their Gundam. They went ahead and built this amazingly detailed full scale Transformer, and the one and only Optimus Prime. Can’t believe they made something so awesome out of junk yard cars.

I don’t know what these custom builders are up to, first it was Omega Supreme, and now the Dinobots Combinior “Extinction”. Frenzy_rumble, the artist behind this model, put together an idea he had about the Dinobots and created this awesome model. Previously I always just remembered Grimlock and the Dinobots, they were clumsy but they were powerful autobots, not the smartest bunch but you wouldn’t want to be on their bad side. This model is a combined version of all five Dinobot the limbs, Slag, Snarl, Swoop and Sludge, form around their leader, Grimlock, who forms the torso and combine into the massive robot “Extinction.” I love the “DYNO” and “MYTE” on each hand!
In the original fiction, the Dinobots were the Autobot’s wrecking crew. If it was big and needed to be dead in minutes, you’d call for these boys, but unlike other subgroups that came later, one thing these guys couldn’t do was combine into a bigger robot. Customizer frenzy_rumble aims to change all that with this beautiful piece of toy.

Predators movie is around the corner, and with it comes the release of the Berserker Mask. Many may not know of the Berserker Mask yet, but it is the mask of the most fearsome Predator yet, a lethal killing machine. I’m looking forward to seeing the Predators movie, I have been a huge fan since the first one, and I loved how they are noble hunters from Predator 2 with Danny Glover. I like how they have personalized the mask a bit when before they only had one mask, not really distinct. I can’t wait to see this movie, its bound to be great, hopefully great enough to make us forget all of the AvP movies.

“You have been called upon to serve, you will be trained…and you will become the best we can make of you. You will be the protectors of Earth and all her colonies.” – Dr. Catherine Halsey, Halo: The Fall of Reach
Just as the new Halo is coming out they are introducing the new McFarlene line of toy models. These are members of the Nobel Team, matching players from the story line in the game. Some match the players from the game and some match the multiplayer players. Sometimes I wish the different looks would result with different characteristics for the players, but usually in Halo that doesn’t matter. These figures are really cool and to be released around September, just around the release of the game. I’m just hoping to see cooler looking models at a later period.

To me Omega Supreme represents the strong arm of the Autobots, the power house to push back even the mighty Devastator of the Decepticons. He is involved in several storylines, and I have found him in Transformers Comics on my iPad but haven’t read the whole thing. I have always thought that he is one of the coolest Autobots, up there with Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime, and Ultramagnus. Now uuser from TFW5000 forum was so impresssed by Omega Supreme in the comics and Transformers: War on Cybertron Game that he took to make a detailed model unlike ever seen before. What I love about these guys is that they make the most interesting custom Transformers and some more life like then you expect, but this Omega Supreme is amazing, and can be purchased on Ebay for $3000.

A Gigantic Lego Imperial Shuttle, over 2000 bricks and its huge, 71 centimeters tall and 55 centimeters wide. I would love to get my hands on the Lambda-Class Imperial Shuttle from Lego coming out in September, I have had this hunger to put lego together for a while, and I have my Ducati 999 and now I think I will make this purchase as soon as its released. I think that Star Wars is cool and Lego is cool, and the combination of them is just irresistible.

This is the coolest thing that Japan has ever done, they still have the full scale 1/1 Gundam in Japan and now they have moved it to Shizouka. Shizouka is the manufacturing headquarters of Bandai models that make the Gundam models for distrubution all over the wold. Its supposed to open in July and stay until Jan 2011, I love that they keep moving it from city to city since last year and notice how many people want to see it. Some time it isn’t just about the numbers, sometimes its about the passion for it, and the Japanese have a passion for big robots and especially the history of Gundam, I still hope they have it around long enough for me to be able to visit Japan and see it.
Bruce Wayne as Batman kicks ass, he is really superhuman in that suit but now DC has taken a different angle. I’m not really following the whole comic line of Batman at the moment as it has gotten pretty confusing at times to follow them. Now DC has taken a new timeline for Bruce Wayne or to be exact, a Bruce Wayne in every time line, various Batmen of the line: Prehistoric Batman, Witch-hunter Batman, Wild West Batman and the dreaded High Seas Batman. In my opinion the Pirate is the coolest of the bunch, with the cowboy following right after.

A lot of the model companies are releasing some cool old school robots, I have my share of Mazinger Z & Great Mazinger, and now they have released these two cool models. It doesn’t help that both of them are AWESOME in their setting and I love the accessories that go with them, the background of those photographs make them look larger then life. I recently I was watching some old school anime and they are still good to this day. I heard that they may be doing an anime revamp but I just hope they don’t take too long to do it, it would be fantastic.

The other day guy I got a text from the guy working at Bou Saleh’s Anime Shop in Muthana that they got a new shipment of items to check out. So I decided to go check it out on the dusty day since I haven’t picked up a model in sometime, and they had a nice selection to see. Whenever I walk in there I feel like a kid in a candy store, I want a room like that with all the models.
After taking a look around I picked up a couple of Gundam Models, the Gundam Unicorn is brand new but the Shin Musha Gundam has been around for at least a year now. Both are really unique machines, one is based on the new anime and other one is based on a battle samurai. Being Master Grade means it will take a lot of work to put these guys together, usually I try to stick to ready made ones but they were really cool and so I picked them both up. I know that I probably won’t have the time these days to put the models together but I will some time in the summer and they will be cool looking for sure. But I have no place what so ever to put them but that isn’t a factor when I get them.
