I remember playing City of Heroes about 3 years ago and I had pretty cool character. He was something between a touch superhero who could really kick ass, I remember going on quests with so many people, joining a guild and fighting these big battles, some of them were impossible, and the best part was advancing your character. I remember playing that game hours on end, it was probably the last game that I really played full on for about a year. Then it just took too much time for me to play, you can’t just play it for an hour or two, it really sucks you in and I was sitting in front of the PC for at least 6 to 8 hours and getting very little sleep.
Now it seems NC Soft has a new offer that you can revive your super hero or super villan for free until the stroke of midnight on Sunday or you have to pay to have your account revived. Whats cool is that this game has been going for five years and recently they developed the game so that the players can create and rate quests and it has created a new adventures for all these players, and they are loving, an ingenius move.

Its been a while since I have gotten addicted to an online game, but the creators of this game have made an interesting fighting game. You create a character to fight other people online and depending on the character you create he has certain characteristics. When I was making my character I was thinking about having a monk who is a martial artist as well as bad ass. Then there those who go for the Mr T look, there are also lots of girls who are fighting as well. Its pretty cool if you have time to kill, you can challange MZ Top (Name of My Brute) at the link below, so go ahead and try. Once you click the character you want to fight, it turns into an animated fight which depends on your characters skills, special skills, and weapons!

I’m always curious to see what other people’s avatars are in XBox, especially my friends and someone came up with a fun tool to find that out. People can get really creative with their online persona, I know I wasn’t too creative with mine but I do enjoy the look.

I still play Halo 3 and so many people play, but you don’t realize how much until you put some numbers to it. 1’000’000’000 multiplayer game (4 player) has been played but the crazy part is the amount of time played to reach that number of games. It comes to 2,023,153,340,764 seconds to complete, which adds up to 64,000 years. I will still keep playing Halo 3 for a long time until I master it and be able to snipe people while sticking people with grenades and flying through the air.

This is probably rumors flying around regarding this MMO, I’m even confused as hell as to which studio is working on it. But wouldn’t it be cool to play your favorite Marvel character. I would probably be Colossus or Dead Pool or Forge, I know someone would usually go for the conventional characters but these guys are fantastic.

I am addicted to Real Time Strategy games, I love building up the army and sending them in. I’m still getting the hang of Halo Wars since its the first RTS I play on a console, usually I only buy RTS games for PC like C&C Red Alert 3. I know that the best two coming out are Star Craft II and Diablo III, I’m getting anxious for those games. I won’t be sleeping much with those two games out, even with C&C Red Alert 3 I spend at least two to three hours per mission, and that isn’t even in multiplayer mode.
It seems Microsoft UK has gone down an interesting road in its PR campaign for Halo Wars. A little skin of the “Biggest” Halo fan in the UK with a Halo Wars tank top isn’t the smartest thing in the world. It seems a well planned PR campaign went down the drain, and its not that men won’t like this but they aren’t giving gamers the credit they deserve, some skin doesn’t even sell more games, its the content and the quality of the game. You would think they would know that from Gears of War, Gears of War 2, and Halo 3 which are still chart toppers and keeps people playing XBox 360. Also I think it would be good if Amanda would hold the controller to the screen, at least make her look like she knows how to fire a rocket launcher or stick a grenade to the enemy!

Who isn’t a fan of Street Fighter! I love those games and I only watched the Anime series because of those games. Many games spawned after Street Fighter but none could copy it. This review by wired magazine is getting me excited, simply enough the graphics are amazing the gameplay is fantastic, they have simplified it just like the old days and there are the complex moves so you can annihilate people once you get the combination going you are unstoppable.
It will be on sale in Rihab for around 25 KD to 35 KD, depending on the regular or special edition.

Halo Wars has been in development for a while now and at last Microsoft has released the demo. It is available through XBox 360 Marketplace, its over 1GB so assume some time to download. A lot of people are having trouble downloading to their computer due to all the people waiting to download, I just hope its worth the wait.

There are a few games on the iPod Touch that I am really enjoying, its meant to burn some time whenever waiting. And there are a few games that I do look forward to but this is something really different. A full featured SimCity for the iPhone/iPod Touch and somehow they managed to make it work the Apple Touch instead of being a problem. It seems they have made it work and its going to be released this month, I will want to try it out but would probably require a good amount of time to get things going in that city.
