TMNT was released at the same time as the movie and has some relevance to it. This is one of those games that you get but you have to be into the whole thing to enjoy it in the first place. This game revolves around your skills in controlling each of the ninja turtles (Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello). It involves lots of acrobatics and fighting skills to get used to the game. It is a combination of a race and how fast can you beat the “foot” soldiers. The whole point is to follow the story line and enjoy the whole thing. There is a bit of repetitiveness in it but I still found it very enjoyable. What is different is your ability to switch characters in mid-missions, also the ability to use cooperative acrobatics and attacks, what is important throughout th game is timing your actions and that helps you to complete the game. If you aren’t into these types of Action games that avoid this game because once you complete it there isn’t much to it, but I found it really enjoyable while playing the whole game. It is relatively easy compared to other action games, and I finished in 4 hours and 10 minutes over a couple of days.

Now with Sony’s Firmware update for the PS3 you are able to stream media from your PC to your PS3 to play on your screen and sound system. And another feature added to the PS3 is 1080P upscaling which is an added plus for any DVD player.
A rumor that has been going around is that Sony may upgrade the PS3 to have an 80GB Hard Drive in the next few months, we shall see how true that is.
So my X-Box 360 went on the fry and started scratching my discs, and so I went to Rihab with my X-Box 360 in tow. I went from shop to shop and none of them said they can fix the X-Box 360 or they don’t know what the problem is. What they are used to is an X-Box 360 getting the red ring of death so they don’t even bother fixing it.
So I decided to purchase an X-Box 360 Elite since they had a couple around, the prices ranged from 340 KD to 250 KD. I picked mine up from Kuwait Toys Center for 250 KD, and 3 games for another 50 KD.
I went home and started putting the machine together, it was really simple and same as usual. Its just all black as well as the 120 HD being dark grey. I had to install the 20 GB Hard Drive onto my X-Box 360 Elite to use all my saves, profiles, and downloads since the transfer kit didn’t come with this console. The only difference is the HDMI and the 120 GB Hard Drive, it was just a little quieter as well.
I picked up 3 games:
After I got back and plugged everything together, the new X-Box 360 Elite just said my “scratched” version of Gears of War is too messed up to work, which really drove me nuts! I really wanted to get online with the game but I couldn’t, so I have to buy a new version of the game!
I had a few things planned to watch but the highlight of the night is 24, that is what I was looking forward to all week long. I downloaded the MKV 720P version of episodes 23 and 24 on Tuesday to watch on Wednesday night. When I started burning the episodes to DVD the programs said it would take 5 hours for both episodes, which is a lot longer then usual, usually its 2 hours to convert and burn to DVD.
So when I started the converting and burning process Wednesday morning after it finished downloading I started the process and left for work. When I came back it said the file fragmented at the end and so the burning process got canceled and I had to start up again. The whole system was acting extra slow, so I found that a bit strange. I restarted the system and tried it again, and it said that the file was fragmented and so I had to find another solution. I know my DVD player plays DIVX files so I tried burning the episodes straight to DVD on another PC while the main computer continues with the converting and burning.
Then my main PC crashed, and I tried sharing my media to the X-Box 360 through the network but it wouldn’t play any of my files since they were MKV files. I was going nuts, then I tried one last thing which was burning each episode as a DVD on its own and cross my fingers. Then the X-Box 360 wasn’t playing my games, it wouldn’t play Ghost Recon, or Gears of War, and then I noticed it scratched my disk. I then tried I game I don’t like it and the damn thing scratched my other disk as well. So my X-Box 360 went out the window since only Microsoft in the US can fix an X-Box 360 which starts scratching disks.
So two things weren’t out that night, but I was keeping my fingers crossed and later in the night I managed to burn 24 Episode 23 on one disc and Episode 24 on another disc. I was very that worked out but now my X-Box 360 is out of commission.
I have been trying to get the wireless internet to the basement for the past few months but no luck since being two floors up and a lot of concrete really doesn’t help the signal. The reason I want to get internet down to the basement is to play X-Box Live and to stream media through my X-Box. I have connected two Cat-6 cables from my room through the pipes to the basement, and I connected to the router.
X-Box has just anounced compatibility with H.264 and MPEG-4 which is what most of my media is, so now I can stream my shows directly throw it. I know that there is the XBMC that was developed for the early X-Box with lots of compatibility, but I dont want to use the old one. This May update has done a few things I wasn’t expected such as stopping the ability of downloading HD Trailers which is really annoying. I’m currently happy with the X-Box 360 and I really enjoy the online gameplay.

After so many years Blizzard has now decided to reintroduce one of the best games of the 90s! Starcraft 2 is coming out with a different type of gameplay and amazing graphics, if you should play any game this year it should be this game. They are introducing some new ideas into this game and it seems very close to the original! I just hope they don’t ruin any of the old gameplay, I would really like to play this on one player first and then let the LAN games begin!
I have been looking forward to the May Update of X-Box Live since then I could stream different types of media files from my computer to the X-Box 360 and watch it on the basement. But like any update there is some bad that comes with the good, what they failed to mention when you update is that if you are outside the United States it will have a slightly constraining affect.
Everyone knows what the update was supposed to do here is what they didn’t mention:
I find this to be very annoying, and if I knew this was going to happen I would not have updated my machine, but its too late now and I’m stuck with it. I still do enjoy X-Box Live but I would have enjoyed downloading those movies and watching them in high definition.
It seems that Halo 3 is going over the top as expected, four million have been sold already and it hasn’t even been released yet. The expectations for this game is high, just as Halo One increased the sales of the original X-Box, and later Halo 2 brought more people into the Halo scene. The bar has been set high and people can’t wait to get their hands on the X-Box 360, four million sold and counting.

It seems Microsoft is producing a limited edition X-Box 360 with the Simpsons theme for the movie. Only 100 will be made and handed out in special events, but they are only doing it for with 20GB version. Personally I would be scared to have this machine in the same room with me, its too much yellow on one machine, I don’t think they could make it more annoying!
