My Cousin & The Wrath of the Lich K...

WoW or World of Warcraft has a huge fan base all over the world, and I think my cousin is one of the biggest fans. I did enjoy playing some WoW but not even close to the hard core fans. My cousin pretty much ditched our usual Saturday chilling session to dedicate all possible time in the day to the new Expansion Pack of WoW, The Wrath of the Lich King, and I do mean all possible time. He even got in line for the Thursday release at Virgin but turns out it was the US version and not the Euro version that he needed, so he is getting it Saturday. I don’t doubt if he takes time off work, WoW fans are fantastically insane nobody can match their dedication.

Gears Of War 2 XBox 360...

This is probably the coolest XBox 360 I have seen yet, and just Microsoft made a Halo 3 Special Edition there is a Gears of War 2 Special Edition. GOW2 is one hell of game, and it just keeps getting better and better, I want to finish the game before jumping into multiplayer. Basically playing until I go blind but very few will be able to play on this machine as it is unavailable for sale and only promotional purposes which I think is a real shame!

Gears Of War 2 – FTW...

I think I am the happiest man when I got my hands on Gears of War 2, even the cover looks cool. I’m downloading the content right away and I’m probably going to be playing this game into the night. I want to finish the single player and co-op missions, then playing the multi-player after getting really good at the single player. And I fixed my XBox Elite, picked up yesterday from Rihab. They fixed it for 30 KD, they changed the lens which was scratching the hell out of every disc they put it in, and they changed out the CD Rom mount so now its good as new, they can always fix anything at Rihab just give them time.

Halo Wars...

It has taken a while, but at last they have come up with an approximate release date for Halo Wars. February is the month that this Strategy Game will be released and there is a limited edition version with all the goodies. I will probably get the limited edition version since I do love all that is Halo, and they have really worked on this strategy game to give a fluid fit for XBox 360 gaming. Usually you can only really play strategy games on PCs because you have to multitask and using keyboard shortcuts is very helpful, I wonder how they are going to make it for the console. I can’t wait to get my hands on it, I don’t want any delays on this game.

Review: Mercenaries 2 – World in F...

I started playing this game a few months back now since I heard a lot of good things about it. Its very different then Mercenaries when it first came out, it has some similarity of Saints Row but a little different. Your a mercenary on a mission of vengence, and you are putting a ragtag team together to fight and making alliances. The BEST part of this game is that everything can be destroyed, if you have got a big enough gun then it can be destroyed. You build up your characters supplies and contacts trying to get to the one person that you want to kill, and its all in your hands from the choices and missions you make.  The best part about this game is that you can fly a helicopter or take a tank from the earlier stages of the game which is a hell of a lot of fun. With all the missions, its a lot of fun figuring out the type of support that you need to complete your mission, I usually go in guns blazing and some times I get killed but you start off from your main house. Its a lot of fun and it doesn’t feel like its endless, and doesn’t eat up all the time you have during the day.

Gaming 11/08...

I have had a chance lately to play some games, and I have gotten very annoyed that I buy games and they sit on the shelf for a very long time. I have started playing the games I buy and enjoying them like I used to, it does eat some time but its fun later on in the evening to play like crazy. Now I keep thinking I want a screen in my room and an XBox 360, and if there was one then I wouldn’t be sleeping much. Even if you are dead tired you somehow find the energy to stay up and try to accomplish the next mission you have on hand.

StarCraft 2 – Splitting It Up!...

I can’t believe that Blizzard is splitting it up after all this time. I was annoyed about this news, I don’t mind the wait for StarCraft 2 since we all have such high expectations. They just released that you will only be able to play as a Terran for the first iteration, the Zerg and Protos campaigns will be released in the following year as an expansion pack, one pack for each species. So they will make us wait for 3 to 4 years to play the game as a whole! It is very annoying and those expansion packs are not going to be cheap!

Shelby Slot Car Race Track...

This is probably the coolest game track set that I have ever seen. It brings back memories of adjusting the metal under the car, accusing my friend of cheating to win, trying to make sure my car doesn’t fly off at the corner. For $250 this amazing track is for a steal, and I know for a fact that a lot of guys would want this, even for nostalgia sake.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe...

Now I have been watching the development of this game for sometime now. Looks like its going to be pretty good just based on the graphics. Its on my purchase list for now, but I’m going to wait for a few user review before purchase. How cool is to you SubZero vs Batman, or Flash vs Raidan, and so many other characters. I just hope the gameplay is as good as the graphics, unlike a lot of the other fighter games which have come out.

Burnout Paradise – Have Bikes!...

I have been a huge fan of the Burnout Franchise, the whole thing is fun and ridiculous. All the other car games were always too serious and trying to imitate real life situations as much as possible, when this game came along and you are supposed skid as much as possible, and have some creative crashes while finishing the race. Now they have taken that concept and applied it to motorcycles, I’m wondering how they plan on making this work, because since they days of Road Rash on my old Sega I don’t think many motorcycle games have been successful, but I hope this one turns out to be just as fun as the car version of it.
