Sorapot...

A real modern tea pot, design from stainless steel and the Pyrex tube to house the liquid. One of the most original looking teapots that I have seen, both functional and beautiful. For $180 the Sorapot is worth every penny.

Eclosion Pump Up Sofa...

Now this is an interesting couch, it looks very comfortable and the surprising part is one side can be pumped up so that this turns from a couch to a bed. Its not yet available for sale, but it sure looks damn comfortable after a long day. The rest of the room would need a funky style for this to fit in.

Retiring Some Items...

shelf100408-003.jpg

Some furniture rearrangement has been taking place as of lately, I had some extra books, extra DVDs, and a few other items in a disorganized pile in front of the shelves, then there is all the wires. I wanted to make more space for items I was using, and move or get rid of things I wasn’t using. The hardest part is figuring out things I wasn’t using, and after a couple of weeks it came down to two things.

shelf100408-005.jpg

  • PS2 – Last time I played my PS2 was 2 years ago, just when the XBox 360 came out and my DVD playback stopped working.
  • Sony LCD – I haven’t used the TV much since everything I watch is on the computer, and I don’t really watch whats on TV.

So I put my PS2 in storage and I moved my screen to my nephews room so they can watch Barney or Power Rangers. Taking both those items away freed up a lot of space, but instead of the screen I put my Sonos system which is in the perfect spot. I used my Sonos system everyday since its streaming music from my network area storage (NAS) or from online services such as Sirius, Rhapsody, or Napster. Then it came to the reorganization, I wanted to put all the books I have read together, and then put all the books that I can reference together. I am trying to figure out a way to organize all the different media, and I am running out of storage for all the anime DVDs that I have. I have a lot of PS2 games, XBox 360 games, and DVDs that I will be getting rid off, I used to sell them off or trade them in, in the states but I have to figure out what to do with them in Kuwait.

It took me a few weeks to get things in order, but I’m happy how neat things turned out. I am at the 80% mark since there are still some items I need to get rid of and then the organization of the records, filing them, and keeping those in order. Its a nonstop process but I do like to have things in order when it comes to mess, then sometimes I do enjoy an organized chaos.

Life-Size C-3PO and R2-D2...

life-size-c-3po-r2-d2.jpg

For every Sci-Fi fan these two robots are the corner stone of science fiction movies. I tend to love R2-D2 more then C-3PO, he seems to have more guts then C-3PO. These are life like figures of C-3PO and R2-D2 made from high quality materials measuring at 66 and 38 inches tall, the perfect accessory for any home theater at $5450 to $5950, and only a limited number of these will be made so get them while you can.

Tripod Planter...

I’m the type of person that likes plants but I don’t have the skills or the time to maintain them inside or outside the house. This is probably one of the coolest plant holders I have seen, the tripod planter makes that plant seem really cool and modern. I wouldn’t mind getting a few and placing them in the right places. Another thing they mentioned is having a very good ice bucket. Either way it looks really good and solid, a good accessory to a room.

Price: $150

Scissor Spiders...

scissorspiders1.jpg

Spiders handmade from Scissors are some of the meanest and coolest looking table top accessory I have seen. I could picture this on a glass table, with very little on the table maybe just a few books out of fear from these spiders.

scissorspiders2.jpg

Its six inches long and nine inches wide, a weapon laying on your table for later use. I would like to get my hands on one of these, I would paint some of them.

Reorganization...

shelves-119.jpg

I have moved my media PC from my media shelf over to my desk are since I just installed Vista on it and I’m tweaked it for different use. I also managed to organize some anime DVDs around it. So I freed up some space on the media shelf, and I changed my stereo from the one that broke to the one I had in storage, and I cleaned up all the wires connected from behind but I still have a lot of reorganizing to do.

shelves-120.jpg

What I need to organize are my DVD, and CDs. I really want to Digatize all CDs so that I don’t have to look for them to listen to them and save area storing them. I just have to go through each CD on the PC and rip it with the right ID3 tags. Its an annoying process that I’m too lazy to go through right now.

I’m not even going to try to organize the wires under my desk, everytime I look at them I wonder what the hell I have contacted to them. One time I did contact what I had so I know that everything I have there is meant to be there, but I just can’t seem to find a way to connect them in an organized manner.

shelves-122.jpg

Some Steps:

  • Organize media shelf
  • Organize CDs after going through a few of them
  • Move anime series that I have finished to storage
  • Give away some magazines (I HATE DOING THAT, but I have to)
  • A few more things as I go a long cleaning up
  • I have a PS2 which doesn’t work
  • I have some PS2 and X-Box 360 games which I want to get rid off, wish there was some place to trade it in
  • Organize my books in some section

Even after all this organization I know that it is going to get a little messy in due time.

Conceal Bookshelf...

concealbookshelf2.jpg

I have always like putting my books on shelf for me to see if I need to access them or make move things around a bit. The hardest part is finding the right kind of shelf and this shelf is nothing short of simple and great, you install two metal plates and use the first book as the start of the shelves. It can support up to 15lbs (6.8 Kgs) and stack up to 16 inches(40 cm) for only $15.

Fusion Tables...

I think there isn’t anyone who doesn’t like a cool looking billiards or game table, the main problem is that space is always limited. The perfect solution for that situation is the Fusion Tables, it is a very nice modern dinner table which can be converted into a gaming or billiards table. The price isn’t set but its probably going to be expensive as hell because it sure looks it. I like this modern look with a quality touch to it, and this can’t get old very quickly because it has clean simple lines.

Smart Daily System...

smartdailysystem.jpg

I have always been a fan of pottery barn, there is something about their furniture that I do like. Sometimes they don’t have the best quality for all their products, but sometimes they make some products just right. When it comes to organization and accessories pottery barn has a large selection of those, and this is one of them. The Smart Daily System is a well defined set of daily accessories that you would use for your organization, you can choose from a combination of them to make up the wall of your choice. You have different elements that you can add to it such as, a white board, calendar, shelfs, linen board, all magnetized, charging shelf, key holder, letter bin, and a lot more. This is the best organizer for any person, and it comes in Black, Espresso and White. I honestly would want to get my hands on it if I had the place to put it, and it is very reasonably priced.
