Shelving Grids from Mobileffe...

I have a strange obessession with shelves, I love having shelves and organizing everything into those shelves. Mobileffe is an Italian furniture company which makes these high quality shelving system, and since its Italian it probably comes with a nice tag price. I do like how they have different shelves to fit different needs, from normal shelves, to entertainment system shelves, all the way to full wall libraries.

Herman Miller Mirra Chair...

There are always different office chairs available ranging from 10 KD to 1000 KD, all depends on what you want. I just look for comfort and how much I can lean back while staying in the seat for long periods. The Herman Miller chairs were known for their comfort, keeping your posture, functionality, and simple good looks. Once they came out with the Mirra chair as their next generation flagship chair it took off, and for good reason. I think it has a unique design with a mesh back that makes it comfortable to sit in for long periods, and looks good too.

Price: $700

Icon 6 Shelf Audio Tower...

When you have a lot of A/V equipment you run into two problems, one is wiring, and the second is heat. I’m always in the look out for well designed and functional no frills A/V furniture and this piece by BDI fits the bill. You can place all your A/V equipment, A/V receiver, Blu-Ray, XBox, Media PC, or anything else you have on those shelves. Each shelf supports 50 lbs with the top most supporting 100lbs.

Price:$800

G-1 Pool Table...

This is probably the coolest pool table I have ever seen, and the most fragile from the way its built. It has the pockets and ball return system of certain pool tables made from steel and glass, but to have something like this in your house would cost you as much as a car.

Price: $29750

Disappearing Pool Table...

Every gaming room should be comfortable and be unique but this is probably the coolest piece of furniture I have seen yet. I’m curious how the whole mechanism works and what are the fail safes if something goes wrong, and that pool table does look heavy.

Pacman Seating...

Creative materials to make the pacman furniture, and you can customize it completely to your liking. This is probably the coolest retro furniture I have seen in a while. Who doesn’t have fond memories of Pacman and chasing after the ghosts that were trying to kill you a minute ago.

Parisian Chair...

Now I tend to like these comfortable chairs, just like the ones they have in the British Airways Lounge, whre you sink in and don’t want to get up. This is a chair from restoration hardware, and it has this really aged look to it.

Pininfarina Xten...

If there is a chair to complement a Ferrari then this would be it. This is designed by Pininfarina, the same people who designed the Enzo Ferrari. Its made of material meant to reduce fatigue by 60% and sucks moisture away so to keep you comfortable. It cost $1.5 million to develop this chair but they are selling it for $3000 a piece.

Curved Bookshelves...

Triptyque designed this space ship looking bookshelf for a urban apartment in San Paulo, Brazil. This bookshelf system serves the whole apartment from normal books, to important items, to the entertainment system at the other end. It gives the apartment a different form and feel which I can appreciate.

If there is one thing that I love when it comes to furniture its bookshelves, and this one turned out to be one of the strangest yet interesting bookshelf I have seen. I just like to organize my books, dvds, and other times to a specific pattern that only makes sense to me, its something to do with organized chaos.

Surf Chair...

Now this looks like a strangely comfortable chair, not necessarily because of the padding but the angle at which you look at the screen. I’m one of those people that spends hours in front of the screen watching anime, tv shows, and other things on the PC that doesn’t require my direct interaction except when I’m going to the next episode, and this would be interesting to try out.
