I have this weird thing about soups! I really dislike soups except a select few. Soups just don’t do it for me and it reminds me of being sick and I really dislike being sick so it has kind of stuck in my head since I was very young. It has to be very tasty soup for me to like it, and I will remember it, but usually Im reluctant to having soup.
The two kinds of soup that I really like are:
I have to order these whenever I get a chance! It hits the spot for me! I would have an endless amount of Miso Soup and Hot n Sour Soup if possible, I remember whenever I had a cold I would order some chinese food and large bucket of Hot n Sour soup! It was like an endless abyss no matter how much I had it wouldn’t finish and it cleared my nose alright!
The other day one my friend’s really wanted Nathans and I was thinking about something else but he wanted it so much I said why not. He kept speaking very highly of it especially their hotdog, and he tried in the US saying it was great and asking if I had it in the states, I said I never heard of it before, but by that time I was hungry as hell. When the food arrived we all ordered the same thing, and I was pretty hungry so I had a chilli cheese dog, a cheese burger, and fries.
When I saw it, it didn’t look that impressive but I thought let me taste it before making a decision. The fries weren’t anything special, but they werent bad so just dipped it in ketchup and kept eating. The hotdog was very bland and dry for some reason, I didn’t like it, and that is what I was really looking forward too. The Cheeseburger reminded me of Hungry Bunny for some reason, the only reason it didn’t get a 1 out of 5 was because it reminded me of Hungry Bunny from back in the day. The food wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t what I expected, but it wasn’t good either so I won’t be getting food from their again. There are a lot of better places then that. For a quick chilli dog the one from Hardeez is so much better!

This is one of those nice restaurants which is a great find. Its like a New York restaurant transplanted into London. This restaurant has an old trainstation feel to it with the tiles and the wood. Its really clean and always bubbly around lunch time, you are lucky to find a table between 12:00pm to 3:00pm, its always packed with people who are having meetings, or a nice lunch break. It is a popular spot for lunch so you will always see people going and coming, and their food is really good as well. The food is what stands out at the restaurant other then the furniture.
They have a nice selection of food, and a lot of things they have are good. The sandwichs, soups, salads, and the one thing they are known for is their Mac’n Cheese! I love it, I can’t get enough of it and it tastes so damn good. We shared a large dish between the three of us and barely managed to finish it while we all had starts and main courses. The restaurant is full of people, and waiters are running around serving drinks and food. They also had these tiny coke bottles which are very interesting and I love drinking coke from a bottle, it just tastes better to me. The waiters have a good attitude but they were a bit slow sometimes but they made up for it, and they have a good selection of food, if your looking for a good burger place in London with a touch of class then I recommend Automat.
This is for those who love Chinese food. I was really looking forward to trying out this new Chinese Restaurant. They have a very trendy setting when you walk in and the first thing you notice is the lobster tank to your left. The seating is quite comfortable, but it isn’t a very large restaurant. They have a very diverse dim sum and tea menu, I have never seen so many different kinds of tea that I was confused so I asked for a recommendation and went with it. They also had a real good selection of sea food, and they had some specialty dishes so I wanted to try everything and I was happy that I had some friends with me to polish of most of the orders. I have to say that the they had the tastiest vegetable spring roll I have ever tasted, and since they had some seafood we asked for lobster. At that point they asked us to pick out a lobster from the tank, and some people have difficulty doing that I had no problems choosing one to eat. And they cooked two different delicious dishes from the one 3.4lb lobster, and we devoured it. Then we also had a Peking duck which I savored every bite of it. The service was quite good for this trendy restaurant, and they just filling up our tea cups. I haven’t enjoyed and savored the Chinese cuisine as I have at that moment. It is a bit on the pricy side, but the quality of food is unquestionable. If you are looking for a trendy Chinese restaurant then this would be your choice.
I’m hungry as hell right now, and all I keep thinking about is devouring a Peking Duck while in London. That is what I have dreamt about aside from Jack Bauer, Jack Bauer, and more Jack Bauer.
At this point I have had a messed up eating schedule because of work. I’m running around a lot and I dont feel like eating, because I’m not the type of person to eat something light. When I’m hungry I eat until I am utterly satisfied and at that point I’m in capable of completing any form of work. I remain stationary for a while before doing anything. And since I dont get off work until 5 or 6 pm I dont eat until then, and I need to get back into the gym.
The last couple of weeks in December really messed up all my routines because of all the work that needed to be done. And now I’m getting back into the groove of things. But damn I’m hungry!
After the rounds last night I suddenly got hungry towards later in the night and I had the sudden urge to have a pizza and it was 10:30pm and so I called Papa Jones pizza because I knew they delivered.
I asked for a bbq chicken pizza, and they told me 45 minutes, which I didn’t mind since I was going to watch some anime in the basement. I was half way through an episode and then suddenly the delivery guy showed up. They were 25 minutes early and that is really good service! Papa Jones is open for delivery until 2am which I think is fantastic! I was looking at the marvelous pizza and I have to say that it disappeared to a bottomless pit within minutes. I enjoyed the end of the evening watching some anime and playing some gears of war! I had hard time sticking to one thing, I loved watching the anime, but I can’t stop playing Gears of War!
Since tangerines have been in season I dont eat much dinner since I really look forward to a couple of tangerines. Its the best possible setting before going to sleep.
A couple of tangerines and some anime before going into deep sleep. I think this is helping since I dont feel heavey at night but I dont feel hungry when going to sleep, and the tangerines taste so damn good.
Double Bypass Burger
Taste … Worth Dying For!
There isnt much I can say about this place, some people will compare it to Hooters but the only decent thing there are the Wings. This place seems to genuinely have good burgers and some interesting waitresses to add to that. Its funny that this place is causing a stir, but I think this would be the most successful restaurant in Kuwait. Forget about the lines for Krispy Kreme, this place would need the riot police station outside. Some will love and some will hate it, I dont care as long as the burgers are good. The funny part is that they really have their own comic strip on the website.

hmmm.. anyone want this? I saw this sitting on the table and Im not much of desert person, but I was tryin to figure out what the hell type of cake this thing was. There was nobody in the vicinity to ask and for some reason I really wanted to know what it was, even though I didnt want to eat it. It looked good, but that was about it. Then I was told it was a Cheesecake Cake, and I thought I would share it with everyone. After satisfying my curiousty I continued my path to the kitchen for a cold bottle of water.
I went to Biella for the first time today at Marina Cresent. Its located on the second floor above starbucks. Its Italian cuisine we were walking around with no specific place in mind and so we decided to eat at this place. There was a decent amount of people, first off the menu is pretty good and the service was good as well. The food was another issue. I have to say when it comes to Italian food I have very high standards so I might be a bit critical of this place. The calamari had way too much crust on it, the tomato sauce was good, but it felt unhealthy just eating it. I had the lasagne which was pretty good, but still something was missing in the taste. The was salad was ok, nothing really special about it. The place itself had a huge problem, they have horrible insulation, so even if you were eating inside you would be sweating like crazy. There were only certain parts of the restaurants that had good air conditioning, but I kept ordering cold seven up, which helped. The service was good and the food was pretty good, but nothing special. I wouldnt go back any time soon though.
