We were gathered around the pans, trying to figure out the best way to make these cookies. Somebody through out the instructions and we were left with the cookie dough. As you can see, it was a successful attempt at making cookies.
5 guys gather around the pan trying to figure out the time, and 5 minutes in we were having arguments to pull the pan out and eat the damn thing. The smell was killing us, it smelt damn good even though we knew it wasn’t ready. Seeing five guys gathered at the oven window to watch the cookies cook is hilarious, but had good results. I think they were supposed to be kept for after dinner, but they were being eaten as they were being made, and some people burnt their lips try to eat a cookie fresh out of the oven.
Most of the day I was in a bit of a daze, so as soon as I got home I took a nap. That nap turned into a 3.5 hour nap, from 7 pm to about 10:30 pm. I woke up hungry and still dazed, I did feel better since I got some sleep but I still had a few things that I wanted to do. I then sensed I was hungry, and I had the sudden urge for KFC. I got in my car after about half hour of laying around, drove to the KFC close by and got myself a Chicken Fillet sandwich, it hit the spot.
Its getting hotter and hotter the past couple of weeks, its still the end of April. I was riding well into the end of May last year without breaking a sweat, but these days its even hot at 6 am. So this Saturday morning I decided to sleep in a bit before heading out for a few tasks.
I went from one part of Kuwait to the other, Shuweikh, Hawally, Miseela, Bida,a and back home. It was task after task, I even kept my car on a few times so that it wouldn’t heat up. I kept getting text messages from people who were out in the ocean, or swimming. I wanted to cool off so I stopped by Starbucks in Bida’a to get something cool to drink. Bida’a area seemed deserted since everyone was in the ocean, I parked right up front to get my drink and head out. I do love the raspberry farrappacino at Starbucks, it tastes damn good and the perfect remedy for the heat, cools you right off. Then to continue with the rest of the tasks of the day.
The incident took place Friday night at 8:50 pm, Zahed was sitting next to me on the bench. The efforts from earlier in the day were showing fruition, bowls and bowls of meat were arriving to the table. Steaks, Hot Dogs, Burgers, and all forms of meat, we had every condiment ready and many of us were starving.
Zahed was sitting to my right when the burgers arrived, everything seemed normal and some of us were reaching for the buns. Each person was choosing his condiment, some were waiting for others. Zahed picked up the mustard bottle, and I was holding the ketchup bottle. Everything seemed normal but Zahed wasn’t getting any results. I turn to grab something else then a sudden burst of air and I felt something smear me. My right side was covered in Mustard and so was my dishdasha, but that was nothing in comparison to Zahed, if he jumped in a pool of mustard it wouldn’t have covered him as much. He was covered from head to toe in mustard, and we were all bursting out laughing, I still don’t know how that happened, and I don’t care. It was funny as hell, he cleaned up but we continued to enjoy the excellent food and great music. Perfect night for a bbq and a mustard explosion.
Friday morning involved roaming around Shuweikh for some places. We were looking for Ace Hardware at 8:30 am and we thought we knew where we were going, but we were completely wrong. I thought it was close to IKEA but A2Z and True Value was around the area, it wasn’t Ace Hardware, we did end of somewhere unexpected which was the KDD factory. We walked in and it seemed like heaven, every juice you could imagine and lots of ice creams.
We spent a good 20 minutes waiting for the ice cream machine to kick into gear, but still we didn’t get any ice cream. When we asked for some Rockets or Raspberries they said they sell them in packs of 10, so that wasn’t an option. We left empty handed but next time we shall be stocking up on all forms of ice creams. I don’t care what anyone says, KDD is superior to both Petra and KDCow, so much better there isn’t even a comparison when it comes to the Ice Creams.

Coming back hungry from work and taking in that beautiful smell is very satisfying. I thought to myself that I would just eat the meat and take it easy on the rice so I won’t pass out right away. I was completely wrong and kidding myself when I was thinking that, I automatically went for the rice and meat, and ate until I was satisfied. I have this tendency to always clean my plate even if I have reached my limit so I push the limit a little higher.
After going to London a few times this is the list of restaurants which I do enjoy visiting, some are newer then others but still they are very good restaurants. A interesting and tasty menu to choose from as well as nice atmosphere, some of the restaurants are funkier then the others so it depends what you are looking for.

Nothing does a man good as much as a good meal, and this was one hell of a meal. I had to remain stationary for a little while after that and I was enjoying a few episodes of weeds while I was recovering. I haven’t had Muchboos Laham in a while or Mathrooba and both tasted amazing.
It didn’t take me long to pass out after the meal, I forgot about what was on TV. I woke up still feeling full which is perfect after a 30 minute nap.
Back by popular demand! I had chicken muchboos for lunch and I did enjoy the mixed reactions regarding the fish, luckily I already had the chicken lined up. I had a meeting at 6:00 pm so I decided to leave work at 4:45pm to get enough time to eat, rest, and head back out. It was a quick meal but I felt good just seeing it, even though I went full to the meeting I felt comfortable. I even felt full later at night when I got home, didn’t need anything to eat later in the evening. Work is just taking up too much time these days but I’m happy that I’m eating something.
I thought I would be coming back from work early but that wasn’t the case I didn’t get home until after 9:00 pm. So I had a late lunch and it was my only meal for the day, I have to say that it hit the spot. I like fish but I love ezbaydy more then any fish, and this dish was amazing. Also the Kubbah hit the spot since I wanted to eat something right away, I ate those like fries and finished them right away. And as a result of the meal I passed out within minutes of finishing what was on the table.
