The new Thundercats that recently premiered on Cartoon Network got my blood pumping, I was so excited to watch the show and at the same time I was hoping that I wouldn’t be disappointed by it, thankfully the show has lived up to my initial expectations. It was a two episode premiere on Friday and will be airing every Friday. You get to see the original Thundera and a young Lion-O, how the lives of the Cats were originally and the story plays out very very well, you even get to see the original Jaga of the Thundercats. I don’t want to spoil the show for anyone but if your even a remote fan of this show you have to watch it, I felt like an excited kid watching it and when the show ended I wanted more, now I have to wait for it on Fridays.

This has been a very good year for Marvel, and all their movies have been building up the different characters and the stories. And now The Avengers will soon be upon us, with that they have released the concept art of The Avengers. I’m not sure what or how the story line is going to go, all I know is that I am excited to see it, its been developing for a long time now and a lot of talent has gone into it.
Below you will find the individual concept art banners for The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) alongside Agent Coulson and Agent Maria Hill.
In 1962, Charles Xavier starts up a school and later a team, for humans with superhuman abilities. Among them is Erik Lensherr, his best friend… and future archenemy.
There was a barrage of comic book movies coming out this year, this might end up being the best and the most restrained with CGI . I was excited when they announced another X-Men movie since Wolverine wasn’t as good as I expected even though I liked it. But an Origins movie is tough to pull off since comic book stories are very complex and Batman Begins was one of the few that got it right. Nevertheless, I went into this movie with certain expectations, and they were surpassed. This movie is fantastic. The dynamic of new friends that will grow up to be enemies and seeing how the Xavier school came about is really fun. The film could have spent a little more time of showing why the two men chose such different paths, but thats a small detail that only true comic book geeks like myself will notice, loved the Wolverine cameo. And I especially enjoyed some of the new characters, looking forward to seeing the next iteration of this the new X-Men.

Another Zodiac chart, this time a remix of the original Nerd Zodiac. And I am again part of the Ninjas and Samurais, which is very cool by the way, but they have some very interesting traits for the Ninjas/Samurai. The Good parts are Loyal, Deferential, Level-Headed and the Bad being Unemotional, Subservient, Violent. I don’t think I’m violent or subservient, I can be a bit unemotional though! I always like how comic characters can be interpreted in Minimalist ways, especially the Dark Night and Darth Vader in this set. This is some Superheros and Villain Art from Grégoire Guillemin. You can click the link for more of his art work.

Seeing this art work got me to remember the 90s and when I used to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I used to think that Shredder was one of the coolest bad guys out there, and I always used to think of cheese when I thought shredder. Who could forget April O’Neal, she used to be friends with four very cool turtles, and I always used to think that Splinter didn’t kick enough ass. But this art work by Dave Rapoza is pretty amazing and I hope to see some more TMNT in the future.
Artist Dave Rapoza has updated the TMNT, and given them all a brand new real-life look. Even the creepy little fly villain, Baxter, from the cartoon got a makeover! Each new piece is both gorgeous and horrifying at the same time. It definitely makes us yearn for the old days of the Foot Clan.

For a little while now I have had the ArtFX Star Wars Clone Troopers Set and I have been waiting for the oppertune time to put them together. Kotobukiya make some very cool models and three of these boxes have parts of one of the clone troopers to make a for a full Clone Troopers. I’m also getting my hands on the Jedi set soon and I do love my Star Wars.
He is an Artist in SoHo selling in front of shops from his Van and he had some amazing Marvel and DC work done. I love Comic Art and I saw an Amazing Batman that I wanted but I said I would pick up after we were done getting a few things but by the time I got back it was gone.
Talked to him about getting some personal ones done after finding the images I had in mind. Back and forth with the guy and we agreed to 450 for 4 paintings and he came up with some really cool stuff.
The guy didn’t have a cell phone but he had an email which was something new to me. He bought a new phone and topped off the minutes and got back to me on the progress of the paintings. I ended up giving him $20 to top off his phone so he could talk to me when he is done with the work.
Asked him to work on a Superman, Batman, and two Optimus Primes and came below are the amazing the results. I love New York for this reason you get to meet some very interesting people and it is a city which attracts artist and creative people.
Don’t call them sidekicks! Young Justice follows the adventures of the teenaged superheroes Aqualad, Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Artemis , who have finally gained independence from their leaders and the privilege to start their own covert operations team with the Justice League.
Warner Brothers and DC Comics brought us another amazing animated show, for any fan of Justice League and Justice Leauge Unlimited you must watch this. The animation is similar to the previous shows and I really like the style of it. The intro to the show is bad ass, I really like the characters in the show and I like where it is going. There is unknown enemy working in the background, something is going on, I really want to see more episodes and luckily its only at the 9th episode and going.

There is nothing cooler then the Transformers and seeing the Decepticons in this Diorama. Megatron in all his glory surrounded by his lieutenants and the conniving StarScream in the back. I especially love Soundwave, and I haven’t seen Lazerbeak and Ravage in so long. Its so life like that I think that they are real live characters, the detail is just amazing.
Customizer frenzy_rumble takes it to the next level with a very intense Decepticon base diorama. Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Reflector, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage and Laserbeak have frenzy_rumble’s trademark look, and are held in a heavily modified i-Gear Ark.
