I was passing by Shuweikh the other day and decided to pass by Audi to check out the S8 only to spot an Aventador parked in the lobby. So I walked over to the other side to see a mean Stealth Grey Aventador parked right in front of me, I always thought it was a beautiful machine, but pictures do not do it justice at all, it is a completely different creature when you see it in front of you.

It is extreme in its design and its performance, uncompromising in its standards and technology, and unmistakably Italian in its style and perfection. This machine looks like its speeding while parked in that showroom, then I got a sneak peak to see one getting prepared for his owner, Mashalla mashalla I was in awe. I loved the machine in both Stealth Grey and the lovely hue of Orange.

Is 0-62 Mph in 2.9 seconds fast enough? Well thats what the Aventador can do and thats even faster then a lot of bikes. And when I sat inside that cockpit I felt like I was about to go to warp speed, so after Lamborghini builds these machines they will build the Star Trek Enterprise, when your sitting inside the vehicle you feel like you are inside a Jet Fighter which is ready to fly into space. Technology has been infused into this machine perfectly the driver digital display feels like something out of Minority Report, completely digital and changes to what you need, all I needed was to start the turbines, adjust the flaps, and I fly out. And yes I started the car and I was about to drool, I was already mesmerized by the way it looks and the sound just took it to another level.

I have been a fan of the new Camaro for sometime, I think Chevy built a quality car and its probably fun to drive. Now they just went overboard and created the ZL1, 580 horsepower slapped into the hood of a Camaro. The thing that Chevrolet learned is that isn’t just how big the engine is but how well it handles and they really tweaked it to handle on the track and this was there goal. A race ready vehicle which is somewhat affordable right off the bat but its numbers a bit on the ridiculous side. With the 6.2-liter, supercharged and intercooled LSA V8 that’s good for 556 lb-ft of torque and 580 horsepower, which rockets the car to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds as well as getting 1 g on the skid plate.

All of this for $54’500 with just a few options such as lightweight wheels, carbon fiber hood, and a few interior suede pieces, everything else is the same. Now that they created this, Ford came out with their beast but with only 40 bhp difference the real test will be on the track, and my money is on the Camaro. I would love to drive a manual version of this car, I would probably burn through the tires within a day.

Slide ‘N Glide‘s first drift event will be held at BIC (Bahrain International Circuit) located in Sakhir on Saturday, October 22nd 2011 starting at 9 AM until 5 PM. the event will be divided into 3 sessions:

• Practice session 1 (Slide ‘N Glide staff will ride with you)
• Practice session 2 (On your own unless you want someone with you)
• Competition (No pressure, it’s just for fun!)

I have always been a fan of Drifting, I have watched a lot of Formula D over the years and seen what some of these guys do during GulfRun and its impressive. I for one lack skills to keep the car going sideways but with more Drifting events such as these I can probably get better at it. The best part is people can participate and they can learn from the professional guys from SlideNGlide. The event is taking place in Bahrain International Circuit on the 22nd of October anyone can join, and it would be a lot of fun to watch, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Steps Rehabilitation Center, you can find more details on their website.

Looking rather fetching in its flawless coat of Rosso Mars paint, which the automaker proudly claims recognizes Italy’s famous red racing cars, this latest version of Lambo’s V10-powered supercar is based on the LP570-4 Blancpain Edition that was unveiled at last year’s Paris Motor Show. That means it weighs 2,954 pounds and makes good use of its 570 horsepower to hit 0-62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds. That massive rear spoiler is manually adjustable to help keep the wheels on the ground, and both it and the car’s hood are crafted from carbon fiber. Lamborghini will happily plaster the interior with carbon goodness in place of the standard black and red motif, surely for an extra charge.

Now Lamborghini have done it again making one very sexy looking machine with the Super Trofeo Stradale Gallardo. Only 150 of these special Gallardos are earmarked for production, in either the aforementioned red hue or, optionally, in Grigio Telesto or Bianco Monocerus. They keep improving these lovely machines and with that massive rear spoiler I don’t know how it handle on the track but it has a sexy rear end to it.

I haven’t been to Reem Circuit in Saudi Arabia so this is the first time I see from this footage but it seems they gave Vaughn Gittin Jr and his Formula Drift Mustange free reign over the track and anything around it. Formula Drifting is one of the coolest sports to watch and the amount of skill it takes to control the vehicle at high speed is over the top to say the least. And it seems Gittin enjoyed himself on the track with a few close calls.

This would solve all of my road rage issues and traffic would never be an issue, I don’t even know if this vehicle is street legal but damn it I want it. Nothing would stop in my way.

Again a bunch of people cause traffic problems in the middle of London, and block off a Firestation as they want to exit, I’m surprised that they didn’t ram the cars. Whats embarrassing is that the drivers are from Qatar, UAE, and Kuwait based on the license plates.

The battle between these beautiful machines on Fifth Gear, really beating these two machines around the track. I have driven the 458 on a track before and I have not had the pleasure to drive the MP4-12C yet but this video does say a lot, enjoy.

Ladies and Gentlemen the beast has been unveiled, so much talk about this machine and at last it has been shown to the masses. The next iteration of a very mean four door sedan. There is something that I find to be very attractive about the M5 from the original version until now and I love that BMW keeps making these aggressive machines, and I especially like it in this color, this blue is probably my favorite color.

The 2012 M5 is about more than mere surface beauty, after all. The sonorous V10 of the last M5 has been traded out for a twin-turbocharged V8 fist. Power is up, with 552 horsepower (the V10 produced 507 hp) coming on at 6,000 rpm – 1,750 rpm lower than the V10. Torque is hugely boosted from 383 pound-feet to 501 lb-ft, which will be great for shoving this car to 60 miles per hour in a reported 4.4 seconds. That’ll route to the rear wheels via a standard dual-clutch transmission, though a proper six-speed stick. The cost of entry is rumored to be around €100,000 in Germany, which is around 39,000 KWD which I’m assuming it will be close to in Kuwait.

This is a very short video but it is pure automotive passion, you are left with only the purest form of driving, I watch in awe of the skills of the driver and the capability of this amazing machine. I want one, I won’t lie, I want to drive this car, I want a manual that I can thrash around town and around a track. It seems this is part of the BMW 1M driving videos, thats hope there are some more videos just as awesome as this one to come out soon.
