I am very much into vehicle modification since I got my hands on my first remote control car! And these I am still obsessed with trucks and getting them modified. I have been modifying my motorcycles to my taste and really enjoying them. Modification of something is basically personalizing what you own and your attitude will reflect in it.
The problem is in Kuwait, I tend to modify my motorcycles since its mostly cosmetics and any performance modification doesn’t affect my motorcycles registration at any time. But vehicle modification is not allowed in Kuwait because they say its dangerous, if they don’t know how to apply common sense rules in Kuwait they tend to ban it right away. Some go into sports modification and some into off-road modification. I like them all, whenever something is done with taste I will complement the work. I always love a nicely modified truck and I’m still looking into a truck sometime in the future. The work would have to be done the US since the skills I would need isn’t available in Kuwait, and I wouldn’t want someone learning on my project. There should be a magazine which judges work in Kuwait so that people know when their vehicle looks really ugly and when it looks good. Few vehicles look good and many look bad because they just don’t bother to know whats nice. I don’t know when they would allow modifications but it doesn’t stop a lot of people.
Now this is the first time Alfa Romeo has come out with something very different in a long time. I haven’t really given an Alfa Romeo a second look before, but I would the 8C. A retro looking sports car with modern features to boot.

Price: $200’000

I have always liked the name Ironhide but when he was a Nissan Van I really didn’t think that he was the strongest Transformer. Now in the movie they turned him into the GMC TopKick which is one hell of a truck. I really liked what they did with vehicle to give it a beefier look with the lift but keep things as stock as possible, the stack pipes are a nice touch and the whole black exterior adds to the intimidation of this vehicle.
I liked Ironhide so much I’m thinking about purchasing the model through Amazon and placing it on my shelf. Without a doubt Optimus Prime is my favorite character then Ironhide and Bumblebee after that.
I have recently changed my tires from the Bridgestone Dueler H/T to the Toyo A/T Open Country. I drive a lot on-road and off-road in different locations and in different situations. I judge tires based braking, cornering, sound, and overall traction. The Bridgestone Dueler H/T were horrible tires, and they are horrible at braking so I would avoid them and if you have them I would change them right away.
The Toyo tires are really good for being more off-road oriented then most tires, but since they are All-Terrains they do a good job in different situations. In braking the tires are much better then the Bridgestones and in cornering I feel more comfortable with these tires. Overall I am very happy with these tires, and the only tires which I think would be better are the BF Goodrich All Terrains.
This is a pretty cool list of the most famous cars from TV, and I have to agree with most of them. There are a few missing but overall I think these are the most famous. I remember seeing KITT in the states when I was a kid, I fell in love with that car, a talking car with attitude! Nothing would have been better!
This is one of the coolest vehicles ever built! They have made a life size functional version of Warthog from Halo. It has four wheel steering and a rear mounted machine gun ready to go. They are making some Halo Short films so this is bound to be in it, but I think you will also be seeing this fantastic vehicle during the Halo 3 launch in Sept 25!
Who wouldn’t want to drive this vehicle in traffic, I would be bumping cars off the road!

After my little incident I was lucky to get off with just having to change my tires. The vibration was just too much, as soon as I hit 80 kph and went faster the rougher the steering wheel vibrated so my only choice was to change my tires.
I have had the Bridgestone Duelers for a while now and I think they are pretty bad tires since they are pretty bad when I brake and lose grip faster then I would like. My first choice was the BF Goodrich All-Terrains but it seems they are expensive and people don’t buy them in Kuwait, they go for 60 KD a tire, and for an SUV it seems to be expensive. I went to Al-Mailem Tires on Canada Dry street around 6:30pm on Thursday to change all the tires and get an alignment. They have a very large selection of tires, and I thought they might have the ones I wanted but they didn’t. They had different on-road SUV tires available but I didn’t want just on-road tires, I wanted them to handle in dirt as well so my only option for All-Terrains they were the Toyo AT Open Country.
They mounted the first one just to see how it looks and I have to say it didn’t look too shabby so I went ahead with them. At first they were 52 KD a tired, then he dropped it to 39 KD a tire and a 10 KD computer alignment for a total of 166 KD. I was watching them mount the tires, and I could watch them all day I just enjoy went new tires are mounted. These new tire balance computers are amazing, I was standing next to the guy doing it and asking him questions.
As soon as they were done installing the new tires I went for the alignment and you stay in the vehicle while they make your adjustments which is really fun. Overall these tires are much better then the Bridgestones from the first day of use.
It has been 11 Days and 16 hours since I gave my Landcruiser to Toyota to fix supposedly minor problems.
The issues as follows:
At first Toyota said it was minor and went about doing there tasks and gave me an estimate of 114 KD to fix everything which I thought was fine. They call me back 3 days later telling me it will cost 620 KD to fix everything. I was flabbergasted, and I told them what I would pay for and what I wouldn’t. They almost wanted to replace the whole A/C system because they didn’t know where the electrical problem was. There was nothing wrong with the Air conditioning itself, the problem was that the air flow wasn’t working in the back which has a control.
After making them really look into the problem the amount turned out to be 256 KD. The policy with fixing in Kuwait is to Replace instead of Fix, so they decided to replace EVERYTHING instead of finding out where the problem lay. So they replaced two controllers, one in the front and one in the rear and that seemed to solve the problem.
I’m just happy I have my Landcruiser back!
The Mercedes SL has been around for a little while now and knowing Mercedes they won’t be changing it any time soon. Kicherer really did a good job modifying this SL tastefully and giving it a nice punch to go with that extremely aggressive look. They took the SL 600 and installed a Kicherer Biturbo to produce 605 bhp and with the right parts of carbon fiber to craft for an aerodynamic vehicle. Its different but still an SL, a job well done.

This is one of the greatest things I have seen Nissan ever do. They have built these Mechas as an advertising tool to sell their SUV in Japan, but who cares, look at those things!!! I would want to get my hands on one of those to follow me around and fight when I command it to, its first directive is to protect me. Check out the videos!
