There is a lot to be said about the Corvette, and now that they are introducing the ZR1 its nothing short of a monster. 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds and pumps out about 638 bhp, I was afraid of the Z06 but this is just on another level. I decided to inquire into the pricing of the machine. It seems there are two packages, the 3ZR and 1ZR, the 3ZR being the more expensive. It is guesstimated that the 3ZR would be at $117’000, the only options available are the color, the rims, and the navigation/sound system. The rest of the car is fully loaded.
I passed by the dealership in Kuwait and this is the information I received.
There is a waiting list of 9 people who are putting money down and it is priced between 31’000 to 37’000 KWD. They aren’t sure yet, but what they do know is that they had an allotment of 8 but it has been reduced to 2 cars, and they pretty much sold.
So I called up Courtesy Chevrolet in California, I know that they are the biggest Corvette Seller on the West Coast. They are receiving an allotment of 10 and they have 7 people on the waiting list. After asking a few questions, he shocked me with a huge mark up, for th 3ZR it is list of a $117’00 and a mark up of $50’00, and you will receive the car by spring of next year, if you want the car this summer then the mark up is $60’000. For a grand total of $177’000 which is roughly 47’790 KWD.
I called up a few other dealership until finding Putnam Chevrolet close to San Francisco and he didn’t mention a mark up on the ZR1. He is expecting the 3ZR to be around $120’000 which is equivalent of 32’400 KWD. They seemed a lot more reasonable then the first one.
I made use of my Skype Phone while making my phone calls, this is a limited production machine and only a few dealerships will be getting it. I called a few that weren’t even getting it, and they sounded depressed when they answered. Whoever is going to be driving this machine will really enjoy it.

Gone in 60 Seconds is one of my favorite movies, I’m not a huge fan of Nicholas Cage, but in this movie I loved the character he played and just all the cars. One of my favorite cars is Eleanor, the 1967 For Mustang which is nothing short of a work of art. The line are beautiful, a roar coming from the engine, makes your heart skip a beat. Whatever price they set for this machine, its worth every penny, and I will envy the man that would take ownership of this beast.

I don’t even know what the specs of this machine are, all I know is that I want to be behind the wheel. It supposed to be the most incredible machine developed by a Japanese Automaker yet, and they have been making some interestingly powerful cars. I do hope Lexus does take this machine in production, and if the specs are high enough they can put whatever price tag they want on it and it will sell.
Now this is an interesting machine, when people want progress this is it. A sports that is partly powered by gasoline and the other part hydrogen. There won’t be a hydrogen tank in the vehicle so no hydrogen refill is necessary instead there will be water tank, and when the car is running it will produce electricity, and a current will go through the water to produce hydrogen which is mixed with the gasoline to produce an extremely more effecient car. With this type of technology it will produce 40 miles to the gallon which fantastic.
It has a Acura 3.5 Vtech motor with 280-horsepower stock, or 450-horsepower with a twin turbo option. The car has a 6-speed manual transmission. 200 orders of this machine have already been taken and each one is selling for $150’000. 200 are supposed to be produced in 2008 and 500 by 2009 I think its ambitious but if this vehicle is successful its going to sell like crazy.

When I first read the title I jumped at the link thinking that it really is the new M6, it was odd since this isn’t the usual way BMW announces new designs of their flagship vehicle. Turns out it is just a speculation and when I saw it I was a bit disappointed. The person who rendered this interesting looking vehicle did an excellent job with his interpretation of the new look, but I doubt the new M6 will look like this. I like the sleek lines and long look of the machine since the current M6 is quite large but I can tell their are a few missing details that any BMW lover would notice right away. It is more on a technical aspect but it does play a huge role, fist off the brakes have to be slotted and drilled, quad exhaust, and M slit down the side. These are small touches but they are what differentiates the M from the other BMW vehicles, still very interesting.

This Maserati is an interesting looking machine, I like the way it looks but I don’t like the rims. The body work looks really interesting, I keep thinking that machines guns will pop from the front and missiles will pop from the side. The damn name by itself is a mouthful, and I cut off half of it.

There is something that I really liked about the old concept cars, you really feel that these designers were trying to figure out what the future car industry would be like. One of those cars was the BMW M1, I thought it was a cool mid-engine car, and they sold a number of those cars, it was a special driver that would appreciate this type of car.
Now they have come up with the M1 Homage Concept, I have no clue if they are going to be build this machine, but there is something I really like about it, I really don’t like the rims but it looks like a car of superhero.

Early friday morning, I woke up to my phone ringing and I knew that I had to get up. K, Monichum, and a few others called me to get up, so I called a few other people trying to make sure they wake up as well for a good breakfast. We didn’t know exactly where we were heading, but it was a beautiful day and we had to get up. We decided to meet in the city since we had to pick up a few people and ended up with 7 people, a few wouldn’t wake up to their phones ringing. Met up with K, and we took off to the City to meet up with Monichum and a few other people, then we went to Qurtoba and kidnapped one guy from his home.
As soon as we got going we were flying to Al Koot Mall for a change, we were enjoying our drive and the empty highways. A little street racing was taking place after we filled up the gas tanks down Malik Fahad Highway, it is fun to drive in Kuwait as long as the streets are empty. Our main plan revolved around seeing Ironman that day, we were all looking forward to it. There was also the boat show, but I just wasn’t sure of the dates or when it was opening since it was delayed due to the dust storms.
We go to Al Koot Mall in record time, there were some corners that you couldn’t help but drift through them. The streets of Kuwait are fun as long as its empty, it was pretty cool that day as well so it wasn’t too hot outside. We got to Al Koot and had breakfast at Paul’s cafe since their weren’t too many breakfast places there that we knew off. At that point we were planning our day and what time we were meeting up for the movie and other plans for the night.
I am a huge fan of the Ferrari 599, I’m usually not the sports car nut but this machine is something else. Mansory have taken a work of art and turned it into a Master piece. I never thought this machine could be made any better, but I was wrong. They turned it into a supercharged 720 bhp monster with the a unique styling of white, carbon fiber, and red interior. They dropped the weight of this machine, used Ostrich skin for the interior and gave it the most unique look I have ever seen. I would take this supercar over any other supercar any day of the week.
