We have only heard rumors of this machine, and it has finally been on show at the Geneva Motor Show 2009. The 599XX has made my heart skip a beat, probably the meanest looking Ferrari I have seen which doesn’t look like a full blown race car. I like the combination of Red and Dark Grey top half & Rims. They have thrown everything they have into this machine, this is the most extreme version. Only a select few will be offered the chance to buy this machine. I’m still stunned by it!

Are you tired of your Supercar, is it too readily available, then the Tramontana R is for you! To me it looks like a Airel Atom on steroids, I bet that this car is faster then a jet fighter. V-12 5.5 Liter Mercedes engine pumping out 550 bhp or a twin-turbocharged 760 bhp version with 811 lbs-ft of torque. 0-100 kph in 3.6 seconds and 10.15 seconds to 200 kph. The pictures are decieving, this is a big car at 192 inches, and 82 inces wide, with 50/50 weight distribution. I really like the way they built the seating in the cockpit, feels more like a jet fighter then a vehicle. Only 12 are being made a year which can be bought for $500,000.

Can we say Nurenberg Ring of Abu Dhabi or the best drive way in the world. 60 corners and 7.3 miles long, this is one fun road to drive up. Fifth gear seemed to enjoy themselves on this road, its strange I have never heard of Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road. At the top there is one Palace belonging to the Royal Family which seems uninhabitated, and a large parking lot for doughnuts and a basic road side cafe at the top. Its the same way to go up and the same way to go down, I wouldn’t mind trying this road out, the next time I’m in Abu Dhabi, too bad we don’t have fun roads like this in Kuwait. Perfectly paved, no turns off, and wide enough to have fun. Check out the youtube video at the link.

A few modifications to the normal Corvette, its a package then you can get for the C6, Z06, or ZR1 to look like this GT1. Only a limited number of units will be made in this package, I like the graphics on the hood but may be with another color. If it is a non-Z06 then they get the Z-51 performance package, and they all come with chrome wheels. This might not be to everyone’s taste but its interesting how GM is still making this in their situation, I just hope they don’t stop making cool cars.

It seems that GM has to cut back on expenditures and operational costs as part of the deal when they took the government loan. A large part of that is cutting back on marketing and that includes Transformers 2. I don’t care about GM as long as they don’t affect Transformers 2, and on another note I would put a decent bid for that statue of Bumblebee. That would be the coolest statue any man can have, a cooler one would be of Optimus Prime.

Robb Report rated this as the car of the year! I can’t blame them, seriously this is a beautiful and excellently engineered machine from Lamborghini. It has the looks, handles like its on rails, and takes off like a rocket. The combination of power and precision you get from this engine and four-wheel-drive system is unprecedented.

A vehicle from Rolls Royce which is causing ripples in the water. A different look and probably with a high price tag. A new V12 will be in this machine, but details aren’t out yet. I like the front look of this car, it looks like its squinting. The one thing I don’t like about these cars is how the back doors open and how hard it is to get into the car, but I probablyl won’t ever be getting into one of those cars.

Who would ever think that GM would offer the ZR1 LS9 engine as a ready to order engine. That just makes an engine transplant so very tempting. With 630 bhp ready to be dumped into any machine, it is going to fly but the price is a bit steep going for $21’000 and that doesn’t include all the other items that need to be added to make for a full working engine. Still its a very tempting endeavor to put this engine into the heart of any machine.

You find out something new every day, every time I would get in the beemer I would get a few minor tweaks that I have been postponing for a little while. The one thing I don’t miss is when my car burns through the oil, I go for the top up.
I went in for an oil top up since it was running a little low. One of the other errors I keep getting on my screen was low battery in my key, one the features that I have enjoyed with my car for a few years now is push start without having to take my keys out of my pocket. At the time very few cars had it, but now its pretty common. When I went in for the oil top up I told them about the error regarding my key having a low battery. I thought they would just replace one of those really small batteries. The service guy asked if I put my key into the car or just switch it on while in my pocket. I told him that over the past couple of years I have never taken the key out of my pocket. He said that it has a recahargeable battery and that I need to plug the key into the car and start it to charge it up. I felt a little dumb since I usually read up as much as possible on the car but this time I just asked and got a very simple answer.
I don’t know what is more exciting, taking a look at this beautiful machine that GM has created. Or that this machine is going to be one of the robots in Transformers 2: Revenge of The Fallen! They have to put this machine into production, it looks so damn menacing, I want to get my hands on it. This corvette would transform into Sideswipe, a robot with skates. It will be a success just as the Corvette is, if it went into production which I doubt at this point.
