A GM Commercial about Americans still making rockets shows the ZR1 strutting it’s stuff on the road. The 683 bhp beast from Chevrolet which can beat almost ever high end car out there without much effort, its more like a German engineered vehicle then an American built sports car, I liked the commercial, but more action scenes next time please.
Now this would be a site to see, Smart Tanks being sold, too bad this is just a custom car that is completely the opposite of the Smart car concept. It looks like a little lovely piece of destruction and probably a lot of fun to drive, but turning would be a hassle so I would recommend running over things instead.

I just love this car, there is so much about it that is fantastic, it is just a ridiculous piece of engineering. Fiat made a successful car with the 500. Then they came up with the Abarth 500, with is the “M” or “AMG” version of the 500, then they came up with the Abarth 500 Ferrari Edition. I really like the look of this little beast, looks like its going to bite somebody’s ankle off if you give your back for even a second.
Pogea Racing have taken the Abarth 500 and fitting with Turbos, upgraded ECU, and a bigger set of brakes. Giving this very small car a very potent 264 bhp and 243 lb-ft, which is very powerful for a car of this size. Then it looks amazing, just like a small Stradalli, a very menacing package all together. The interior looks just as good as the exterior, what a perfect little car.

Now you know what can be done with wide open spaces, what an amazing job drifting. I am big fan of the Audi R8, and since introducing the V10 version they have really made the perfect machine. Previously it has amazing handling but just a bit underpowered with the V8, but with the V10 its a perfect combination. This video speaks wonders for the machine, they are trying to make a short video which I think is an Audi Ad using an Air Strip and a blue Audi R8 V10. He puts it through the perfect drift, and then slide after slide, I wish we had roads like that to put our cars through its paces.

What a beautiful machine from Ferrar, the 599 GTO, and Chris Harris at EVO is the lucky guy that gets to test drive it. It is marketed as a pure race breed machine, a monster on the track and worth the price. As mentioned before all 599 of these cars have been pre-sold before production, and you can’t even get your hands on one at this point. I enjoy how Chris is driving at the 2:30 point and onwards, its a wild horse from Ferrari. He does go into the detail of describing his opinion of the car, but I don’t really care, I just care to see this beautiful machine in action.
I like how they call this color Furious Fuschia, they are really taking the Muscle car to another level with the Challenger, some people may not like it but I love the bluntness of this car, they were unapologetic when they made it and they love the statement that it makes. They have now upgrade to a 6.4 Liter Hemi for the SRT8 with a bump of 55 horsepower and 40 pound-feet of torque up to 480 bhp and 460 lb-ft. They are also planning upgrades for the interior, but I think that its simple and fits the simple look of this muscle car. I’m not expecting this car to handle like a German machine but I think it would be a lot of fun to drive.

A retro look to a modern corvette, and a treat for any fan of the Corvette Stingray from 60s. Rossi seems to be a doing a full conversion of C6 into a modern 60s Stingray. The whole drive train remains the same with the body work. The split window look with the C6 included would cost $130’000 in total, and they would be able to do it for the Z06 & ZR1 for the price difference between them and the C6.

There isn’t much I can say other then watch the video, it is everything a man can dream of. Motortrend take the three new supercars to the twisting roads of Las Vegas for some head to head testing. I just love the sound of these machines, the R8 does seem to have the best engine, I do love the Gullwings of the SLS AMG, and the new 911 Turbo is just out of this world.
I never even knew that Ferrari held a festival in Japan, and 600 Ferraris converge in one location in Japan. All organized by the Italian branch in Japan, I never even knew they had a dealership in Japan let alone a whole branch. So many beautiful cars, from the F1 F399, six FXX’s and even four of the brand new 599XX circling the track. A couple of F40s and F50s thrown into the mix, while a debut for the 599 GTO (which is already all sold out before its production is done) and the 458 Italia. So many beautiful machines in one location in Japan.

I am a fan of the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, I am also a fan of the Ferrari California. Now the combination of the two with Ferrari test driver Marc Gene make for a very entertaining drive. Burning tires through turns, the perfect oversteer around the corners. Damn I wish I could drive like that around those corners, but I would probably get a little too close to the barriers since there is very little room for mistakes on this track.
