The Nerd in me got excited when I saw this, ThinkGeek always do come up with the coolest items and I always want to go on their website and order a ton of stuff. I still haven’t played Portal 2 yet and this isn’t helping.
I have about four to five lenses in my current kit and I use about two to three most of the time, and I have been reading about Lensbaby lenses for some time now, they are not as expensive but come out with some very trippy photographs, sort of like an insant Instagram filt built into a real DSLR camera. There are several Lenses to choose from and they range from $150 up to $450 depending on the effect that you are looking for, and now they have put together a kit of everything they have which seems extremely tempting. Even though the is on the high side I have always been tempted to try out one of their lenses and after watching the youtube video I might pick up a lens, but if you are looking for the whole kit this is the perfect package.
The Lensbaby Movie Maker’s Kit is designed for Canon DSLRs (like the 5D MKII, 60D, T2i, etc…) and Arri PL movie cameras, with an array of optic adapters that can create trippy-looking fisheye, wide angle and soft-focus effects, among others. The whole thing will cost you $2900, but it might help you further your craft.

I am one of those people who loves Back to the Future, I would love to get my hands on the DeLorean and keep it as a show piece if I had the money and time to put one together. I previously talked about the shoes that they released last year with the Special Edition Blu Ray but these shoes are the ones Marty McFly wore and were self tying. only 1500 of these will be made with all of the proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. People are going insane for these shoes and if you thought women were too vain about their shoes, you need to meet British rap act Tinie Tempah. In a bid to get his hands on the first pair of Nike’s limited edition, McFly-inspired Air Mag sneakers on eBay, TMZ reports that he had to fork out a whopping $37,500! The cheapest shoes start at $2000 and go all the way up to $10000 depending on your size, I would love to have these shoes, I would honestly put them on display and NEVER wear them.

CineSkates are a set of three wheels that quickly attach to a tripod and enable fluid, rolling video in an ultra-portable package. CineSkates work specifically with the GorillaPod Focus tripod. A ballhead is also required… most small, strong ballheads will work great. Fortunately, JOBY, the maker of GorillaPod Focus and Ballhead X has agreed to include their products in the CineSkates System at a generous price!
Since DSLRs have become amazing at taking videos I have been thinking about purchasing a dolly but they are expensive and bulky. But with this new Kickstarter project called Cineskates its a totally different dolly solution. This Kickstarter project is in such high demand its gone past $100,000 more than the original $20,000 goal. The Camera Sliders attach to the bottom of a Gorilla pod (included), changing it into an extremely versatile and flexible camera dolly. With such flexibility and the adjustable BallHead, the CineSkates make it easy to achieve low and creative camera angles. I didn’t even think about how you can be creative and angle the Gorilla Pod legs to make the camera move in interesting ways, you can see it by checking out the video below. I already backed the project and can’t wait to get my hands on the CineSkates and test it out as I already have the GorillaPod Focus and X-Ballhead.

Rule the office airspace with HELO TC, the touch-controlled RC helicopter you control with your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
Griffin make the most interesting and convenient accessories for Apple Products, I wasn’t expecting them to come with helicopter controlled by your IOs device. And for $50 its very cheap and fun, you get to control it with any of your devices, through touch or tilt, I would prefer tilt.

I think at this point we all have thousand and thousands of pictures stored on our hard drives between all the camera and phone pictures we take. I find it very hard to decide what pictures to put up on my wall, it really is a very difficult choice to choose 10 pictures from over 10 thousand to print and where to put them.
Now CollageWall is something I have been thinking about for sometime now and I have really come up with a very nice idea of putting pictures and patterns together in the perfect way. The prices are rather reasonable, ranging from $50 up to $600 depending on the number of pictures and the size of the pictures you have in mind. The best part of the whole thing is the fool proof installation of this photographs.

Stash your savings in this DSLR bank ’til you’ve got enough dough for the real thing. Slip your coins in through a hidden slot in the lens for safe keeping, or until you need to feed the meter. Aside from the coin slot, this hyper-detailed bank looks just like the real deal. It even has all the buttons and switches of a real camera, plus a viewing screen and a detachable lens!
Photojojo come up with the most unique photography accessories and items that you can think of. And this time around they have made a life like fully detailed bank to resemble a DSLR, the first time I saw the pictures I thought it was real. Even in the pictures next to the real thing its pretty deceiving how real it looks. For only $24 its pretty cheap for a highly detailed DSLR Bank and its very very cool, I would mind having one on my desk.

It no news that I am a huge fan of Moleskine products and almost every notebook they have come up with, I haven’t had enough material or things to write and draw in all the books I have from them but still I can’t help picking one up whenever I see it. At last Moleskine has decided to open an online store, after such a long time to find each and every Moleskine is now so easily available on their website and I didn’t realize there were so many different kinds of Moleskines, I was very much tempted to make a purchase while surfing the site but I will myself from clicking the purchase button.

When I first got the iPad the first thing I wanted was a decent case so I automatically checkout Griffin to see what they had, and they had a nice selection of covers, and I did the same thing when I got the iPad 2. But with the iPad 2 it seemed that a lot of manufacturers were having difficulty putting together a decent and functional protective case, I didn’t want just a sleeve or something fashionable, I wanted a case that would make it easy for me to watch shows and movies on my iPad 2 in any situation and protect it while I’m moving. The magnetic case from Apple sucks cause it keeps falling off and their have been a few situations where the iPad ends up falling on my face, and thats not good.
With the Griffin Intellicase your iPad 2 is held securely in place and you can place it in a standing or sitting position based on your viewing needs. I for one do love Griffin products because they are made with functionality and quality in mind.

If you’re a professional photographer taking your camera into extreme environments, the cheap plastic body cap that comes with your DSLR might not cut it. That’s where LockCircle comes in — it’s a solid billett aluminum body cap designed to seal your camera from the elements while providing a special grip for removal even if you’re wearing thick gloves. They’re available for Canon EF mount cameras in silver, titanium, and black, and will soon be available for Nikon’s F mount as well.
I have 3 DSLR cameras since 2003 and I have lost a few caps here and there, somehow they get misplaced over the years. Having a solid aluminum body cap won’t be something you misplace and it will protect the internals of your camera perfectly. Right now they only have the body cap for the Canon in silver, titanium, and black for $99 each, and the Nikon F mount will be coming soon. I think it would be pretty cool to have this on the camera and make sure that it remains there, the plastic ones I have are a bit flimsy and sometimes a bit loose, but this one looks like it would literally lock in and not let go.
