MotoArt Jumbo Jet Table...

JumboJetTable1

Bring the iconic Boeing 747 into your conference room with MotoArt’s newest piece made from a General Electric engine nacelle. At 12’ wide this high-mirror polished table seats up to 12, and includes a set of 6 pop-up connection ports. The custom fabricated engine stator is set off with internal LED lighting in a color or your choice, and topped with a B-52 engine spinner.

JumboJetTable2

This is probably the coolest conference table from MotoArt that I have ever seen, made from a Boeing 747 Engine. They make amazing pieces of furniture from old plane parts, but this is one of the best I have seen them make. The process they go through is exhausting to get the perfect piece, and thats one of the reasons why it is so expensive. I have yet to walk into an office with MotoArt furniture, it would take a very rich company to buy that sort of furniture. Still I really love this meeting table.

Price: $35’000 – $45’000

Bose Quiet Comfort 20...

BoseQC20_1

You can say what you want about Bose, but they are the kings of sound, different headphones have different effects depending on what you want out of it. Some people swear by Beats or Sennheiser and they are excellent products but from my experience Bose always tops the list. I have the in-ear Triport headphones which I live by them when I ride, and I have the the Quiet Comfort 15 which are the best to use when flying, and the battery is fantastic on them. Bose maybe mainstream, but their products are quality products and speak for themselves.

BoseQC20_2

The Bose QC20 is Bose’s first-ever noise-cancelling earbuds from Bose, there have been other, but I think that Bose would have taken their time to do this and get it right. It’s price at $299 and set for release on the 1st of August and I for one will be purchasing it right away without a second thought, the QC 15 are amazing, but sometimes bulky to carry around. It comes into variations, the QC20 and QC20i, the QC20 is for Blackbbery, Android, and Windows, while the QC20i is for all Apple products, they have different reactions to the answer button.

BoseQC20_3

Acoustic Noise Cancelling Technology in in a small device. There is also an “Aware” mode lets you hear what’s around you when listening to music, which is pretty intuitive when using this device, so you won’t feel like you are in a silent room. You still have to have some sort of controlling device to use it but I can live with that.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Cases...

S4Folio1

Samsung Galaxy S4 Flip Cover Folio

This is the Case that comes from Samsung, a simple Folio with a small cut out for the screen at the top showing some quick information. It’s a simple cover which protects the screen from being scratched but doesn’t protect the body from damage.

S4Folio2

Honestly I thought this would be a better cover, but you just replace the back with a folio attached and I was a bit disappointed by it. The folio looks good but then its just disappointing that it doesn’t really improve the use of the phone expect that it gets in the way of the phone. You have to flip the cover off every time to use the phone normally which gets annoying quickly, this cover isn’t for everyone.

S4Spigen1

Samsung Galaxy S4 Spigen SGP Slim Fit Case

The Spigen cover turned out to be the perfect fit for my use. This is a full cover around the phone with the volume and power buttons working perfectly. The back is covered with a matt black plastic which makes it not slip like the normal back, and there is an opening for the Camera, Flash, and the speaker. The shape of the frame of the cover is perfect so you can really grip the phone easily and thats what I love about it, unlike the phone’s normal curved sides this gives it a bit of a better frame which makes it easier to grip. The only draw back is that not every USB head can fit into the bottom of this case.

Samsung Galaxy – Going On All Dire...

SamSungGalaxyNX

The Beast from Samsung, they decided to combine their best selling product into a DSLR and came up with the Samsung Galaxy NX. It has Interchangeable lenses, Android Jelly Bean and 4G LTE to say the least. The device is said to be as big as the Canon Rebel than that of a smaller Samsung NX300 model. The size is a determination factor for some people looking for a DSLR but a very smart one in this case, connecting to Wifi or Bluetooth or LTE. This is when to great devices are molded together looks like.

Galaxy NX also packs a large 4.8-inch HD LCD display on its rear and is powered by a 1.6GHz Pega-Q quad-core setup and separate DRIMe IV Signal processor for imaging. The UI should look pretty familiar to anyone who’s used an Android device before, and specificly the Galaxy Camera before, with the common apps and widgets submenus, as well as the wheel interface for its 30 Smart Modes — employed when selecting imaging settings. And if you happen to own any of the company’s other NX cameras, you’ll be able to swap out lenses (13 in all) as the Galaxy NX is fully compatible with that range. It also incorporates a hybrid AF, culled from the best of DSLRs and compacts, with a shutter speed of 1/6,000th of a second and 8.6fps shooting.

SamsungGalaxyS4Active

This though is an interesting “mutation” from Samsung, there aren’t a lot of heavy duty use phone’s out there, and if there are then they are usually very low spec with a lot of armor. But the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is high spec and its also waterproof and a bit of added armor, and barely any reduction in quality. The camera on this phone is a little less powerful from the 13 MP to 8 MP but it seems to compliment under water use. I just think this phone can take a beating and thats why some people would like it in comparison to the S4. And honestly I prefer the buttons at the bottom then they do the touch panel on the S4, I missed buttons when they took them away.

SamsungGalaxyS4Zoom

This one though is truly a phone, not just a data enabled camera like the Samsung Galaxy Camera. The phone features a 10x optical zoom lens in front of its 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, with a Xenon flash for adding some extra light to your images.

The S4 Zoom has a 4.3-inch qHD (960×540) Super Amoled display and 1.5GHz dual-core processor, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and supports LTE. Predictably, it’s big and heavy, at 208 grams and 15.4 millimeters thick — nearly double the thickness of the original Galaxy S4. It is, however, measurably slimmer than last year’s Galaxy Camera, Samsung’s first crack at adding an Android interface to a consumer point-and-shoot. Photographically speaking, things look similar between the two: both devices shoot at the same resolution and max out at ISO 3200, although the older Galaxy has a much longer 21x optical zoom range. Its lens is also slightly (less than a third of a stop) faster, at f/2.8-5.9, compared with the S4 Zoom’s f/3.1-6.3 maximum aperture. So the Samsung Galaxy Camera is faster with a better Zoom but thicker, so who would go for this, I wouldn’t be too inclined since I have the Galaxy Camera and I’m very happy with it. But still its only a point and shoot, no comparison to the Canon G12 or G15 in my opinion as to speed or depth of shot.

Google Keyboard in Google Play...

GoogleKeyboardS4

Previously the only real Keyboard you could buy was Swift 3 and that’s what I did since I didn’t like the Samsung Galaxy S4 standard Keyboard. But as of June 5th the Standard Google Keyboard which was only available previously on the Nexus devices is now available as download for devices with Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and above.

There are different levels of predictive text as well as the swype option, it’s a keyboard with options and a clean feel. If you don’t have a Nexus phone try it out, you will like, its a different and clean feel for Google Keyboard. What I like is that they recently made it into its own App just like GMail, Maps, & G+.

Q8Figures – For The Anime & C...

Q8Figures2

20 Years back nobody had a clue what Anime was in the Middle East, nobody even knew the amount of old school gold KTV 2 was getting their hands on. Finding anime was like a game of hide and seek, you really had to look around a video store to find it, and my first exposure to it was in the early 90s at the video club in Salmiya Mariam Center. Now its mainstream and I still love it, there are a lot of great Animes out there to find. With these shows I get hooked on I look for these collectibles, and I use different suppliers from the US, UK, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Always finding unique items or items with crazy details that I love, I have about 60% of what I buy on the shelves with the other 40% in the largest storage room because I have no where to put them. Previously you have really search through Rihab to find any good items in Kuwait, and sometimes they are cheaper then the US & Ebay, but thanks to Instagram that has changed.

Q8Figures3

There are a few excellent suppliers who bring a consistent number of models and collectibles and what I love is that these guys really do love what they do. One of them is Q8 Figures, I try to buy from local suppliers as much as I can, if the difference isn’t that much I go for them, and sometimes they are honestly cheaper. You have to appreciate someone who loves his craft and Mohammed from Q8 Figures is one of those guys, he gets unique items I can’t even find on Ebay easily, they pop up every once in a while but I do always find them.

Q8Figures1

Over the past year and a half I have bought a few unique items from Q8 Figures, and just this week I picked up the Gurren Lagann, Mazinkizer SKL, and Berserk Guts (This was hard to find). I literally made space for them on the shelves, they are amazing pieces and worth waiting for them, and he keeps me checking his Instagram for more unique items. He also has a website with his current stock but to really know what he has you have to check out his Instagram account.

Now Both iPod Nano’s Are Gone...

LunaTikDeadNano

The iPad Nano with my LunaTik were the perfect combination for the longest time, especially when riding. I remember when I first got the LunaTik in May 2011, it was the main reason I got the iPod Nano, it was the perfect fit for riding and controlling the music, right from my wrist, I can make changes without having to open my jacket.

The iPod Nano with the black plastic strap died in December of 2012, but the Nano with the Red LunaTik frame died this past weekend, exactly two years since I started using it and now I have no use for my LunaTik even though I love it and still use it, the only place I can find iPod Nanos at this stage is on Ebay, I’m annoyed that it barely has a two year life span. I plugged it in and said ERROR in 8-bit font, went off and never came back again. I’m not getting the new Nano, no use for it, I still have to stuff it in my pocket to use it so in that case I’m better off using my phone.

Go Pro Hero 3 – Go Pro & The ...

GoProHero3Lens1

You know a company loves their product when it works so well and everyone enjoys using it. During one of my rides an excited friend was riding in front of me and started throwing stones at me from the loose gravel on the road, and coming out of those tires they felt like metal ball bearings and hurt like hell. And thanks to the “Stone Thrower” the lens on my Go Pro Hero 3 cracked and at the time I had to get a replacement for it right away, no way to fix it.

GoProHero3Lens2

Above is the case that GoPro sent to me for Free after I told them about what happened and that before they were selling a kit to change the lens, they told me that they would be selling the kit by April with two replacements. Its great of them to send me free case just because I asked about the repair kit, I wasn’t even asking for a free case, but you have to love a company that loves its customers.

GoProHero3Lens3

The Lens kit I got as you can see is simple, comes with the screw driver, screws, rubber seals, and to glass lenses for $20 which is very reasonable. I still scratched up a lens while using the GoPros for riding this season, and it only took 15 mins to change it, even when I was doing it carefully. Its great now that they sell the kit for it, and I know I haven’t reviewed the GoPro Hero 3, I just got caught up having too much fun with it. I will be getting back to that very soon. The picture above is the damaged GoPro Hero 3, and below the is the same GoPro Hero 3 with a fixed lens, check out the picture after that for the simple kit from GoPro.

HTC One – Mophie Juice Pack...

HTConeMophie1

This is a surprise to me, turns out the Mophie made a Juice Pack for the HTC One, they never made it for any other device other then the iPhone and the Samsung SIII, and its not that there is huge volume of the HTC One out there, so I wonder what made them change their mind and produce it. I for one am happy that they are producing the juicepack for other manufacturers, and they are bound to make one for the Galaxy S4. For $99 its reasonably priced, and you know you love it the moment your phone is on the verge of dying, 2500 mAh is enough to bring it back to full charge without any use.

The Dark Knight’s Tumbler is Here!...

BatmanTumbler1

If you have $1.6 Million to spare then this is what you should do it, build your own Tumbler. A machine like no other, who wouldn’t be intimidated with this machine in its rear view mirror. I wonder how people would react to it on the streets. I’m assuming that this machine wouldn’t be built proof like Batman’s but it would still be a machine to be afraid of. This bueatiful creation is built by Team Galag, their name is hilarious, and surprisingly it is street legal.

BatmanTumbler2

The DC Comics inspired machine is packed with a 6.2 liter V8 engine, and can hit a top speed of 100 miles per hour. And this machine is going to be driven by one lucky guy in Copenhagen for Gumball. Now that is an exotic machine, the Hoosiers are probably the only tires that fit this machine. Now the only thing left is to get the Bat Cave to fill with the rest of Batman’s machines.
