RX7 Corsair Haga 41 Helmet...

I am a huge fan of Noriaga Haga, he is one those riders that keeps it really interesting on the track. Very quiet when you see him, but very intense when he is riding a machine. One of the Arai helmets I have is a Haga edition, and now this one just came out for 2008. I didn’t see it before, and I called to check if they have it in stock and bought it right away, its never wrong to have too many helmets. Its called Haga “Fire & Ice”, it is selling for $700 which is 30% cheaper then buying it from Europe or the Middle East, so you can add some shipping to that, and its still cheaper. I can’t wait to try it on when I’m riding but this heat is just ridiculous.

Gorillapod SLR...

I have been looking for a suitable small and camera tripod that can be carried in  back pack without giving you too much pain after some time. After some search and recommendations I managed to find a Gorillapod on one of my quick trips. They had a normal one but after some searching we found the SLR version of the Gorillapod, which I think every photographer should have. It does look a bit strange but its extremely functional, can be used in different situations to get the perfect shot. It can be used both with an SLR and a normal camera because of the small adapter they have with it.

Skorpion Armani Skates...

Never thought that Armani would start making Skates. These seem to be part of Armani’s EA7 collection which is supposed to be sporty, and you can have a pair of these for $425. I honestly think they are pretty cool looking but I wonder how good they are. Skorpion seems to make other Skates which aren’t styled by Armani for much cheaper.

Marmot Aura Tent...

I have gone camping a few times in my life time, and I have made some major mistakes during the camping trip and the equipment that we would bring. I remember one of the best moments is sleeping under the night sky in the desert and seeing all the starts, this being see through is an added bones but it might not be as simple as it looks to put it together, that is what is deceiving about these tents you never know how hard it is to put them together until it is time to do it.

Camera Suction Mount...

Who doesn’t like those car chases with the right angles, strange camera shots from vehicles, and moving vehicle shots. To get these types of shots you need a camera suction mount which I have been looking into every once in a while. It wasn’t a necessary item but I always wish I had it, and after a couple of weeks ago a friend called me up and told he got me a really good camera mount.

It looks like one hell of a heavy duty camera, but I have to make sure after some testing that it will hold on and do the job. I really like hot flexible it is, and I have had it mount onto the shelf for over 5 days now and it won’t budge which is a good sign. I will test it with a non-essential camera on a moving vehicle before using my DSLR. The overall quality is apparent from the moment you use it, and I can’t wait to use it.

Megalopolis Executive...

I was looking for a good motorcycle back pack and their a few in mind. It would have to be extremely durable and can carry any weight comfortable on my back. After a little research I’m surprised to find this back pack to be ideal for my needs, and an added bonus to be a certified CE back protector, meaning if you fall it will not only protect the items in the back pack but your pack as well.

J.D. Power Associate Motorcycle Helmet S...

I always look into the latest J.D. Power Associates study for helmets and other items. They have a very clear criteria when it comes to motorcycle helmets, its based on a 1000 point system and owners of these helmets are surveyed. 11 key areas which affect helmet scoring:

  • quietness
  • ventilation/air flow
  • de-fogging
  • face shield ability to keep wind out
  • face shield ability to resist scratching
  • ease of replacing face shield
  • scratch resistance of shell
  • color/graphic design
  • weight
  • ease of fastening the strap
  • comfort/fit.

Arai has been the number one for the past 10 years in a row. I have to say that I am one of there very satisfied customers. Arai comes in first at 819 points, and Shoei in second with 816 points. I always recommend both Arai and Shoei, and I also recommend Scorpion as an alternative to the usual brands.

Ranking:

  1. Arai
  2. Shoei
  3. Icon
  4. Scorpion
  5. Harley-Davidson
  6. Nolan
  7. KBC
  8. Bell
  9. Fulmer

Tiffany Turbo Ti Accessories...

For once Tiffany has come up with something original with this design. Sterling silver gears embedded into titantanium giving it a very solid and clean look. This is something I would expect from Porsche Design, but it seems Tiffany has gotten something right.

Spyderco Byrdwrench Multi-Tool...

A multi-tool always comes in useful, but this one is a little different then the usual multi-tool. When thinking of a multi-tool I think of swiss army knife, I don’t think there is anyone that hasn’t had a swiss knife at some point in their lives. This Spyderco Multi-tool is very different as multi-tool, it is more functional the the small pocket tools.

Features:

  • Full Blade
  • Functional Pliers
  • Screw Drivers (+,-)
