This is a thriller movie with Anthony Hopkins playing the genius Ted Crawford of Crawford Engineering! He finds out that his wife is cheating on him and so he plans the perfect way to kill her and get away with it. The person she was having an affair with was a police officer and he wasn’t aware of all the details, when he turns up to the murder scene he finds his lover dead on the floor and things unravel from there. The young attorny played by Ryan Gosling is outwitted by Crawford because of he was distracted with other things, and later it is turned into a battle of wits between Crawford and Beechum (Gosling). Hopkins plays the perfect character in this thriller and you get pulled in more and more looking for all the clues and how things are going to work out in the end. Crawford is arrogant, cunning, sinister, and ingenious that you really want to see whats next. If you like Hopkins then you will really enjoy this movie.
