In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. I’m a big fan of Steve Carrel so I was looking forward to the movie, but wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Gru is trying to be the most evil genius the world, and he just can’t seem to get there. Now Gru is funny, but his minions are hilarious, I mean they are just a bunch of funny creatures who live their lives as minions and funny lives. Throw the kids into the mix and it just gets even funnier, they hit Gru where he doesn’t expect, and its a hell of an adventure. After watching this movie, everyone is going to want a minion, I want a few.
